We have stayed here several times over the years, as it is conveniently located for the Calais cross channel links. On the plus side, it has some parking in its own car park, and if you have an outside room, it can be very convenient having the car right outside the room. But the hotel needs to be cheered up... We stayed here for one night before our return to the UK. Typical french old style hotel. Our room was clean. On the small side for a family room. Beds were very comfortable. The bathroom needs replacing, well past its used date! Small amount of toiletries provided. Doors are locked from around 730pm therefore back fire escape entrance code provided.... More

Have to say that we had no problems here as some people in the past have done. Our welcome was warm and courteous and whatever problems between management and British tourists seem, I suspect, to have been confined to the World Cup. If only the English team had made such an impact. Clean and comfortable and it was absolutely fine... More

We took the chunnel across to Calai and then drove down to Boulogne. On the way, we decided to stop in Saint-Omer for a night. Not far from the center of the town, we found Hotel Saint Louis, an old coach house. It was reasonably priced (around 90 pounds per night--about 125 dollars). It was older and quite quaint, so... Everywhere was full...bank holiday weekend. This was an ok place typical French, room was clean, bed comfy, but could do with a refurb. The bathroom was small also needed the same! Breakfast was alright, at least the bread was fresh and the coffee good. There are better places to stay, but it was quiet and convenient for strolling into town.

Saint Omer is usually a stopping off point for people when they are going somewhere else, but they're missing a treat here as its a great French town, with a nice park, market and a square full of bars and restaurants. The Hotel St Louis suited our party of four adults perfect. It was quiet, the rooms were gorgeous, excellent... More

On arrival there was nobody at reception . I did cancel one of our rooms two weeks prior to find they hadn't cancelled , which we had to pay for 😡.. That didn't sit very well... The rooms were filthy , I havnt a clue what the cleaners do. They did change the beds every day .. During one of... More

Last-night stop before the ferry - good price, comfortable and nicely situated, with good secure parking. Nice breakfast, but restaurant not open so we walked a short distance into town. Friendly management, everything clean and comfortable.

When we arrived we asked if we were football hooligans as we were English, I was taken aback and replied of course not, the Lady who checked us in at reception was quite rude and very unhelpful. I do not recommend you stay here ever.

We were greeted by the owner who told us that if we were trouble, the police would be called and we will be locked up. That was quite upsetting! We were not coming to watch the football (pretty obvious as we had our baby and parents with us). We reserved the room thinking that we had the garden rooms (we... More
