We stayed en route to the tunnel, and discovered a gem! It is a big old quayside house (c. 1900) and has many original features, and is very tastefully decorated and immaculate. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast very good; home made yoghurt and jams with very fresh bread and pastries. Parking was free and very convenient. It's...

The reception, at the end of a long foggy drive, was superb and we were immediately made to feel at home in this charming and pleasantly quirky hotel. We were given the choice of large rooms, dependent on our preference for a shower or bath. Both were well appointed, even having a kettle for early morning tea for the Brits!...

We have just returned from another visit to this excellent chambre d'hote As always Veronique was the perfect host who has huge amounts of local knowledge recommending places to visit and local restaurants. Rooms in typical French style, always clean and supported by a plentiful breakfast of breads, jams and homemade cakes and yoghurts Highly recommend this chambre d'hote if...

This is a fine old town house near the rail station and overlooking the canal. We had rooms at the back of the house with views into the spacious and well-kept garden – even in mid-October there were still some flowers in bloom. The rooms were large and well furnished; the en suite bathrooms were modern and fresh. You would...

This is our third visit to Veronique's beautiful guest house. We were greeted in such a welcoming way as usual, our son has not stopped here before. I could tell by his face he was most pleased with our choice of our last night's accommodation before our trip through the tunnel back home. We had booked the family suite which...

My wife, myself and our 8 year old stayed for one night after a long drive from the Vendee. Lovely old house and our room was spacious and very clean. Included a fridge and a microwave. Unfortunately the shower was in the bath and you needed to sit in the bath to use it. Loads of free, nearby parking and...

This is our 4th time staying with Veronique, the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast of home made bread, jams and yoghurt are a nice start to the day. Veronique is an excellent host and very helpful when trying to decide on places to visit or restaurants. This B&B really is the only place to stay when visiting Saint Omer.

My partner and I stayed here for the second time as we were so impressed on our first visit (2015) it's a rustic, boutique style B.B (hotel) the owner/host was soooo friendly and on our first visit we both struggled with our English/French dialogue..she's an amazing host..on our first visit she recommend and booked a fantastic local restaurant for us...on...

Stayed one night with friends and we were greeted by Veronique the owner who straight away invited us to a drink in her charming garden. The rooms are all very well presented with comfortable beds. The centre of the town is a short walk away and there is ample parking just across the road by the canal. The 7th century...

We stayed here for one night on our way back home. The decor is charming, very shabby chic in a classic French way. Good location, with plenty of free parking nearby. Good hosts, who kindly booked us in to an excellent restaurant ahead of our arrival. Lovely first floor room, with high ceilings and big windows opening onto the garden....
