The owner was unwelcoming in personality and barely spoke English (luckily we speak German). The little town does not have the amenities (restaurants, shops, sightseeing) that many of the other towns do - stay in Riquewihr, Ribeauville, Benwihr, Kinzheim.... just about any other town has wonderful things to visit and eat within walking distance. Though the bikes were free, they...

great B&B in Beblenheim.....lovely village to stroll round and far from the madding crowds! Parking and area to sit out is a bonus. Beautiful floral displays and eclectic mix of traditional tools outside . Nice comfy room...all clean . Great view of quiet street and storks even flew by one morning !! Lots of choice for continental breakfast...sets you up...

The hotel only has 8 rooms and is tucked away in the small village of Beblenheim in Alsace. It was spotlessly clean, had everything we required in the room and a good breakfast for only 8€. We had one of the smaller rooms which was fine, but we'd probably go for a larger one with a balcony next time for...

Nice place, and more reasonably priced than those directly on the wine route but Beblenheim is equally as charming and very near other more promoted villages. Very comfortable, modern rooms (we had a terrace) in a well-kept traditional building. The hotel is decorated in a sheep theme; rooms are more neutral. Very pleasant owner, but beware reception opens only 2 -...

My husband and I got back from a 5 day trip in Alsace (1 night in Strasbourg, the rest at various spots along the Route des Vins). We stayed at the Hotel la Bergerie for one of the nights. It was perfectly suitable: clean, easy to find, reasonably priced. The hostess was friendly, too. I do feel like we were...

Stayed one night in this lovely, cozy, romantic hotel in Beblenheim, on the way to Colmar. The house/building is cutely sheep-themed. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The owner was charming, and provided some valuable information on the surrounding area. Availability of parking onsite was helpful, as the area is best explored by car. Hotel was easy to find...

We chose this hotel because we wanted to visit Colmar and the surroundings of Beblenheim (Riquewihr, Ribeauville). When we reached it, we suddenly felt sorry for booking only two nights. The room with the terasse was absolutely beautiful, the courtyard as well, as for the surroundings, you feel like in a fairytale. We had dinner at the Agneau Blanc, a...

We were first looking for a hotel in Riquewihr but couldn't find anything reasonably priced and so we decided to stay in this charming nearby village of Beblenheim (5min drive / 20min bike ride from Riquewihr). Beblenheim is a very small village but has several wineries and a few nice restaurants too. Having read several reviews about La Bergerie we...

The hundreds of pairs of sheepy eyes which greet you in the reception area and the breakfast room of La Bergerie (= The Sheepfold) are very amusing. The establishment is registered as a hotel in order to differentiate itself from the many chambres d'hôtes in the area but it really is a home from home, has everything you could need...

This is a small and well appointed B&B with a great atmosphere ideally situated in a quiet side street off the main road and just off the wine route. Our room was a bit on the small side but it was clean, well appointed and comfortable and it was perfectly adequate for a 1/2 night stay. Our friends had a larger room...
