This is my 4th visit to Rama Beach and once again the hotel was everything I could wish for. Lovely warm welcome, it is my home from home. Friendly hard working staff where nothing is too much trouble. They will do their very best to help you.
As regards the Corona Virus, I had no worries staying at the hotel as Rama Beach are taking every precaution to ensure they do not have any virus. Hand sanitizer was everywhere, if staff or guests want masks, they will be provided.
The air conditioner units and all surfaces in rooms are being thoroughly cleaned and sanitised.
They have ceased the buffet style breakfast offering now a la carte menu.
Bali is a beautiful welcoming country and there is a massive drop in tourism because of this virus. I really hope tourism picks back up and have no hesitation in saying Rama Beach would be a safe place to stay.
See you all on my next visit which can’t come soon enough.

Just got back from an 8 night stay in a Pool villa, resort was very quiet due to
travel restrictions. This was our 3rd stay at the Rama we really like the location ,close enough but also far enough to the action. The resort is a traditional garden type all in pristine condition beautiful pool area and never any issues with getting a sun lounger ( no people putting towels on and disappearing for the day). Many resteraunt s and eateries nearby. The hotel staff go out of thier way to make you feel welcome Benny, Wyan, Yogi and Made at the pool bar Putu, Susi and Jenny in the resteraunt really make for a memorable stay . The rooms were very clean and we found the beds to be very comfortable. All in all another great stay at the Rama and we will stay again. Breakfast was plentiful with a more than decent selection.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Rama Beach. After arriving in Bali, tired, hot and hungry we found that the villa we had rented elsewhere was not at all what we were expecting and we did not want to stay a week there. After some searching online we found Rama Beach, it was a lifesaver. The staff were amazing. They were all very quick to help, pleasant and apologetic about any minor mistakes (with food). We stayed 7 nights in a deluxe room and then after a few nights in Gili T. we returned for a couple of nights to stay in suite pool villa (we had just reserved a pool villa and they upgraded us to the suite and welcomed us back with flowers on the bed saying “welcome back”). Second room was obviously nicer, but the first was perfectly fine as well. The only issue I had with the first room was that it seemed no matter what you did water dripped on the floor when you had a shower and the tub was slow draining. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean. We love hanging out in the pool, it was on the deep side, we couldn’t stand, but that’s ok, plenty of pool noodles to float on and there was a shallow wading pool for kids... Swim up bar, usually good tunes, nice selection of drinks and food. We always enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of food to choose from we especially enjoyed the egg station, croissants and the fried noodles. We ate there for lunch and dinner several times, all was good, my fav was the spring rolls, best spring rolls I’ve ever had. The grounds were well kept with beautiful fountains, statues, flowers.... Nowhere is perfect but all in all we thought it was great here. It felt like coming home to our home away from home after we got back from Gili T. Oh and it’s super close to the airport only about a 5 minute drive, they have a free airport transfer and also a free shuttle to Discovery Shopping Mall a few times a day. Also when we checked in the have us some welcome iced tea, delicious little cookies (taste like shortbread, had there logo embedded in them) and some cool moist towels.

This is our 4th time at Rama. Recommending to many friends over the years. This unfortunately is our last stay.

After the first buffet breakfast we received a letter of a change to a la carte with no reason. The menu was rubbish. A poor selection and at most times run out of food. The egg station was poorly prepped.

We stayed in a family villa which presented well. Most days when cleaned only 2 out of 4 bottles of water was provided. The soap bar ran out and was hit or miss if replaced.

There was a large gap in the door where mosquitoes entered behind the curtains. This was only discovered on our last night as our infant was bitten a few times during her sleep.

On check out we were charged for a missing packet of pringles. We never seen them from the start but agreed to pay due to a small cost. Then we were asked to pay for a broken shampoo container which admittedly was broken on our first night of our eight nights. Our anger was that it was never replaced by cleaners during the whole stay and only brought up at the end of stay.

The value for money is not on par at this resort. It seems to be more run down and lack of maintenance over the years. The manager seemed to be quite rude and ungrateful for the people staying there in such a quite period.

This is our second time staying at this hotel since 2016, and overall, it has been a good experience.

Location: There is no reason to complain about the location; it is incredibly convenient, particularly for first-time visitors to Bali or those who prefer not to travel far. Additionally, the hotel maintains a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, avoiding the busyness and noise of other locations.

Price: The price of the hotel is very affordable, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers.

Other: The staff at the hotel are friendly in general, creating a welcoming and hospitable environment. The swimming pool is also very nice, with the added bonus of a pool bar for guests to enjoy.

Room for improvement: However, it is worth noting that the rooms give off a dated appearance, as if no updates have been made in the past seven years. Additionally, the reception hall tends to be hot, which affects the overall comfort and welcoming atmosphere. To be honest, the Premier Deluxe Cottage seems to be a better option compared to the Pool Villa, or perhaps it was just a matter of the passage of time making everything appear newer and fresher.

Furthermore, it would be a bonus if the hotel manager could find time to interact with guests, enhancing the overall experience and personal touch.

Overall, despite the dated rooms and hot reception hall, we would still recommend this hotel to friends and family due to its attractive price and convenient location.

This is our third stay at Rama Beach over the past 20. This resort is always well maintained, with beautiful established gardens. Despite COVID it is still well maintained unlike other resorts we stayed at this trip. We stayed in connecting ground floor rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean with lovely courtyards out the front.

There is a beautiful spa, fabulous treatments and well trained staff, I highly recommend spending some time here.

Breakfast & other meals were ok. Staff are lovely, special thank you to the lovely lady who runs the dining area. She makes a point of knowing everyone by name, really makes you feel welcome.

Lovely deep pool, clean and the perfect temperature. Could usually find a pool lounge, although there could be a few more in place as there is space available.

Easy walk to the laundry, head out the front and turn left. Don’t go to the shop almost across the road next to the convenience store, she is an agent for a laundry and it’s not done there. She also charges triple the price of the actual laundry, and doesn’t weigh clothes correctly really best to avoid.

Overall great value for money on the quiet end of Kuta. We would happily stay here again if we come back to this area.

This hotel is a joke. Everything right from the start of our stay has been horrible. Room full of mosquitoes, hair dryer not working, iron non existent and when requested a faulty one was sent over, the locker not working. Even the most basic thing like Wifi was not working and it took them 7 attempts to get it to work after multiple trials and attempts by the staff. We requested for our rooms to be upgraded, and we were ready to pay but was informed that we can't upgrade by paying just the difference amount and instead our existing booking goes null and void with no refunds and we should make a new booking (why on earth would we do that?). The rooms does not look like the pictures advertised at all and are in a urgent need to be renovated or shut down. The breakfast options are poor and food tasted bland. It appears the food cutlery was never changed from the time the hotel was operational. You will be reminded unannounced in your room with a printout to checkout or pay: yes we know that we need to checkout, why would anybody ever want to stay even a second more in this hotel? Skip this horror, you can book a pretty decent hotel like Holiday Inn right opposite this one or if you are on budget there are plenty of other options in the proximity.

We stayed for 8 days in a nice cottage. It was spacious, decorated in the local style, and the bathroom had a bathtub and a large walk-in shower. The shower was actually outside but cleverly integrated into the bathroom. We loved the beautiful well kept gardens which were full of lovely trees and flowers and the swimming pool was gorgeous. Walking either through back or front door of the property brought us within a few minutes to the beach. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning with many items to choose from and accompanied by a musician playing a local instrument. We even were invited to a Friday afternoon tea. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we had a few issues with our cabin but everything was taken care of immediately.
We definitely would come back!

Once again Jenny and myself felt very at home to have the company of our Rama family looking after us in March 2020. even though our holiday was cut short because of Covid 19 we felt very safe and welcome. The staff are always welcoming and we love how they all treat us like a family every time we have stayed there many times over the years. Rama have always kept the gardens immaculate and the rooms are cleaned spotlessly every day! It is so easy to relax around the pool and have fun with the staff who work tirelessly and always with a smile on their faces. From the gardeners to the management we thank you so much and we will be back as soon as we can to enjoy your lovely resort once again.

Villas was disappointing, wifi connection was so bad when we told reception she just told to switch off and on mobile phones.Overall, the receptionist was not that pleasant. Lots of mosquitoes even closed all doors. Lights were too gloomy, and breakfast was not up to the mark. Bath tub was always choked, and their bathroom had a stinky smell. If you don't wash your hair regularly, this is not the right place to shower as they only have a ceiling shower. Worst experience, we had staying here. Hotel just wants to earn without providing service.

Hi Mick, the breakfast is good and plenty of it, you can either order your eggs, how ever you like them with your bacon or go to the egg station and order omelettes etc put your toast in and then look through all the other dishes, fruits, salads, pastries and lots of them, there is a coffee machine or you can order a cappuccino, at a cost though! Have you booked a certain room?? If you prefer a walk-in shower, as we do now!! 278-276 or garden cottage, we had one of those in October. Can’t recommend the Rama highly enough, we love it and the staff. Enjoy
