I stayed here 2 nights upon my arrival in Bali, it's an easy 15-20 minute walk from the airport. I love the vibe here so much with the pool and furnishing, even the cafe in the front is great with pleasant people there! I only gave it 4 stars because I've been in better places, and the bed isn't the best as it's too soft for me (I literally sank into it), but for a budget place near the airport, this is definitely a go-to.

I stayed here for a day and explored around Kuta! Great location to enjoy the beach vibes of Jerman & Kuta while strolling around. I'm amazed to experience the cleanliness of the rooms, toilets and lounge areas....and yes, they have pool also :) Lot of warmth & care for all guests from the owner and indeed - great value for money! Pros - Close to Airport, Cute cafe serving great food & Cool Indoor-Outdoor Decor!

Had an amazing time at Lokal Bali Hostel. Staff were super friendly, and willing to help. Rooms were really clean with big comfy beds with storage to hold your bags. Food was lovely and cheap! Good location and in walking distance of everything. Definitely will be coming back!

Lokal Bali Hostel is a cute hostel with a nice swimming pool. Perfect location (right by the main street). About 5 minutes drive to the airport. SUPER clean - even the bathrooms are extremely clean. Bed size are bigger than normal twin size and very comfortable. Private curtain for each bed. LOVE the locker they provided. Locker is big enough to put in your carry-on luggage and VERY SECURED. The staff is really nice, especially Miss. Putri. She is so sweet and extremely helpful. She will do her BEST to help make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. She is the BEST!!!. I highly recommend this hostel. I assured you will be happy at this hostel. Just one minor down-side - WIFI is very weak.

A big thank to the staff for the hospitality and the service. A wonderful place for solo and group travelers with an amazing pool. Guests can have free coffee and tea and they can request the delicious meals in the menu to be prepared for the breakfast, the lunch or the dinner.

I wasn’t a huge fan of this hostel for a few reasons. Having travelled from Gili T and taken most of the day to get back to Kuta, I was pretty hungry so ordered the avocado dish off the menu. What arrived what a plain omelette since they forgot to mention they’d run out of avocados, which seemed a bit odd. The next day, I asked the receptionist if I could have a new towel to use for sunbathing around the pool which she said was absolutely not possible. I only saw 3 other travellers at the hostel while I was there and plenty of clean laundry with a pile of towels. Then, I asked if I could borrow a plug adapter for my British appliances and the woman rolled her eyes at me. I felt like a big inconvenience for asking questions (despite paying £12 a night for the hostel!) I asked more questions about how to get to the shopping malls and the easiest way to get to the airport and once again, these questions were met with sighs and eye rolls. I’d recommend spending the money on somewhere else near the airport with friendlier staff. The pool and seating area is tiny and there is absolutely no atmosphere. …

Slept here for two nights. Walking to Kuta centre is 15 minutes if you are fast pacing. Everything is clean, great facilities (swimming pool, places to hang out) and the food is amazingly good. Staff is very friendly and helpfull and they speak English fluently. I had a wonderful stay, great people to meet. Beds are comfy clean and we had airconditioning. When I come back to Bali I will book you guys again. Ps. I left my jacket in the room, they kept it for me to pick it up! Great service!

I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm and it was beautifully clean and very comfortable. The lockers were HUGE - like I got in mind to see if I could fit and there would have been room for someone else too! The lockers are positioned at the end of each bed which I l9ved because it meant I didn't have to get out of bed to search through my bags for stuff. The shower never ran out of hot water and the bathrooms were very modern and spacious. In my dorm there were 2 full bathrooms for 4 beds. The pool area is fabulous and although the property is located on a road it felt like I was in a jungle - it was so quiet. Fantastic place for solo travellers to meet people. I huge thank you to staff member, Ari! He gave me so much help and support and was a pleasure to speak to. Putri is an angel! I skipped out on the 35K add on for breakfast and availed of the on site café instead. So many healthy options- buddah bowls, smoothie bowls, Indo food and more. If you stay here GET THE PINKY WINKY SMOOTHIE!! Dragonfruit, mango and banana deliciousness!!!! …

Not a big fan of hostels but this is where we ended up staying a couple of nights in Kuta. Loved the design choices and the AC dorm. I highly recommend the foot scrub in the adjacent spa of the same owner. The only bad thing about this place is that it's in Kuta but if you're reading this that is not a concern, this is a very good deal!

Love this place thus I extend until 4 nights stay. Staff are friendly. Nearby to airport and Kuta town. Many food stalls at the street outside this hostel at night and halal. Plus many halal restaurants too at noon.
