It is exactly like in the description. There’s beautiful nature all around, we saw a deer from our patio. Check in was digital and easy. The cabin was clean and the toilets and showers were also pretty clean. It is a 35 min drive to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. Only downside in my opinion is the price, since you don’t have your own bathroom at the mini cabins.

I enjoyed my stay, although a piece of the bed was sticking out that I racked my leg on. I was able to push the piece back in, but it hurt so bad. It really put a damper on things when something like that happens right away. Other than that, my stay was phenomenal.

We are so sorry! I will make sure the maintenance team checks all of the beds to make sure they are safe. It sounds like part of the frame that secures the mattress was loose. Our sincere apologies!

My boyfriend Tim and I have stayed here a couple times now. We absolutely LOVE it! We rented a 2 bed Cabin each time. We did bring our dog as well. Our dog absolutely loves it too! The cabins are very nice and clean. They have everything you need here!!! It’s so peaceful here and the golf course area where the dogs can run is just superb! I find it so amazing how dog friendly they are! There is so many different species of birds etc. I also used the restroom shared bathroom while waiting for our cabin. It was so clean!! The owners here are doing a fabulous job and they are so welcoming. We will definitely be back ❤️

When my boyfriend, daughter, dog Bella and I decided to do a cross country trip during the COVID 19 Pandemic, Yosemite was one of the places at the top of the list. This would be mine and Bella's 2nd trip to Yosemite and I felt we had to stay at Sierra Meadows again. Great location, new cabins, clean accommodations terrific staff. Perfect place to stay while visiting Yosemite. When we originally planned our trip, Sierra Meadows was fully booked. The 2020 fires were not kind to the area and when a cabin opened up due to cancellations, we jumped on it. Fortunately, Sierra Meadows was safe and we had no smoke issues while we were there. Sierra Meadows offers so much for families with kids, adults or single travelers. On my solo trip in 2018, my family was a little panicked when they couldn't reach me because there is little to no service anywhere near Yosemite. When they called the front desk looking for me (and Bella), the staff made a point to come to the cabin to let me know they were concerned. Clean, comfortable, great location. Sierra Meadows is the place I will stay for every Yosemite visit!

When I was planning this trip, I wanted to stay somewhere near the city of Ahwahnee, close to Mariposa. I didn't realize that to actually get there, we'd have to drive around through Oakhurst. The property is quite a ways away from anything, built on the grounds of a former golf club. I envisioned a tranquil green space with a luxury clubhouse and a lodge. What we found was more of a campground of unkept brush, a closed clubhouse, and a hot tub and pool with no heat. There is no lodge or hotel building, just a grouping of Quonset huts and house trailers. I knew that I booked a room with a shared bathroom......thinking it would be down a hallway......but I find it's actually .......outside.....down a path......NO! I can't do this! Wasn't I paying attention? Check-in here was completely online, so I had no one to discuss options with. We couldn't get our cell service to work, so I called the emergency phone number. Soon a golf cart comes down the path towards us. I explained that I couldn't deal with the bathroom being so far away. I could just imagine getting up one of the many times I get up at night and running into a bear as I walked over to the bathroom. The caretaker suggested we upgrade our non-refundable reservation to a "cabin" with a bathroom. Having no options, we upgraded and were instructed how to use the keyless door entry system. Once inside, our room is very comfortable, and actually, kind of cute. I'm sure young families would love the bunk beds in the tiny second bedroom, and the kitchen facility. We actually had some food with us, so the fact that there was no food service or grocery anywhere around us was okay. Other guests were outside grilling their dinners. The clubhouse and pool were down the road, we drove over to find the clubhouse locked up. The pool was open, but the heaters weren't working. Once I got over the fact that I was paying almost $275 a night for this place, I relaxed and tried to enjoy the surroundings. Where was my sense of adventure anyway? I vowed to pay much more attention to my hotel booking in the future. We saw the few other guests who were out enjoying the grilling and the free bikes, actually enjoying the campground-like surroundings. In the end, it was all very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the wifi worked! There is no way I would have made an informed choice to pay this much for this location, but I'm sure there are others that would have found even the detached huts without bathrooms charming, it's just not for a senior that needs a bathroom close by. You would really have to WANT to get away from everything, and I'd prefer a more upscale property for my money.

Our family of six rented two cabins while visiting Yosemite and we loved it. The location is reasonably close to the south entrance to Yosemite and very close to town of Oakhurst which has several restaurants and stores. The cabins were very clean and had everything you could need. The pool was super refreshing during the heat wave that we experienced while in the area. They also provide a wealth of information about staying in the area including restaurant recommendations that were spot on. The best thing was communication with the owners/managers it was spot on. Highly recommend.

Sierra Meadow was the best place to stay for us as we were looking for a place to rest and work for a few days before heading to Yosemite. I definitely recommend it, it's super quiet and relaxing and the staff is amazing!

Very clean, comfortable cabins. Extremely helpful hosts even during pandemic times, excellent remote communication. The cabins are well stocked and after a whole day of hiking it is very nice to come ack to a cozy bed and lots of hot water. We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights on this beautiful property. Will come back again.

We stayed here this past week with four other families. We are a school pod of friends and all really needed to get away. One of our moms did a search for places to stay after reading about how this could be the best time to see Yosemite that may not ever happen again since they were limiting the amount of people in each day due to COVID. Along came Sierra Meadows. Located about 20-30 minutes outside of the entrance to Yosemite. Cabins are brand new and clean. Wifi was amazing...I worked from there two of the days and our kids were able to connect to their zoom classes without a problem. Everyone who works here is AMAZING. There is a golf course across the way that is no longer in use so our kids rode their bikes over there during the day - unsupervised...#70sKIDS...exploring and playing like kids should. All of the cabins are the same size but configured a little different, meaning the 2 BR is the same size as the others so the "living area" was a bit smaller than other but they all were perfect in there own way. We are already planning our next trip here. I want them to be successful which I know won't be a problem but wish this could stay our little secret. We didn't bring our dog but this property is super dog friendly. The coffee provided was DELICIOUS! We had to get used to how to make it but once we did it was simple and worth it. There were a few things I wish I had in the cabin - a measuring cup, a toaster oven and a large bowl...now I know to bring my own. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

This place is pure magic, secluded away from the real world.  Once you get here you would think you are in a magical land, mixed with nature, wildlife and peace all at once.  I came with a group and our kids are part of a Pod.  We had the kids bring their laptops, extension cords and canopy and they got to work.  They worked during the day, then went biking, small hike through the retired golf course across from the cabins afterwords.  We even did a night hike!  Once you're here, you don't ever want to go back into the real world.  The staff are friendly and more than accommodating.   The cabins are clean, just have to remember they don't have an oven, just a stove top.  Full size refrigerator, microwave and even a tea kettle. Silverware, cups, plates and pots and pans.  They even have a coffee beans and a grinder in the room!  We will be coming back!
