we stayed at the rosewood for 4 nights and had a wonderful vacation. the rooms are large and luxurious and the grounds are well maintained. the steak house was very good. the beach is beautiful but requires a 10 minute shuttle. my only “complaint” is that the hotel is somewhat isolated. you cannot walk to anything. which may be nice for couples who have no interest exploring. personally i prefer a hotel that is well appointed but also within walking distance of restaurants and bars outside of the resort. there is also a beautiful golf course at the hotel so if you’re a golfer it’s a great perk but i’m not so that wasn’t added value for me. if i go back i would look into the hamilton princess which seems to be equal in luxury but located on the water but right in the middle of town. that is not a knock on the rosewood which was very beautiful just a personal preference. if you do go to the rosewood skip the sunday night buffet at the beach. it’s overpriced and the food is well buffet food i’ll leave it at that.

My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and 40th birthdays, and we are so happy we chose The Rosewood for this very special occasion. The entire hotel feels like a relaxing spa, which is exactly what we needed during our stay. The staff and management go above and beyond to make your stay special and the service is outstanding. We did the Sunset to Star Gazing dinner which we highly recommend as the food and service were impeccable (Vikram, our server was wonderful). The deep tissue massage at the Spa was the best I have ever had. The rooms are modern and beautifully decorated and the landscaping and grounds are stunning. Yes, you have to take a very short shuttle ride to get to the beach, but we hardly ever had to wait for a shuttle and if we did, it was not more than 5 mins. Any time we left the property to go to Hamilton or other hotels we found ourselves missing our Hotel. Highly recommend!

This hotel is undeniably beautiful. The staff are exceptional - we particularly loved meeting Hannah, Christian, and Sari. They took great care of us! The staff here work very hard and are genuinely happy to be of service. An important thing to note about this hotel is that it is truly tucked away and not really convenient to anything. You are close to the airport, crystal caves, Tom Moore’s jungle, the Swizzle Inn, and Bailey’s ice cream, but it’s at minimum a 35 min walk to get there if you don’t take a cab. If you want to stay somewhere and not need to leave the property, this is a great option for you. In my opinion there are more conveniently located properties if you want to do some exploring without spending an arm and a leg on transportation (assuming this is a concern for you - it was for us). Pros: -Everything at the hotel is tastefully decorated. The grounds are well kept and the views are stunning. -The pools are beautiful and the hotel’s private beach is undeniably gorgeous. I could have spent my entire trip in a lounge chair on the beach. -The golf club is a fun spot to spend some time hitting balls at the driving range, which is free to use for hotel guests. The pro and the staff there are lovely too. My husband golfed 9 holes on Monday and said the fee was reasonable and the course was great. -The property is secluded, serene, and peaceful. -The conservatory bar is a beautiful place for a drink. The performer who plays on Fridays and Saturdays is talented and a very nice guy. He chatted us up and we enjoyed his set. -Breakfasts at Island Brasserie were delicious. I do wish the large coffee pots held more than 3 cups of coffee -We had dinner one night at Sul Verde (at the golf club) and everything was fantastic. We were seated earlier than our reservation because we stopped in to ask. Unfortunately I do think there are some areas that need attention. For example, the showers in the ladies’ locker room are severely rusted over and it was unpleasant to use. The room we stayed in was immaculately clean but you can tell there are certain things that need attention - for example, there is some rusting at the outer base of the tub and the baseboards need to be repainted (I promise I’m not a person who inspects the baseboards - it’s just very obvious). The shower handle in the tub was not functional and leaked everywhere. I think there is room for improvement on the punctuality of the hotel’s shuttles. Walking around you could find random things left about (a pair of flip flops, someone’s leftovers, and, oddly, a bottle do contact solution). We were apparently supposed to receive a welcome cocktail and did not. I do not recommend visiting the gift shop for anything (a single can of ginger ale is $6 and one of those cute decorated shortbread cookies was $16).

Awesome!!! Yolanda, the concierge, was THE BEST! I highly recommend this place and will return again! The beach club is nice as well. It is only a short ride to the beach. The service makes this place and the rooms are large. Perfect spa! This hotel would be great for couples as well as solo travelers.

Dear Trip Advisor, We just got back from the Rosewood Bermuda. I’m thrilled to report that the resort is 100% “back” and I could not be more pleased with the service, amenities, food and experience. Under Marlon’s exceptional management, the team is happy, positive and always to serve in the best interests of the client experience. The bar in the lobby area makes exceptionally stiff drinks, the restaurant and room service is serving phenomenal culinary treasures (and the best wahoo fish sandwich on the island).

My husband and I had the most wonderful time celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary at Rosewood Bermuda. Everything from the delicious cuisine at every restaurant, caring staff, and beautiful property was top notch. My husband also enjoyed his time playing golf at Tuckers Point and we also loved our massages at Senses Spa. Despite an incoming hurricane the week of our stay, the staff made sure all guests needs were still taken care of safely, and normal operations (outdoor dining, beach and pool) resumed as quickly as possible after the storm. The beach and pool properties are absolutely stunning and you can tell the staff takes great care in maintaining it. We had reserved a private beach dining experience on the day the hurricane and the concierge was able to move our dinner ahead a day and we had the most incredible and personalized service during our Sunset to Stargazing dinner. We also were able to partake in the complimentary Rum Swizzle Cruise before the end of season and that was another highlight. Shuttles ran very often so we were able to enjoy a lot of the property during our stay with ease. We look forward to staying at Rosewood Bermuda again!

We are global travellers who vacate around 16 weeks every year as a family of 5 and this was our first time in Bermuda. Wow what an overlooked destination and Rosewood hotel is the best place to stay on the island by far. In fact its one of the best family hotels we have stayed in this part of the world including North America and the Caribbean Sascha Hemmann has created a fantastic team who cannot do enough to ensure your stay is memorable and accommodating of all your needs. In the 8 days we vacated here we never heard a ‘NO’ or ‘Cannot do that’ from any of the friendly and attentive staff The location is simply fabulous with numerous choices of pools and the wonderful beach. With golf, tennis, sailing, watersports and kids club all on site yiu will never want to leave ! The sea is beautiful and the landscape simply delightful with stunning beautiful properties strewn along the coast If you are looking for a truly fantastic experience put Bermuda on your bucket list and don’t stay anywhere else - you will not regret staying here It’s simply awesome to find a holiday destination such as this that ticks every box when so many others fall short with todays staffing challenges

I would be the first person to tell you that Bermuda is a gem and that having Rosewood on the island has got to be a positive. However, there are two critical elements that make a great resort - location/physical "feel" AND service/execution. We have been to several Rosewoods and have loved DC and Silicon Valley and others - we definitely believe this resort has the ability to achieve greatness. However, GemCom, the actual owner of the real estate, needs to invest more money in the golf course as well as step it up on critical amenities. The actual dwellings are located on the harbor side of the island - warmer, more humid air but lovely nonetheless. The beach club is THE GEM of Rosewood Bermuda - gorgeous beach, great pool and restaurant. Perfect. The golf club was suffering through a drought although, next to Mid Ocean Club, it looked like a two-bit public track that was mowed by goats. Consistency is everything or nothing, when not consistent. We love Bermuda - the people are fantastic and the island is amazing. When paying $500 for dinner for two with a moderate bottle of wine, however, Rosewood needs to be amazing too. It wasn't. And that is just too bad.

When reflecting on our time from last year, I could not have asked for a better occasion by the service and setting that Rosewood provide. Serge was a dream to work with and it felt natural all the way around. The team went above and beyond and even during a pandemic, made things feel normal.

Stayed at the Rosewood August 1-5 2022. We had a solid stay and the resort is very nice. Stayed in a 1 BR Suite and had our own golf cart. The cart is a nice touch to get around the property as the beach/tennis courts are not located near the hotel. There are a few restaurants to eat which is nice as you do not have to leave the resort if you do not want to. Found the rooms were recently redone which was very nice. The furniture was new. However, the paint, walls and flooring had signs of wear and could be retouched and updated. I want to point this out but it's not a show stopper by any means. The new-ish furniture makes up for it. I knew the pool(s) were not located at the beach but that would have been nice. There is a small pool at the beach but the other two pools are located at the hotel. Last, I thought the food was pricey for what it was - but then again, Bermuda is pricey to begin with. I played tennis on 3 out of the five days and had a great time with the tennis staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Had a great hitting partner (kayla) and the older gentleman was great to take tips from. The courts are clay and well taken care of. I'd absolutely consider coming back as it was a very pretty resort.
