This little two star hotel is next door to the home of Miguel de Cervantes and is in the heart of the historic part of Alcala de Henares. We stayed in room 102 which overlooks the street. It is a small room with a good bathroom. The double bed is small but comfortable. The room is spotless clean. The check...

Really love staying in this quiet and lovely hotel. BELLS! What a treat -- and yes! Spain is a wonderfully friendly, chatty, caring country. Fast wifi -- lovely breakfast and the family also runs a new and sleek tapas bar around the corner with carefully creative updates to the old classics.

This is the best secret restaurant in Alcala and Madrid for quality and service. We don't stay at the Hostel itself for business reasons but we have dined there for the past 5 years whenever we are in the locality.Traditional Spanish service with the all the excellence that always provides. After 5 years I will let you know about this...

It was nice to find on the no car street but you could drive up to unload. Nice room, only issue were school bells in the morning but the whole town is full of schools. Location was great. Stayed for three nights. Location is perfect for access to old Alcala de Henares and only a ten minute walk to the main train station with 40 mins to Madrid. Hotel is half a block off Calle Mayor which has all the shopping and restaurants you can ask for. Hotel was clean and staff super friendly. Very patient with our...

Few hôtels are situated in the middle of the (UNESCO Heritage site) old town. The hotel is simple, comfortable, and the staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. It is situated only 50 meters away from Cervantes' birthplace and several bars and restaurants are within easy reach when you walk through the old town. Although not a business hotel...

This hotel service is better than any five-star hotel in London. I have enjoyed every moment of my stay here, the staff are brilliant. I have been here for 4 wonderful days and I hope to return as soon as possible. I would recommend the restaurant as the food is impeccable!!! Especially the steak!

Visited during the Semana Santa specifically for parades etc. very good choice as the hotel is on the route of most parades. Friendly welcome, efficient staff, good value breakfast. we understand from locals that the restaurant is excellent but we did not eat there as we had other places to go, but certainly it is popular with locals. Hotel clean...

We had two rooms for 4 nights in March 2014 to visit my niece who is studying at the University. Great family owned hostal in a convenient part of town . Communication prior to our visit was good - a little slow at times due to our english language barrier, but Miriam will reply as soon as she is available....

A very centrally situated hostal to see the sights of Alcala de Henares, a place well worth a visit to see the architectural splendour of this interesting place, just round the corner from Cervantes birth place. The hostal had a nice homely feel to it and the staff were friendly and atentive.
