“9QUEENS” represents our latest contribution to a long lasting reputation of therapeutic hot water springs for indoor/outdoor use on wellbeing and body healing in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Our main concern is to provide relaxed holidays for everybody. The proper use of minerals and substances contained in natural spring hot waters, which are well known since antiquity, makes “9Queens” an excellent wellness resort. We make the best out of experience, acquired by four generations since 1890, in welcoming people who become healthier when leaving our Spa-Hotel. We offer accommodation services and relaxation programs throughout the year. We have succeeded in creating a homely atmosphere for visitors just wanting to rest and rejuvenate themselves over a short visit or a long holiday period.

On south edge of Loutra, nice spa but water not nearly hot enough, hotter in free baths downtown. Wifi wonky in the rooms, usually not strong enough until evening. Didn't think massage very effective, on site spa overpriced, we didn't bother.

We are older couple and got a great deal arriving after holiday weekend for a wed-thur night stay. Because Greeks still practising covid isolation needed to book the thermal jacuzzi, steam room and pool in one-hour sessions; no problem, as this gave us the facilities to ourselves. We both had massage; no issues; massage was well done and thorough. Room easy to access via lift; only stairs at front of hotel, though there is a stair lift if you want to wait for it. After 3 spa sessions, notable improvement to walking (suffer from arthritis); lady who looked after breakfast and reception said 21 sessions needed for maximum benefit. Breakfast hot offer changed daily; lovely. There were 7 or more (maybe 9?) jams/marmalades on offer; home made Greek specialities; toaster for toasted cheese/ham etc., lovely yoghurts/cereal etc etc. Few taverna etc open March 11/12 but enough. There are free spa pools on beach, help yourself; nice in the snow!

I cannot believe someone had the guts to open this can of worms. I noticed the message from this lady Sophia commenting on her experience. I had seriously hesitated to post this earlier, but this is exactly what happened to my fiancée. And I had questioned her in the beginning. Our masseur was the owner of the hotel. He would make so many uncomfortable comments to my lady from day 1, so she would not feel safe to visit the spa premises alone. Randomly he would touch her inappropriately and would not quit if told off. Continuously pressurizing her to have a massage by him and when had one his hands were all over the place. He violated areas of her body he was not meant to touch and look at. Frightening experience. Come forth if you have experienced the same. You need to speak out. My best man wanted to visit them with his girlfriend and I told him to stay away. Do not pay attention to the positive feedback. There is a pattern there if you notice. Speak out if this is what you have also experienced. Do not remain silent. My lady often has panic attacks due to this incident. No worth it guys. Be careful.

Serious safety incident
Terrible spa experience..I had a massage session with one of the two masseurs (the tall with brown hair guy) who sexually harassed me during the session as he touched and grabbed several times my ass..NOT THERAPY WISE. In addition, the masseur was making inapropriate comments about my tattoos. I know very well how the massages are being done and even thought all the personnel tried to convince me that this was part of the therapy, I know, as we all know, that this is not true..Strangely this therapy didn't apply to my guy friend who had also a massage with them..Therefore I am denouncing this hotel not only for violating parts of womens' bodies but also for lack of professionalism all the way. Of course they will try to prove you wrong but please always share these kind of experiences with the supervisors because it's very very common!

Excellent small size hotel with clean and relaxing environment, hospitable personnel, amazing breakfast and breathtaking views. Owners of 2 thermal springs offering sauna, jacuzzi, pool with waterfalls plus body treatments. Close to shops and tavernas is ideal. Highly recommended.

Just spent 2 nights in this amazing village in the north of Evia, hot springs running down from the mountains to the sea, creating natural pools where we could bath, next to a beautiful beach with clear waters. This lovely hotel has nice rooms a thermal water jacuzzi, small hammam plus an outside pool that we could use until late evening, making it the perfect place to relax and regenerate. Friendly and kind stuff took good care of us during our stay. Some amazing fish tavernas in the area and many cafes by the sea where to spend good time with friends. Loved it all and will be back for a romantic week end next time!

I visited this small hotel with my wife for a couple of days. The room was nice, clean and had all the necessary amenities. The zacuzi was nice and the little pool with therapeutical warm water just acceptable. Breakfast was excellent, I am sure that one may not find such a variety of good food even in more expensive hotels. The personnel was so helpful and friendly . The spot the hotel is situated is within walking distance to the center, just a nice walk by the seaside. One may also visit some other places of interest quite nice such as the DRYMONAS waterfalls or the very nice village of OREOI by the seaside. I enjoyed my visit very much and I would like to share this nice trip with some friends too another time.

We visited Edipsos for the first time and stayed in 9 queens. Very nice place with feeling of home, small and cozy. The owner is present around the clock and takes good care of customers. Delicious greek breakfast with eggs, tomatoes, cheeses, cold cuts, home made pastries and jam, yogurt, fruits etc. Outdoor swimming pool with warm thermal water can be used free till very late, indoor jaccuzi and hammam - for a small additional fee. Location is very convenient, not in the immediate center, but close enough, 3 min walk 🚶 to beach with hot Springs. Rooms are rather large and comfortable enough, 2nd floor has partial sea view due to apartment building in front of the hotel. The only small thing is Shower cabin, which has a curtain which clings to your body every time you take a shower!! Everything else is perfect for a 3 star hotel. Will go back any time! SMALL WARNING ⚠ FOR THE FIRST TIME VISITORS: Last Ferry boat from Arkitsa to Edipsos leaves at 7 pm, so be sure to be there before that. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours if you are driving from Athens airport. If you are late, there is no other way to get to Edipsos.

Dear Marina, it was very kind of you to write your detailed comments. Concerning your info about reaching Edipsos from Athens, please note: a. it’s true that last ferry from Arkitsa Port is at 19:00 in winter, b. last ferry in summertime is usually at 21:00, c. there are more frequent and special late services (until midnight) on busy periods, d. it’s important to check with ferry schedules online beforehand, e. in cases of late arrival to Athens airport, or just wanting to enjoy the scenery of North Evia driving all the way, one can reach Edipsos from Athens airport at anytime by car (200km ~ 3hours) through Chalkida city. It is true that some shower curtains curve inward because of the temperature difference inside and outside the shower; we apologize for the inconvenience. The problem usually does not occur when the curtain leaves a small air gap at the edges, but we have already changed the curtain with a heavier one. We appreciate your time devoted to write your comments. Thank you and we are hoping to see you at “9QUEENS” soon.

Very friendly staff, amassing breakfast with local products, very nice hotsprings facilities. Very cozy and friendly. We enjoyed every moment with our 2 months baby. The center of the town Edipsos is 2 minutes by car where you can find nice tavernas at the coastal road. We will definitely visit the place again.
