Beautiful place closed to beaches, excellent food and service, amazing staff. Nothing was difficult for them. Always with the smile. We will be back for sure, to visit the FARM and Krabo. Thank you Margi
I was very disappointed from the overall hotel experience. The pool and the restaurant were very dirty and did not have any covid safety measures. The restaurant did not have any antiseptic at the tables. The overall was so bad that I left the hotel, without staying for the night. The only good thing in the hotel was the receptionist which were very understanding and hardworking.
My absolute favorite hotel in Athens! All about this hotel is amazing! Even the smell when you walk in. Stay here every time im in Athens.. The roms have everything you need and more! Cleaning is spotless! The food is amazing! They had a potato sallad with squid that i still have cravings for.. Pool area is just fantastic! Even if its full there is still a chill and cool vibe.. Walking distance to astir Beach and Crabo.. If you want to explore the center then its a 20-30 min taxi rude depending on traffic.. My forever hotel in Athens
The Margi is a little gem in a magical neighbourhood, which many visitors to Athens easily overlook. The staff were very professional and took active measures to mitigate Covid. The food was delicious and the room had great views of the pool as well as the sea. Highly recommended!
Overall we loved our stay. Booked through BA Holidays and got a very good deal for B&B in a superior room. We travelled as a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teenagers and booked 2 rooms. Location of the hotel is fantastic. Close to the beach, approx 25 mins from the airport and the city. We were upgraded on arrival but even so the rooms & bathrooms are small. I found it slightly annoying that only one of us could be in the bathroom at any one time and whilst there is a huge built in wardrobe, you cannot open the bathroom door if someone is standing by the wardrobe, again a bit annoying when getting ready in the evening but a minor frustration in the scheme of things. Spotlessly clean though and the beds are huge and very comfortable. Pleasant neutral decor. Housekeeping does a great job and the turndown service is a nice touch. Breakfast is a la carte and is delicious. The service is excellent - Thodoris was charming and remembered my coffee preference after the first day. The hotel was busy when we stayed which means it was difficult to get an outside table past 8:30am. Same goes for the pool loungers which are 'reserved' by guests early - we resorted to sneaking down before breakfast with towels (not good, I know)! It would also be better to have more sun loungers with adjustable backs as there are only 8 of these. The dining area by the pool is absolutely lovely as is the bar area. Great choice of drinks and wonderful cocktails. The service is what sets this hotel apart, it's warm and friendly and there's a lovely atmosphere. I also liked that the guests were a mix of different ages and nationalities. Another bonus is the proximity to Glyfada where there's fantastic shopping and a wonderful choice of good quality restaurants. We took the subway from here into Athens which was very easy although the station is not near the main shopping street. Balux House Project in Glyfada is also a good set up although beach service here was painfully slow (admittedly out of season so not all parts were open). The location, service and pool scene at the Margi are all things that would make us want to return.…
