There is a lot about this hotel which is excellent. The staff are wonderful, the decor lovely, great toiletries and towels and the food great (especially the breakfast pastries). Unfortunately it is let down by the size of the rooms, especially the shower only bathroom (2mx3m) which is smaller than most Premiere Inns. The bedroom is filled by the bed with little space to move around it. All rooms, except the suites, appear to be the same size and seem to be differentiated by how much of the sea is visible. The pool area is fine but compact but there is a lack of available shade.
We have booked the Junior suite. We couldn't sleep since it is located at the first floor, street side above the entrance: buses, taxis, motorcycles... we have asked for a room downgrade to Superior room. Smaller but much calmer. Pool is great. Breakfast can be better. Room is modern and cozy.
We stayed for 3 nights at The Margi while visiting family in Athens and our experience was positive. As others have mentioned the rooms over looking the pool are noisy at night but it didn’t keep us awake. I probably wouldn’t want to stay in one with small children. The rooms and bathrooms are small and quite basic. Only one person at a time in the bathroom! The positives are a lovely pool area , we never had a problem finding a lounger. The food is excellent, we had one evening meal here and really enjoyed it. The best thing about the hotel is the service, it is excellent from all the staff.
This is our first time visiting Athens , a friend of us recommended the hotel. Amazing service nice pool and a peaceful atmosphere. Special thanks for mr. Konstantinos ntzoufras for his help and professionalism. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.
We booked 5 nights at the start of May.2022 in a Deluxe room based on so many good Reports we had read , the first impression was not too good the Hotel looks more like a left over from the 70/80s, but the interior was very nice and clean, the check in did not go well either due to the problem of explaining the rules in English which was an uneasy situation for us both, but the biggest disappointment was to come the breakfast was à la carte not buffet, which is the first time we have experienced this in 20 years from a 5 Star Hotel the personal were very friendly and did their upmost to please. The rooms are Ok but old and nothing Special, the Pool looks very nice evening’s but there are simple not enough Parasols and are also too small, so if you are relaxing with 2 people as was the case with us one person gets a sunburn and her is a warning for people over 50 the nights are very loud on the pool, Wi-Fi is free of charge but 50% of the time does not work, I’m so sorry to have to give such a negative report but with the very high prices and bad services The Margi need a wakeup call.…
We stayed here on a company celebration event . Wow it’s gorgeous!! Everything is good quality , clean and very smart . Toiletries are lovely . Buffet breakfast- literally had everything you could want . Staff were efficient and super friendly . Pool area was great . We ate breakfast and an evening meal around the pool bar - it was lovely . There’s a hop on hop off bus stop right outside and a public bus to Athens just a few minutes away . Lots of lovely restaurants and beaches within easy walking distance . We had an amazing stay !!

My family (parents), my husband and I stayed in the Margi for 6 nights during the end of August to 1st week of September, for our much delayed wedding (that was held in Island). It felt like peak season as the hotel was full of people at the time of stay. This is our second time staying in the property and we loved the stay. Staff are efficient; food was wonderful and tasty (they have their own farm). At the time of stay, breakfast was a-la-carte service which we preferred. Cocktails were fantastic. Parking was well looked after by the team. There is a supermarket about 7 minute walk which is convenient. Concierge was fantastic, they managed to organise (very last minute!) large dinners for me- thank you! We stayed in both the standard room as well as an executive suite. The rooms are overall on the small side so perhaps opt for the suite if space is an issue/you intend to stay in the room a lot. It was fairly lively at night so it was slightly noisy around midnight if you head to bed around then... Overall we were very happy with the hotel and would happily stay again.…
We recently stayed at this gorgeous boutique hotel on the Athens Riviera. We stayed for seven nights. The hotel itself is extremely pretty with a lovely pool area, bar and outdoor dining on the terrace. The breakfast was good and dinner very good. The hotel is a short walk from a pretty beach and 30 minutes from the centre of Athens. The staff are delightful, and nothing was too much for them. Service in every sector including the waiters, bar staff, reception, valet and not forgetting the maid who cleaned our room she was amazing. The music is not played loud, they have great music playing this is rare and I applaud there music policy. If anything, the music was played a little to low for my liking. My girlfriend adored the hotel, its not cheap but you get the service from concierge to entrance. The Margi is a hidden gem and one we will most certainly return to. Well done Team Margi…
