Should have done this a long time ago, writing in feb 24, visitied oct 23. Most low-key awesome place we've at which we've stayed. Everyone so kind and attentive, can't thank them enough. Breakfast is a treat. As is lunch. Thanks especially to Stavros, Sofia and Marilyn.

Spent 3 days here. It is located at the quiet end of a one-way slip road, a short walk from some world class waterfront restaurants, the beach, a super market, pharmacy… anything you need. Private parking is available right at the front of the hotel.
The service is fantastic, it was my girlfriend’s birthday the next day and the concierge arranged for flowers and personally went to pick them up to ensure they arrived in time! They also arranged for us to spend the day of the birthday on a mini road trip to their sister hotel further south down the coast, using the amenities for the whole day, private beach and spa. They made it such a wonderful day that my girlfriend said it was the best birthday she has ever had.
This is the best hotel in Athens, in the best suburb in Athens. It is decorated in a contemporary style, with only 11 rooms, it gives the feel you are staying as a guest in a modern mansion. The breakfast they serve is truly out of this world.
Overall a superb experience.

From the moment you check in, the service is amazing. The amenities and special touches exude personal attention to detail. A great choice for staying here en route to the international airport (they provide a free transport to the airport). The rooms have everything you need - state of the art.

We just arrived from an amazing vocation in ‘Somewhere’ hotel in Vouliagmeni. This very modern and designed boutique hotel has very affable staff which try to do the best for us but there was one critical problem which they couldn’t solve.
The hotel is located right next to a main road and the noise of the car is unbearable. It also didn’t help when they gave us a room in a higher floor (the hotel has 3 floors and all its 11 rooms are facing to the road).
‎‏Although we very much enjoyed our staying in such a beautiful hotel with such a courteous staff, it is hard to give a good recommendation when you can’t sleep well.

Dear Michal, thank you very much for your balanced and fair review of Somewhere Boutique hotel Vouliagmeni. We are glad you felt that hotel deco, premises and amenities are well done. It's something we have worked hard on and we are pleased our efforts resonated with you. Regarding the road noise, altough Vouliagmeni is a serene area there might be days where noise becomes an issue. Our newly built hotel offers soundproof windows in all rooms. We hope this event has not negatively affected your stay. Thank you once agaoin for placing your trust in us and your willingness to share. Wishing you a lovely summer ahead! Best, Ellina Kyziridou

We were due to stay at the hotel for a long weekend 21-24 August , to attend the wedding of some dear friends , however , as everyone across the globe knows Covid 19 spoilt many many happy plans. We contacted the hotel in July to simply ask if we could postpone our stay until safer times next year as my husband has severe asthma and could not risk the travel etc . We received a very unsympathetic reply, greeting us from sunny Greece , very patronising , then informing us that this was a no cancellation booking ! They did not offer any alternatives and did not even acknowledge the request to simply postpone , it was a straight “no, you should have read the terms etc” they even invoiced us for a “no show “!!!! The Groom from the wedding who is from Greece even rang them to explain our situation, so we emailed them again after that conversation, but they were equally dismissive .

We were extremely disappointed and upset as even the airlines were offering alternatives !!! What a dreadfully hardfaced attitude they have !! Our advice to future expectant guests is to make sure you read the small print very carefully and do not expect any empathy from the hotel owners !!

Dear Renata, We carefully revised your review and case. With Covid 19 establish into everyday life, travelling patterns have adopted accordingly. The fact that you chose to change your travelling plans couple days prior to arrival, let us with no room for action. Having thoroughly read the correspondence over the matter, i strongly disagree that the tone or the context was patronizing. It was a clear answer on the rate plan you chose to buy, that allows no cancellation flexibility. A flexible rate would be more applicable given the special conditions. Sincerely yours, Alkis G.M.

Clean comfortable family run hotel with kind and pleasant staff always keen to make your stay enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfasts were generous in portion size and high in quality with freshly squeezed juices and good coffee. The room was large with a huge comfortable bed and housekeeping kept the room and bathroom clean and well stocked. There were comfortable cabanas at the hotel poolside and the hotel provided us with beach towels and booked taxis as required.
On the weekend the air conditioning was too quiet to drown out road noise from the local boy-racers and so the hotel put a fan in our room to create some white noise to help us sleep.
We considered our stay to be great value.

Nice hotel, staff, everything was excellent for a 1 night stay. Room accessories, plugs, dimmer switches and sun on balcony with ample seating was perfect! The breakfast included with our stay was one of the best amongst the 3 other hotels we visited this trip. Service and warmth of food was top notch, well done! Basket with your yogurt, fruit, muffins , granolas and mixed breads Portions were very good so there was less we felt was going to waste. The poached egg Benedict with smoked salmon & hollandaise was delicate and light. The buttermilk pancakes with strawberries, cream, dollops, Carmel and maple syrup- so delightful. it was perfectly balanced in presentation and flavors, not overly sweet or overwhelmed by toppings. Will consider for a longer stay when exploring this side of Athens!

Dear guest, thank you for sharing your amazing feedback with us and the community. So happy you enjoyed the in-room innovations. Let us proudly say that Somewhere is an awarded smart boutique hotel, as it contsantly upgrades its tech character. It is an honor you considered our breakfast to be the best you had during your stay in Athens. Credits are passed to our executive Chef, Konstantinos Gontikas who would be extremely excited to welcome you again sometime in the near future. Next time we highly recommend you try our croissant french toast, so heavenly delicious! Till then, wishing you a great autumn ahead! Kind Regards Ellina Kyziridou

Our experience was so different to our expectations... Firstly on a major plus side, this is a beautiful intimate hotel with lovely staff who wish to make your experience memorable. Its located in the very  buzzy area of town just off a very busy main road. We had a marvellous view of the bay.

However we had a terrible night's sleep due to the ongoing traffic that went on into till the early hours of the morning. We had read somewhere the rooms were soundproofed but the reoccurring highly revved vehicles constantly woke us up. It was a very busy bank holiday but this main road is always busy.

Secondly as it was March the air con was not available so a hot room made things worse.

We did not dare open the balcony window because of the noise.

I also found the mattress very uncomfortable and simply too firm. I know many reported a very comfortable sleep but I suffered with lower back pain the following day. This is a very individual issue.

Sadly the breakfast was also dissapointi g. The cooked food was excellent but at breakfast our fruit selection was limited to a bruised plum and a hard pear. It's a small hotel but more fresh fruit selection should be on offer.

The staff were very kind in wishing to try and resolve the issue but the noise was outside their control.

It is thus sadly impossible to give a good review.

What can I say? We arrived a little early for check-in but expertly handled by the exceptional Despina on Reception. What a polite, helpful and charming young lady. A real credit to the hotel. during the paperwork formalities, we were offered a welcome drink and then went to our room. This was very large (thanks to an upgrade) with a fantastic balcony overlooking the pool. The fixtures and fittings both here and throughout the hotel were absolutely first class. Lovely materials and very striking, modern decor made for a beautiful ambiance. But the best was yet to come....First morning at breakfast we had the most fantastically warm welcome from Stavoula. She then went on to provide the most outstanding service whilst delivering their new Covid style breakfast feast. She is a star. Our stay was quite brief but all staff that we came into contact with were amaing and the whole facility was immaculate. All Covid protocols were applied strictly and you could see the real effort that the staff were putting in to making things work seemlessly in the new world. During our afternoon at the pool Anton was always ready to serve, entertain and educate us on any and every topic. Do not hesitate, just book with absolute confidence. Three cheers for a superb team effort that delivered the ultimate hotel experience.

I spent 4 wonderful days at Somewhere Athens Vouliagmeni and they went too fast.

The staff is lovely, I’ll particularly miss that woman who served the breakfast for my sister an I every morning and would remember what we both liked. Her smile was contagious and she was so nice. 2 take away meals have been prepared for us the day of our departure as we were leaving pretty early at 6am which I thought was such a kind gesture. Nothing but peaceful vibes from the entire staff.

My first impression visiting Greece I must say the quality of food left me speechless - the breakfast at the hotel left me wondering about the level we have in France. Globally it was an amazing stay, I totally recommend this hotel!
