We were staying at this hotel for a few nights and had friends visiting from the neighbourhood. The reception staff made them pay 20 euro to enter the hotel and sit by the pool bar even though they spent the whole day there eating and drinking and spent over 100 euro. This hotel we have been too many times and most of our friends from the UK stay there but never had them charge a visitor to sit by the pool bar. We asked to speak to the General Manager but of course head of reception told us he would come and never did.

Hotel's Favorite
I wanted to take the time to write a review having arrived home yesterday from a 7 night stay at the Oasis Hotel Apartments as we had such an amazing time. Before arriving I had reservations having read the mixed reviews. We chose this hotel as we travelled over for a wedding and the hotel was between the Church and reception venue and also appealed to us as a family. We travelled with our 11 month baby. Despite a lot of the booking websites saying that cots were not available (therefore we took our own travel cot), we were offered one at the hotel and there was plenty of space to set our travel cot up within the bedroom of our suite. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the pool was busy with reasonably loud music (as it was on Saturday during the day). Our room overlooked the pool but the noise didn't bother us at all. During the week the music is chilled and quieter and cannot be heard from the room. A lot of the photos don't show the parasols around the pool - as we had a baby we were always able to find a shady area to sit around the pool. The main sunbeds are in the sun but you can get one and set it up in the shade if you prefer. There are also a lot of trees around the complex offering shade also. The pool bar and menu is extensive and we always found something to eat and drink. Thank you also to Giorgio for his special cocktail! The breakfast is served 7am - 10am and there was always plenty to choose from. The waiters even brought over food for our baby by their own effort and there were several high chairs available to use. They were all so friendly towards us and our baby, always making him smile and entertaining him! The hotel is next to the main road, and traffic can be heard - however it didn't affect us at all. When the room air conditioning is on the traffic noises were dulled and our baby actually slept through the night without waking each night (something he doesn't do at home!). The kitchenette area meant we had space to wash up his bottles and I could sterilise them with boiled water (there isn't a microwave but there is an oven and small hob). The beds were spacious and very comfortable and the room made up each day with fresh towels. Pool towels are provided by reception. Our room had smart TV's in both the living area and bedroom meaning we could log into Netflix / YouTube / Amazon Prime if we wanted. We used the tram quite frequently (tram stop about 5/10 min walk down towards the beach). It cost 9 EURO each for a 5 day pass and we used it to travel further up the coast most evenings to visit various beach bars in the Kalamaki Beach area. We also travelled into main Glyfada where there are loads of shops and restaurants (it's a 10/15 minute walk but it was very hot for us!). We also used it to travel into Athens which requires one change in tram lines but we found it easy to navigate. We relied more on Google Maps for the times, as at some of the stops the display isn't always accurate but we never had any issues, aside from the machines at lot of the stops being broken - we bought our tickets once we arrived in Athens and you just tap them in the tram on the contactless machine. The pavements aren't the best along the main road but we managed to navigate them fine with a pram. There is a pedestrian crossing just down from the hotel so you can get down towards the beach. There is also a supermarket towards Glyfada about a 10 minute walk where we picked up essentials for the baby. We also used taxis - either ones we jumped into or Uber also worked well. The staff really make the hotel - nothing was too much trouble, they made so much effort to make us feel welcome. We would love to return to the area and explore further next time. Thank you so much to everyone at Oasis Hotel Apartments for a very enjoyable holiday!

This hotel is lovely. Rooms/apartments very clean and tidy. Modern furniture - very comfy beds. Staff absolutely brilliant. Nothing too much trouble helping us organise trips out and advice. If you want self catering there is fridge, cooker, microwave but no cooking utensils. Pool is beautifully looked after but no sun brollies around beds only over seating areas. Pool doesn't open until 11am which we found an hour too late if you wanted to plan your day to include pool in the morning. Restaurant food was excellent and breakfast plentiful. Downside for us was the location. We couldn't actually find any Greek tavernas to eat at. The walk was about 20 minutes down the back road to Glyfada (the main road outside the hotel was like a motorway and badly paved). Masses of designer shops on the Glyfada stretch, we didn't actually find "a sauare" and even when staff told us where to find tavernas we found the exact tiny streets they said just to find buildings closed down. There were fast food places, French, Italian & Thai but we wanted traditional Greek. Very cosmpolitan area. Lots of coffee shops. The Hop On Hop Off bus stopped right out side hotel so we had a 3 day pass to travel into Athens, go to the beach on the Riviera side or to Piraeus for the evening. We also got a boat (organised by hotel) to Poros for the day. Loads of tavernas there and in Piraeus. We also downloaded the Beat App for taxis which was perfect.

In summary, the price for what you get at this place is very very good. The food was great, pool Is huge and excellent (very deep, be careful), and the staff is VERY friendly. The problem here is that after you pull up and see this place is old, you also soon find that the air conditioning in the rooms is just not very good, and there is no place to unpack any of your things. The town of Glyfada is amazingly vibrant with great restaurants and ice cream shops and shopping and a beautiful public beach is right across the street. So location is EXCELLENT. If your expectations are right this place will work for you.

We only spent one night and were disappointed. The location is good but the hotel didn’t meet our expectations. Too crowded in the pool area with loud music, very uncomfortable “extra” beds and poor breakfast.

We stayed as a family of four in a one bedroom apartment in September 2020. The room was fabulous. Immaculately clean and very modern. We had a small kitchenette, full size fridge, large furnished balcony, bedroom and 2 beds in the living area. Large bathroom. The hotel has a good sized pool which is very well kept with plenty of sun loungers and a life guard on duty. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good and well organised. Cannot fault the hotel at all. The hotel had extra measures in place to protect against Covid and we felt very safe. The rooms were serviced on request due to Covid and you only had to ask at reception for fresh towels or any kitchen equipment. There’s a tram stop a ten minute walk away right next to the beach. Glyfada centre is about a fifteen minute walk. We visited Aquapolis water park which was very good. Buy the 5 day travel passes they are great value for tram, bus and metro at €8 per pass. We would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it for a stay in Athens slightly outside the city centre. It takes around 45 mins on the tram to the city centre. Perfect for families!

We stayed here at the beginning of August. ALL STAFF were kind and nice and did their best to make our stay comfortable. This is not a perfect hotel but if you like hotels that are clean, tidy, comfortable rooms, good price and good breakfast with staff with character and originality then this hotel is for you. The swimming pool area is good as is the breakfast. The beds are comfortable.StRAtos the owner/manager is a great guy with a very GOOD heart!. He went up and above to show us such kindness and I get the impression he tries to do this with everyone in different ways. He gave us some jars of the most delicious honey just before departing the hotel and that gesture will stay with us for a very long time.. A good hotel, clean and comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Glyfada is gorgeous. The town has cracking restaurants, beaches and shops. Just walk towards the sea from and hop on the air conditioned tram which is two stops from the centre of Glyfada.

We have stayed in OASIS HOTEL APARTMENTS, in Glyfada, Athens, in the middle of July. The hotel was clean, staff friendly, good food, 3 fabulous swimming pool, very comfortable beds, large rooms, plenty of storage space, very efficient kitchenettes – anything you can dream off and more… The area is fantastic – a wealthy suburb of Athens, Glyfada has lots to offer and being close to the beach is definitely a bonus. Some fancy managed beaches are near bye, famous Lake Vouliugmeni just 8 minutes drive, the town itself has everything you need. Because of coronavirus it was a very difficult time for the whole hotel industry, but we did not feel it in this hotel. Staff and manager were incredibly friendly, always doing more than you could ever expect. We initially booked only half of our holiday stay in this hotel, but after the experiences we had, decided to not go anywhere else and stayed in Oasis Hotel Apartments for the whole duration. Hotel has a variety of facilities, we didn’t even had a chance to experience all it has to offer, but comfortable beds, good air conditioning and great views through the window, as well as easy parking right in front, was all we needed. Highly highly HIGHLY recommended.
