Detailed Reviews
Wouldn’t recommend.
Rooms with ocean view are right in front of a busy main road, which is noisy all day and night.
Next to the hotel there is a building site, so during breakfast you cannot sit outside in peace due to the loud banging and crashing at 9am.
There were ants all over the hotel room, particularly in the bathroom.
Service at breakfast was great however ironing board would randomly be taken out of the room and it would take around 30 minutes in the morning to get it back.
Buffet at breakfast was quite limited and very basic.

Very friendly and helpful staff, spotless room with balcony, very busy highway outside hotel so not quiet for sitting out, but double glazing means good nights sleep.
Breakfast was very nice, Greek yoghurt and honey is gorgeous!
Lovely rooftop pool and bar with drinks and nice food.
Tram into Athens is 2.50 euros takes about 35-40 mins, Uber for around 15-2 euros
No loungers on beach just an umbrella so take something to sit on.
Would definitely stay here again

A nice hotel located very close to the sea. It is easily accessible and close to all kinds of facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable and clean
There is a swimming pool in the top floor with a nice bar where you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view while having a drink or a snack
Definitely a good choice.

Had a lovely experience in this hotel, the staff were very friendly, all English speaking. The rooms are a good standard size, with a hair dryer. Clean and nice. We accidentally broke a cup and the staff were kind and came straight away to clean and replace it, no charge. Optional room cleans.
The roof top bar is lovely, not the cheapest but what you expect in a hotel. They do have some vegan food (burger, falafel and meatballs) didnt try these but they looked good. Normal menu was big for food and drink. Optional breakfast €10 per person if you want
The pool on the top is nice and cold, lots of sun loungers and chairs so plenty of room to sit and relax. Beautiful views.
To get to the beach you have to cross a main busy road which isnt ideal but there is a crossing a minute walk from the hotel. The hotel rooms have sound proofing doors so couldnt hear the cars at night, slept well

This is no way a 4 star hotel. The area looks very run down, very noisy and polluted. The hotel room had NO air con, we had to leave the balcony door open everyday but by doing this we got bit 7 days clean by mosquitoes which made it difficult to sleep and relax due to waking up with bites and the noise of cars all day and night. I’ve stayed in 2 star hotels and this was the worst. The drain in the bathroom was flooding every time we used the shower or bath so it was very difficult to wash, and the smell of the drain was disgusting. The rooms were very depressing the colour of the rooms were dark and I spent most of my time walking outside on the streets because I dreaded going back to the hotel room. The greek people that are born and bread in Glyfada/Athens are very rude, disrespectful towards tourists and racist. Even in Athens international airport they were very racist to us as we are English. The only good points about Glyfada is that they have a good range of high street shops that are local, a nice
Orthodox Church, and ok beaches. The beaches near by were polluted with plastics and glass! And they have a cheek to have a turtle Rescue centre near by that make you give a donation and “protect the sea turtles” when their beaches are not even cleaned!

We stayed for 14 days here and had a fantastic time. The room was air conditioned and cleaned every day by happy professional staff, the bar staff were above and beyond fabulous with a smile and banter however busy they were .
The reception sraff were very helpful and spoke very good english and even understood my scottish boyfriend!
The manager always had time to shake our hands and say good morning and check we were happy with the facilities.
The roof top pool had great views and was watched over by the lovely lifeguard (Magdalena) who ensured safety and cleanliness was upheld.
We would definitely return here and have nothing but good memories of our stay.

My best mate and I did 8 nights here.
Really CANT complain.
The roof top garden with pool has incredible views! (but windy sometimes).
Rooms a clean and cleaned daily.
5 min walk to the beach and tram which takes you into Glyfada.
About 25-30 min drive to the Acropolis and any pick up tour.. museum etc, which is less than €20 for an Uber.
Maria, Chris and Nick were so lovely, along side our initial female receptionist (didn’t take her name). She was SO helpful, showed us a local map, helped us book our retiring PCR test
Food was great..
Would go back in a heartbeat!!!

We have just returned from a 9 night stay at the Emmantina hotel. Overall we had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect as I was attending a college in Glyfada which was under a 10 minute walk.
Athens city centre is only 20/25 mins away. We chose the hop on hop off bus as a means to get around Athens ( reception arranged for it to stop outside hotel for us) it was a very enjoyable day.
Glyfada has plenty of shops and restaurants, we didn’t even get around the whole town during our 9 days. We found it had excellent choices of places to eat to suit all.
On arrival we were upgraded to a room with a sea view. We were on the 3rd floor and the view was beautiful. The reception staff were very friendly and helped with organising taxis and bus tours. The rooftop bar and pool area was the highlight for us. We had a 10 year old and older teenagers with us and it was a big hit with all. The views were amazing and they had a really good drinks and food menu at affordable prices. The staff at the rooftop were also very courteous and efficient.
There are a number of beaches within a few minutes walk. We preferred the Glyfada beach as it was more sandy, it was a couple mins extra walk but worth it.
Overall we had a really wonderful time and would recommend this hotel.

I just spent a week at the hotel an my friend and I really enjoyed our stay. The whole staff was very friendly and at all times helpful. They were always able to answer all our questions and for example recommended and helped us plan our trips to Athens - just ask for the ‚hop on, hop off‘ bus tour at the reception. ( It‘ll take you about thirty minutes to get to Athens by bus).
But apart from its excellent location right at the beach and close to the center of Glyfada, the hotel itself also has got a lot to offer. The breakfast buffet is good and if you don‘t want to leave the hotel for swimming or eating you can just go to the roof garden where you will find a pool and the possibility of ordering food at the bar. From this roof garden you can enjoy the view on the cities and mountains on the one side and on the seaside on the other side - which is very beautiful at sunset. The atmosphere up there is very nice and in the evening the roof garden turns into an amazing bar!

The staff were fabulous . The lady on front desk was a font of knowledge. Chris and nick were helpful and welcoming.
The half board let it down . Breakfast was a buffet style which was nice but the dinner was the same set menu every night with the basic 5 choices (not including salad) . The menu where people were paying for food nightly was different and had more variety. For this reason we ate very little in hotel in evening as for children all was on offer was a Burger and fries (which you can get anywhere)
The carpets on 4th and 3rd floor were awful yet 2nd and 1st were nice.
Bathroom cups were dirty with someone else's toothpaste .
Saying this location is fab for beach , 7 minuite walk to town . Worth walking up further out of Glyfada for more picturesque beaches .
Tram to Athens €2.50 return and you can get on and off as much as you like in 90 mins.
All in all area and staff were nice but dinner and pleasing to the eye inside above 2nd floor it was not.
Nice trip to Marathon. Lovely beach and €15 buffet . Quiet beach and town but history of Marathon and museum. Can't see how this made a 4 🌟

We always found a spot outside the hotel, but there is plenty of space on nearby side streets too. Not sure if there is a car park. Yes 24 hours reception.
The room we had did not have an adjoining room, so not sure about the rest of the hotel. As for the pool, it was chilly when we were there and did not get to use. I would guess it was chlorinated since the pool was on top of the hotel
Hi the buses run 24 hours from airport with the cost of 6 eur one way! There are two directions: Piraeus and Syntagma. To Emmantina you would need a bus or tram connection after coming to the city center
Hi. If I recall there is one at the Palmyra hotel witch is across the street. It's affiliated with Emmantina. I would call them and ask
Hope this helps.
