Hotel la Union was the third hotel we checked out. Being budget travelers we needed a good deal but was striking out with room quality. We found hotel la Union and it was a breathe of fresh air. Great price, view, friendly staff, wifi all for 30 dollars us. No a/c in the room we were staying but had a...

Not a bad place - we played 200 for a room looking over the lake at the front. A bit overpriced for a room without AC possibly, and although the view is fantastic there are lots of other hotels and restaurants / bars nearby with similar ones. Guy at front is nice, sells slightly overprices tours and transport. If you...

We stayed at a private room, first time on our trip i Guata with WIFI in room! Rooms were nice and clean, hot shower, but no breakfast. The owner helped us with a booking for Tikal (half price of what the tour-sharks in Saint Helen was charging!) and for Belize City

Hello, We stayed here for 3 nights, coming from semuc. The hotel is probably not the best one, but price is Q150 a night (private room). The beds, shower and room are oke. The view is beautifull. The noise would be te worst in the weekend they said, we didn't have any trouble with that.

Okay hotel. Nothing special at an average price for Flores. The location is nice, right at the Lake. Rooms are all right, reasonable clean, the bathroom is small. No travellers atmosphere nor attentive staff

This is a great budget option in Flores. Lake views from some rooms, or from the communal terrace areas. The rooms were quite big and cleaned daily. Definitely noisy, as others have mentioned, but most places on the island of Flores are going to have that problem, especially those on the lake, which is also the main road in and...

My husband and I were staying in Flores for one night and were able to walk-in and get a lake-view room with balcony for Q180/night. The room itself was spacious and clean, with two double beds, a private shower and yes, a fantastic lake view from the third floor. The room itself was comfortable, with good beds, fan and cold-water...

Location is nice because of the lake view but is surrounded by bussy streets and makes noisy and uncomfortable for sleep. Price was $20 per night for 2 people, hot water, tv w/cable, fan, no a/c, since it's a small island I would have chosen other less bussy location

The room are not so small but not so clean either. The main problem is the noise coming from the street during the evening and night. Also, it gets really hot at night without AC. The shower overflowed each time you use it. Moreover, there is no safe deposit.

Sept 2015 I walked in, was told 70 quetzals for a room. I signed the registry next to "70 quetzals" I paid with a 100 quetzal note and was given a key and wifi card, and in my haste, I didn't realize that I wasn't given my change. It took me about 10 minutes to realize this and come back...
