Very comfortable furniture, friendly staff, and homey feel. There are minimal amenities, but they do offer free wifi and have tv, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. At $45. - it was a fantastic deal. The best part was that there's a really good steakhouse next door, Red River Steakhouse, and I had the best steak of my life there. 8oz... More

We didn't do any research on McLean because we did not plan on coming through. We are on motorcycles and hit rain. All day long. We just needed to pull over. To my surprise, it's pretty much a ghost town. This motel was our only hope. Now, it's very old and outdated in many respects, but it was clean. The... More

My son and I spent one night here (reserved in advance but no credit card required - how cool is that). Lady at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. Room was big and comfortable. Pillows were a little flat (but there were extra pillows) and the art work on the wall left a little to be desired but... More

The inn was inexpensive and clean. Bed ok but glad I brought my own pillow. The issue was the door, it would not stay locked. Had to put a chair against it to keep it closed due to winds. Felt a bit exposed. The room never cooked enough for me. The shower was hot but hard to adjust the temperature.... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. Great steakhouse next door. We had an older tv but our friends next door had a new flat screen. Loved the rugs in the bathroom and the western decor in the rooms. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Pull up to the door after riding the bike all day, NO WHERE ELSE to stay in McLean....it has a note: Call (telephone number) clerk will be here in 5 minutes.... geez. I am not here for the nostalgic Route 66 ambiance. I want to get clean, eat somewhere and get some sleep.... 2 out of 3 was all that... More

Love this place, not much around but a perfect stop along Route 66. The rooms are very big, super clean and the staff is just lovely. A very good restaurant is a short walking distance away. Wifi and plenty of tv channels.

These places have all died off, all but a few and not many of those left that you would want ti stay at but this is the one. An original Rt 66 motel, well maintained, very clean and cheap. And right next door to the only dinner restaurant in town and it was great. Bbq beef ribs and sausage and... More

The room was adequate, but rather musty. It was missing a lampshade - too bad!; asked for ice - had run out but we could get some down the road. Not inclined to help. Untapped potential here but I suspect weekly rentals are easier.
