#1 of 4 B&Bs / Inns in Mason
The Red Door B&B has 4 individual rooms each includes a king-size bed, a sitting area, in-room coffee bar and private bath. Our concept was to make our guests comfortable in an "English Antique" style setting with plenty of books and magazines for a restful respite from the current daily rush. Many of our guests are business travelers who enjoy the quiet of our rooms yet stay in contact with their work utilizing Wi-Fi. We have also hosted several family reunion groups who find the space is very private and yet very accessible to all. We have owned and operated B&B facilities for the last 23 years and several of our guests have been returning to stay with us for several years!

Despite calling late at night we were met by a friendly voice inviting us to come to stay at the Red Door. Monica met us and explained what was available in the well-stocked refrigerator and cupboard. Breakfast was ours to design...up early or sleep in did not matter there would be plenty. The room was large and comfortable. Two big soft beds. Everything clean and tidy. I just wish we had had more time to discover the area and surroundings.

Red Door B&B in Mason TX is super clean and very comfortable. This hotel is very well organized and shows attention to details to make your stay perfect. They provide many breakfast items to cover all dietary needs....even Almond Milk! The rooms are large and have very comfortable kingsize beds.

We stayed overnight at the red door bed and breakfast in Mason this past weekend and it was spectacular. The room was beautiful and So spotless.... the bed was even comfortable!! We enjoyed Using the sitting area upstairs and also the balcony outside overlooking the courthouse and downtown. Monica provided us with a serve yourself breakfast to enjoy at our convenience (she’s a great hostess). We were left to come and go as we pleased and enjoyed lunch and dinner at Lea Lou’s and also a movie at the old theater. We would highly recommend this bed-and-breakfast to anyone and it is on our to do list again.

We had three wonderful nights. Monica and Brent were gracious, friendly hosts. The big rooms with high ceilings feel spacious. The lack of a TV was perfect for us and appreciated. Serve yourself breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. We enjoyed our time on the porch looking out at the beautiful Mason Square watching the vehicles go by. We also enjoyed the rain storm that came through town. Being right on the square meant we could walk to everything we went to for the Mason Chamber Festival. The annual craft fair was on so it was fun to see local crafts. We will certainly be back the next time we come for the Mason Chamber Festival. Thank you!

So glad we had a last minute room for y'all, we certainly enjoyed getting to know you and your musical family. The accordion and violin "practice" sessions were great fun also! We hope you choose to stay with us again on your next visit to Mason, Texas!

Just spent the weekend in the beautiful Texas Hill Country town of Mason. In the heart of this quaint town of 2100 people is the Red Door B&B. We were greeted graciously by Monica who gave us half an hour of her time to point out local attractions an activities. This B&B has only four rooms and each one is unique. As we were the first to check in on Friday afternoon, Monica told me to have a look at the other three rooms. We were in room #1 which was very comfortable but next time I will ask for #4 only because it has a jetted tub. I like that type of thing. There is a balcony running all the way across the inn which gives a grand view of the Mason County Courthouse. It is an excellent place to sit and enjoy a cool beverage as the sun goes down. The breakfast was self service which was good for us because we were quite busy all weekend. Do not pass on the homemade banana nut bread, The only thing that could have made our stay better was more time spent there. I will visit Mason and the Red Door B&B again soon. You should too.
