I cannot speak more highly of my husband and I’s recent stay at Tres Lunas. We spent a long weekend at the resort and before we even left we were planning our visit back!

From the moment you arrive to the second you leave, Tres Lunas’ magic envelopes your entire visit. We stayed in Zen Suite #1 and were treated to a beautifully appointed room with a slipper soaking tub, incredible views of the hill country, and a wonderfully large walk-in shower.

The pool, one of the property’s jewels, is STUNNING. Set with comfy lounge furniture, you’ll find yourself second guessing if you’re really only two hours from Austin! Pro tip: be sure to be at the pool at sunset for an incredible view set with blooming cacti, cotton candy clouds and a perfect reflection on the pool’s surface.

On our last night, we had a four-course meal in the Stone Chapel. Kelly, the owner of Tres Lunas along with her husband, is one of the best cooks I have ever encountered. Her biscuits will put your mama’s to shame! The four course meal was nothing short of delicious. Make sure to save room for dessert! The Mexican vanilla bread pudding and homemade ice cream was amazing.

Tres Lunas is everything you could want in a resort; delicious food, beautiful room, incredible pool, magnificent views, unbelievably sweet hosts and so much more! If you are looking for a beautiful place to unwind and unplug, you have to book Tres Lunas. I cannot wait to go back!

The road in is a bit rough but everything else was smooth! Food was delicious and very filling. Bed was comfortable, shower had great pressure and high quality soaps, room and facility was very clean and organized, pool was clean and working, lots of cushions and chairs to have quiet moments, and service was friendly and quick to answer questions. It’s about a 20 min drive to Fredericksburg and there is so many fun shops and tasting rooms!! I highly recommend this place. My husband does not like country much and he had a wonderful time too!! A classy way to have a ranch getaway!

The easiest way to review Tres Lunas is to say that absolutely nothing was not wonderful. Hosts Kelly and Brian were as affable and warm as you could want. Brian's got great yarns about all kinds of life experiences (He talked about places that were so humid, you could bend a cracker). They both make it look easy, chatting with you as if you were neighbors, but you know they're managing things at the same time. Both can really cook. You order fresh caught salmon for dinner and you get wild Alaskan salmon caught by Brian himself. The view from the hot tub and pool (and our Zen 1 room windows) out to the valley is like none other. The sunset and stars are included for free. The dogs Loopy and Wiley are a really nice addition to the hospitality. We opted for massages in the courtyard by Carissa. If you want to be in the middle of God's country, this is it.

Kelly and Brian are amazing hosts, and that's where the good stuff starts. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Lots of room to walk and relax. The pool is inviting and cool, with a view of Loyal Valley, along with nearby ranches. There are ample opportunities to sit with a libation of your choice by the pool and observe the Deer as they work through the pasture. We had four fantastic meals while we were there, the highlight being Kelly's Breakfast Tostada tied with the Pork we had on Friday- Im sort of bummed we didnt try her pizza! The bread she makes is fantastic as well as her Pasta. Kelly went out of her way to make sure we had some nice touches to our stay. The Kemps are good people, and they run a wonderful place. If you choose to stop in please make sure you give Wylie and Lupita a scratch and a pet for us.

My husband and I wanted to spend the weekend relaxing away from work etc. so looked for a secluded B&B - found it! Kelly and Brian are very welcoming, non intrusive hosts and their dogs are adorable. Plenty of space on the grounds to find a spot and read a book, enjoy the scenery or spend the day in the pool. My husband and I chose Pool Zen room #2. It is spacious, with a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Very convenient to the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was great and filling, set the day off well. We had the optional 3 course dinner the second night and it was well worth it! Food was amazing. Just a side note, we were there mid October and the pool is crisp and a bit too cool. We used the hot tub more than the pool. There is nothing for miles until you go into Mason or Fredericksburg so if you don’t bring it (snacks, booze etc.) it doesn’t exist. We enjoyed our weekend and found it very relaxing, highly recommend for a quiet weekend away.

This place is amazing even if a bit off the beaten path, which I am a huge fan of. The fact that they provide a lovely dinner for you, mind you at cost, is well worth it to be able to go and relax and not worry about anything but spending time with your loved one. The setting is wonderful with a great view and the lack of light pollution makes for a great time in the hot tub seeing all the stars as well as shooting stars! Brian and Kelly do a wonderful job and ensuring you have everything you need but not so much that you feel like it's over intrusive. We will definitely be repeat customers as they are well worth the trek!

Wife found this Oasis where we spent 2 nights. Visually majestic. Infinity pool will captivate. Room were quaint and furnished well. No TV's because you don't need them, they do have wi-fi access. Owners are down to earth, pleasant, and wonderful. Both Kelly and Brian (owners) are down to earth, friendly, and when you meet Brian, ask him about story time, he has some of the best stories about life, liberty, and opinions! The greeters are their fur babies, will escort you around and inside the property, so loving and well behaved. Dinner and Breakfast is additional but delicious. Our plans are to revisit them again in the Fall. You will enjoy and fall in love with the area. Definitely high on the recommendation list. You will do yourself a dis-service to not experience this.

We just spent a wonderful couple of nights celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary at Tres Lunas. Everything about the place is perfect, from the abundant home cooked food, to the perfect rooms and most hospitable hosts, to the adorable family pets who just wanted to lounge with us all day. I would not hesitate to book again and look forward to returning soon.

We stayed a few nights at Tres Lunas in the Zen Suite. This visit exceeded our expectations. The serenity and beauty of the property and the surrounding nature was exactly what we needed. The owners are gems- so incredibly kind and entertaining! Kelly and Bryan are wonderful chefs and they take phenomenal care of the property. It’s spotless and the amenities are perfection. Do not pass up the dining options— well worth it. I wish we’d done dinner both nights. Also, they have sweet dogs that are a highlight, loved them! We used the hot tub and really enjoyed the views. Drove 30 minutes into Fredericksburg which is always nice, but honestly wish we spent more time just enjoying the property. Will be back, will stay longer! This place is designed for peace, relaxation and to get away from the busy day to day. We were spoiled and left feeling so content and recharged. Can’t say enough good things! Also, Bryan gives great advice. 👌
