Beautiful place. Requested to stay in the hotel but was given the newer casitas room. They were very pretty. They all face a courtyard with gorgeous flowers. Trees. Birds sing the minute the sun comes up. No televisions so be prepared for peace and quiet....More

There are casitas and king rooms with fireplaces, so I think they'd do romance nicely. Our casitas had a kitchen, but no dining facility. There is a terrific restaurant on site, and they will send meals to rooms. Terrific... More

Better bet is either the Elizabeth Taylor or Rock Hudson suite at the El Paisano Hotel in Marfa. This is where the two actors stayed when they filmed Giant a good many years ago. Hudson's accommodation is impressive... More
