We snagged a last minute reservation at this hotel. At first, we were in a second story room with no elevator. One of our party has difficulty with stairs and they were more than happy to put us in a different room...which was huge! Very clean and comfy beds...what more could one want!

The facility is older and could use some updating. The location is good - easy access to Texas Tech, shopping and dining. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and we liked the way the dining area was set up because it encouraged staying and enjoying the meal instead of rushing to get out. The staff was very... More

This hotel was nice but it felt like a motel not a hotel. There was an atrium so when we walked out of our room we were inside and the pool and bar/lounge was in the atrium. But it felt to me that the hotel might have been a motel at one time and when we opened the door we... More

I stayed one night with my spouse and two children. The room was unusually large and looked over a large interior courtyard with a pool and open area. Things are clean but not particularly updated. The price was a good value. There are possibly more plants in the interior than I've seen in any hotel. When I checked in, there... More

Had higher hopes for a Clarion but should have gotten a clue from the empty parking lot. Front desk was friendly enough but as mentioned in other reviews, the A/C unit is useless and noisy; way outdated for the level of property. Toilet needed two flushes to work properly. Included breakfast is a plus, but I've had much better sleep... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Clarion in Lubbock numerous times and have always like the hotel. Although the prices have gone up we had still decided to stay here since we like the room and the location. This last stay was so disappointing! Our room had a toilet that was old and did not flush properly. Maintenance... More

We recently stayed here for a baseball tournament. The hotel is very outdated. The hotel has rooms accessible from the outside and inside of the property. We got a room accessible through a breezeway. It was a large room, which was nice since we were staying for several days. Breakfast was included with our stay; however, the hotel set up... More

Thank you for your review of our hotel. I apologize your stay was not what you expected. We did actually set up a breakfast in the atrium but only to make it more convenient for the teams on time constraints. The food was the exact same food that we serve in the restaurant. I hope you were able to at... More

So, I've tried to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt as I've been staying here now for several days and have several left. The hotel was built in 1974 and is showing its age. I can't say that anything in the hotel has been updated/upgraded since, because it is so tired. I'm traveling with a group of 10... More

Thank you for your review of our hotel and also for the reviews from other guests. I apologize for your experiences. I am aware of the DND signs that were placed not only on your rooms but 25 to 30 others. I can assure you that it was not done by the housekeeping staff but from a group of kids... More

Do not stay at this hotel. It is outdated, in need of repair and has the worst service. The front desk staff was dismissive of concerns and the Director of Operations clearly does not believe in the old adage about the customer always being right. Overall a terrible experience, probably the worst I ever had. Go elsewhere!
