I went to Lubbock to visit my godchild at Texas Tech. The hotel is fairly close. The parking lot was empty when I pulled in. Should have been my first clue. Check in was slow but friendly. The first room I was given had holes in the walls and the air conditioning did not function. Second room was better (no...

I've stayed here before because of the low price and close proximity to where my daughter was living while attending Texas Tech. I've just returned after staying there and am greatly disappointed, to say the least. This place is clean for the most part (a decline from previous stays) and, what I especially noticed this time, in need of repairs...

It was ok. The thing not ok is the couple checking in ahead of me paid $15 less than I did. That burnt a bit. The desk clerk would not give me the same rate. This second part of the trip is much better now.

We have always enjoyed staying at the Guesthouse however, we are beginning to notice a decline in the upkeep of the rooms, especially the bathrooms. The last two visits we noticed that the floor was really dirty especially behind the door and under the sink counter. Really disgusting considering how clean the rest of the room seems to be. We...

I paid 300. To stay two nights here. The staff called me to get a credit card if I was not arriving by 6pm, that should have been my first clue. Overton is worth the price. Brief list of issues. Lobby has paint literally peeling off the ceiling, elevator hasn't been cleaned in a good while and looks as if...

I am really surprised about those who gave Above Average or better for this hotel. I am by no means a "socialite", but I can certainly tell you that this "inn" (do not call it a hotel) is well below average. We were drawn in by the cheap cost and the proximity to the Covenant Medical Center. We walked into...

I booked the hotel through Expedia. Manny, hotel's manager, called me and I gave my credit card to her to hold a room. I told her I will be there in couple hours. When I got there, she said she gave my room away. She claimed that Expedia relocated me which was unheard of to me. I called Expedia and...

We are traveling with 2 dogs and this hotel does not charge an extra fee and they also gave me a room near an exit on the first floor as I requested. The lobby only had one clerk and she was overwhelmed on a busy Saturday. The room is plain but clean. It did have a musty smell but once...

Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!I would rather sleep in my car than visit this place again. I never write reviews, and this place was so atrocious that I felt it would be wrong to not warn potential customers of a place that is unclean, unprofessional inefficient and has extremely poor customer service. I made reservations online and the hotel "Accidentally"...

“Very disgusting. We were given our rooms on the 3rd floor. The bedding had stains that looked like urine and never washed. Blood stains were also on the sheets. Long hairs were all over the inside of the bedding and sheets. We were given new rooms after what we found and come to find out the new rooms we just as bad if not worse. The front desk advised us that the 3rd floor was never used to book people in and still needed to be renovated. Not sure why we were given the rooms but warning if you decide to stay check the rooms before you purchase!!!!!!!! Also they have no replacement bedding and lights also do not work.”
