This is my third stay at the Overton and I am overwhelmed by the kindness and service of the staff. From Patricia in housekeeping to Isabel serving me breakfast to Star behind the bar, everyone cares. From the top down, can’t think of a hotel that better executes the hotel experience.
This hotel was great. I have have been bouncing around Lubbock, looking for a comfortable stay. Everyone at this hotel made me feel very welcome. Lauren at the front desk (Marie as well), Shae in the lounge, and the cleaning crew made my home away from home. I will be back next week.
We had the same shuttle driver twice for morning trips to and from the airport. Both times he wore his mask down around his chin where it was not covering his nose or mouth while in the van. This is a blatant disregard for passenger safety.
Stayed here two nights for a seminar for work. Super impressed with the hotel - it was very nice, clean and updated. In a great location with food in walking distance. Rooms were spacious and the conference center was very nice too. Staff was friendly. The only thing I didn't like, and this was just due to COVID, was that you had to be let into the gym and they had limited hours.
This was our second visit to this hotel....and we were very pleased! Rooms are very nice and roomy. They are also very quiet! Because of COVID, we did room service for dinner and breakfast! We will stay here again if in the area! Very friendly staff!
