If you are visiting Texas Tech, this is the perfect hotel as it is just across 19th St from the university. During my business trips (usually not during football season), the room price is very reasonable - typically less expensive than the hotels further away...More
First I want to call out the friendly front desk and personal, they are top notch and have nothing but good things to say. However after we checked in and wife pulled sheets back it was pretty apparent the sheets did not get changed as...More

Excellent hotel and really enjoyed staying here. It was above my expectation and the morning breakfast was really good. This would be my place to stay hereafter, whenever I visit the city! Good service and good staff.

Very nice comfortable hotel. We started with a Queen sized bedroom suite which was a bit small for my large husband but the staff kindly moved us to a King which is super. Very spacious, well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean, good breakfast and very welcome...More

My son and I went for a college visit, and there were events taking place during that weekend as well. The airline price jumped up about $100, but the hotel honored the price I was quoted online. Staybridge Suites is just across the street from the university, and if you're in good shape, you can actually walk up to the corner where the crosswalk is and walk onto campus. It is quite a long walk, though, and we went in February, which was surprisingly COLD. We had to go back upstairs for another layer before taking the hike! If not, Ubers are readily available. If I were you, I would definitely call the hotel you're booking to make sure the price you pay online will be honored once you arrive. Good luck, and have a nice visit!
