My husband, two kiddos and myself stayed two nights at this bed and breakfast while visiting family in Llano! Such a lovely place to stay! The beds are comfy, towels are soft. The place is Quiet, clean and breakfast was delish!
Several years ago while searching the internet for Bed and Breakfast in the State of Texas I came across the Sandstone Street B&B. I added it to a list of favorites on my computer. We finally had the opportunity to plan a trip to Llano specifically to stay at this beautiful B&B. We not only fell in love with this beautiful home but also the City of Llano. We toured the Red Top Jail, Courthouse, Museum and ate some delicious food. Virginia and Jack are excellent hosts. Breakfast was delicious each morning. We enjoyed relaxing outside by the fire pit and visiting with Virginia and Jack in their beautiful landscaped yard. We stayed in the Langford Room which was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Hopefully we can plan a return trip to enjoy this beautiful home and lovely town soon.…
My husband and I needed a mini vacation and this B&B fit the bill beautifully! The Walker room’s king-sized bed was even more comfortable than home. Breakfast, cooked and served personally by Virginia, was delicious and generously proportioned. The home is beautiful and inviting. I would definitely like to stay here again!
Sandstone St B&B is so charming! Virginia and Jack were so delightful. Virginia LOVES doing what she does, and is very good at it. Our room was beautiful, beds were so comfortable, many amenities to make our stay comfortable. Their home is historic and preserved SO WELL. We had Afternoon Tea and again, Virginia provided such delicious food! She is a woman of meticulous detail, making our time so very memorable. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you, Virginia and Jack, for such a wonderful stay!
This is our 3rd time staying at Sandstone Street B&B. There are 3 rooms and we tried them all! Jack and Virginia Walker are excellent hosts. They can recommend places to go, eat and sites to see. The B&B is super clean. The beds are just the way we like them, plenty of hot water and the breakfasts are so good. We recommend this B&B to everyone. Can’t wait to return! Mike and Mary Zobel
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. The Sandstone Street Bed and Breakfast is beautifully done, well kept, with thoughtful touches throughout. The garden is lovely and the wrap around porch was relaxing to sit or rock in the rocking chairs. The Walkers are such gracious hosts. My favorite was the afternoon tea we had on arrival. I was glad we skipped lunch, because Virginia puts out a spread fit for a Queen. It was absolutely delicious and almost too pretty to eat. Breakfast every morning was satisfying and just as yummy. This is NOT your standard continental breakfast. Virginia is a great cook. We took their advice to visit a local cave, and had a lovely day. I can truly say this couple goes above and beyond to make your stay pleasant and comfortable in every way. I can't imagine a more charming place to be. Thank you for a delightful weekend!…
My wife and I booked two nights here for our first post-Covid trip. We had a great time. We tend to use these as a base of operations and not spend too much time at the location. In this case, it's really hard to find anything we didn't like. The building is beautiful and well maintained. The hosts must put a huge amount of time and effort into it. The bed was comfortable and the hot water heater worked great. They also take the breakfast part of Bed and Breakfast seriously. You get a full sit-down breakfast every morning, cooked by the host. Both of the mornings we ate there the food was superb. Llano is very nicely located so you can get to other parts of the Hill Country easily. We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away.
A friend and I booked to stay here for a girls weekend. When we sat in the living room the smell of skunk was coming up through the living room floor from the crawl space. The owner was asked about the smell. She acknowledged the presence of the odor. When we went upstairs to check on the room, a roll away was present as requested, and it did not currently smell of skunk. We went to supper and came back for bed. At 1:49 a.m. I was abruptly awakened by the smell of fresh skunk permeating the entire room and bathroom. There was not away to improve the room's sickening smell of skunk. I finally put essential oils on my hands and got in bed with my friend to get away from the window. I slept with my hands over my mouth and nose to smell the essential oils. At breakfast when the owner asked how our night was, I shared the above experience. The owner stated, "He must have been having a little fun!" REALLY??? I shared that skunks inside the city limits were dangerous and could carry rabies. No concern was shared over this situation, no discount was offered, and no apology extended. I cannot recommend this facility secondary to the owner's lack of concern that a skunk was living under the house and on the premises. I am wondering if the "night of fun" will produces baby skunks that will also be living under the house. I will not be returning and cannot recommend.…
My daughters and I booked the Walker room for a weekend trip. The room was very comfortable and perfect for the three of us. Virginia and Jack were so hospitable and the breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend!
This place was everything we wanted for a weekend getaway. Virginia and her husband were so sweet and accommodating. The breakfast was perfect and filling ❤️. The peaceful garden was a great place to rest and relax. Outstanding service. We will be back.
