Beckoning guests with lakeside diversions of sailing, boating, fishing and water activities across 65 miles of lakeshore, the AAA Four Diamond Award resort, named the No. 15 resort in the Midwest by Condé Nast Traveler and the only resort on Lake Travis, boasts a boutique spa with significant lake views, a pool playground featuring an adult-only oasis with swim-up bar and a zero-entry family-friendly pool with waterslide. Extensive meeting and event space includes an impressive glass ballroom with stunning vistas from every angle.

One night solo get away to Lakeway before group tubing trip In New Braunsfel. Delightfully peaceful poolside with beautiful visuals of Austin’s landscape and sunset of the lake. Is it expensive maybe…but worth every penny. You have no need to leave the resort casual dining available. The staff is outstanding everyone goes out of their way to give special treatment. I will be back to enjoy the spa as well on next visit.

Hotel's Favorite
Great weekend getaway with the kids. The service was excellent at the pools, restaurant, and bar area with friendly/smiling staff. The room was clean and the hotel appeared to have been recently remodeled. The kids especially loved the heated pool, and the parents loved the warm and welcoming bar area!

The resort is right on the lake and was so relaxing for a two night getaway. My husband and I had the king room with the balcony and lakeview, which I recommend. We had a nice view of the lake and even saw deer below our balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the room was so quiet- we never heard any noise from the hallway or other rooms. The pool area was really nice with an adults only pool and swim up bar. The pool overlooked Lake Travis and was a relaxing place to spend the day. Lakeway Marina is about a five minute walk away. We went there and rented SUP boards. They also have kayaks and boats. The only thing we were disappointed with was the food in the Back Porch bar. We ordered calamari and received a small amount of nickel-sized rings of calamari. The resort fee is pretty high too.But we do want to go back to the resort.

What a beautiful resort right on the lake! My husband and I spent 4 days here and had a nice, relaxing vacation. I definitely recommend the lake view balcony room for the beautiful view. We loved having the adult only pool with the swim up bar. The restaurant had delicious food and the spa was amazing! The only thing I wish we had was an early checkin. We arrived early but weren’t able to check in until 4pm so we just hung by the pool until then. We’ll definitely be back again!

we visited the Spa and got different services although booking the same service (one of us was cheated of some services, very disappointing. And nothing to be done about it when I inquired about the differences in our services. Also, we ate in the restaurant and had very slow service. I would spend my money somewhere else, I left feeling a bit cheated and disappointed with what we spent there.

The room was ok, the bathroom was pretty small and the bed was ok. The room was clean and the view from the balcony overlooking the lake was nice. The biggest disappointment was paying a resort fee for what was just a hotel and a pool. The swim up bar was closed the entire visit and was part of the reason we picked the hotel in the first place. The restaurant was good, but was out of many of the menu items. They had very slow service at the pool with one individual just walking around very slowly and not actively taking orders.

The photographs in the website paint a false picture. It is a glorified Hampton Inn with a view (if you pay extra). This was supposed to be my birthday ‘vacation’ and it was anything but. All rooms still have popcorn ceilings; $600/night for an uncomfortable bed, a small tub and mold in the bathroom. We were compensated a mere $300. The food and service were subpar- way overpriced, food was terrible and the staff needed a lesson in hospitality. I have more choice words for our stay but I’ll sum it as spend your money elsewhere!

The food is okay, the service is okay, the rooms are dated. The only plus side is the view of the lake. The management is poor and the owner will refuse to respond. I would avoid this resort as there are many more options in Austin or the surrounding areas.

My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend get-away and had a very nice time. The pros: dining was excellent. We ate all but one meal the Lakeway and the food was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Outdoor pools very nice. Massage at the spa pricey but good. Workout room small but nice. The cons: My husband found the bed uncomfortable. Room was okay—clean but plain. The lake views are beautiful but there is really no where to hike. Overall, if you want a business meeting, wedding or simply a quick get-away, I would recommend. Again, the staff was very very nice.

The property is great. Location is really cool. It is all just really dated. The pool is the focal point and it looks awesome in the photos. It is OK. The pool is missing a lot of tile and needs repair. Things need repainting, wallpaper peeling and looking dated. Rooms remind me of a semi updated comfort inn with a killer view. The restaurant reminds me of a small town country club from 80s it was nice in its day, but it’s day has passed. The food was very average for the price. The staff was all very nice, but I need more than that when I am paying what I am paying for this place. The positive is that my daughter had a ball, so mission accomplished. I just expected much more. Hats off to the photographers!!
