I rented a lovely comfortable cabin with a Jacuzzi tub! The breakfast the next morning was delicious! (And large!) Over by the pool there was a wonderful view of the hill country. Just across the way from my room there were a couple of cute donkeys and even some goats. I recommend this to anyone wanting the perfect relaxing get...

We have stayed at two different cabins here and both were very nice. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are clean. We've been here twice with our dogs and they really loved it. The goats are the cutest lawn mowers!

We have been going to the hill country for our anniversary for 30 years. Trails End is certainly one of my favorite places. Have stayed there twice, once in the upstairs room and another in one of the cabins (sorry, I don't remember the names of either) but had a great stay both times. It might throw you off when...

I recently had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at Trail's End. I was a little nervous based on some of the reviews. What I learned is some people must just need something to complain about! My stay was beyond wonderful! I stayed in the Southwest room. It was quite large. I was most impressed by how clean it was....

I booked this for my Mom's birthday. Two of my siblings & myself decided to take her to Fredericksburg because she had always wanted to go. This location is about 25-30 minutes out of Fredericksburg & was out of the city so we thoight it would be just the place. It was great for us. We stayed in The Retreat...

We stayed in the southwest room and had a great time our 2nd night as a married couple. Despite being connected to a larger house, unlike the other cabins offered on the same property, we nevertheless felt like we had all the privacy we needed. Huge portions for breakfast, delicious, and home cooked. I would recommend starting the hot tub...

I went online and found some places in Fredericksburg, Tx I liked, but she found this place. Upon driving into the property we weren't expecting much, but room was nice inside. Exterior of property needed some repairs deck, tree...

My wife and I chose Trails End for our 21st Anniversary weekend. We couldn't have made a better choice. If you are looking for a commercial, ascetically perfect destination, look elsewhere. If you want a relaxing, tranquil setting that is also beautiful, look no further. We had the pleasure of staying in the Southwest Room which was appointed nicely and...

Really enjoyed our stay. We arrived the day after Christmas and we were exhausted. The room was immaculate the food was heavenly. Everything we needed was right there and did not have to ask for a single thing. Can't find anything at to complain about except it was cold and that was out of the owners control. We plan on...

average to poor would be my fair evaluation. Rural - Absolutely. Out of the way - yep, even with the directions in hand I would not recommend trying to find it at night. If your looking to be out of the city this will work. If you are looking to be in and out of Kerrville you should be used...

Got quite a chuckle reading this one. The guest who submitted this review alerts any future guests with this advice, " If you are looking to be in and out of Kerrville you should be used to hilly country driving." Well, we are in the Texas Hill Country and we are 5 miles from town. Just to get to Kerrville...

“There are several stand alone cabins away from the main house if you cherish your privacy but we stayed directly adjacent to the main house and it still felt as if we were there alone.”

“The Sleepy Time Cabin has a separate sitting area and bedroom, each with its own tv. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo (not a jetted tub.) The Hunter's Cabin has the cutest décor... it's also a very cozy cabin. The Tuscan Barn Room is the one closest to the main house; it has a very nice closed-in patio area for sitting and relaxing.”
