We have stayed here three times and are never disappointed. Desiree is very nice, and David's food is amazing. If you're looking for creature comforts, this is not the place for you. The cabins are simply furnished, and just plain cozy. The Writer's Cabin has a hottub, tv, and dvd player. It is always clean, but it's simple...and we love...

We booked through Booking. com. Read all of the reviews. Looked forward to staying and enjoying the hearty breakfast that was raved about. When we got confirmation letter, stated that no food would be served. I called and questioned this and asked for a compromise. Desiree yelled and screamed at me and went on and on about personal problems and...

This place is disgusting don't stay here! Our room was awful and it was a waste of our money. We wanted to leave after we checked in but there were no refunds! Everything is old and outdated and worn down! The morning breakfast was disgusting. Not your typical yummy bed and breakfast cuisine. Everything was drenched in oil. They couldn't...

My husband planned a much needed 4 day getaway for us with a stay in a cabin. The cabin was spotless and stocked with some basics. We much enjoyed sitting on the back porch breathing in the fresh air. Desiree, the owner, was very friendly, and her breakfasts were spectacular. They arrived right on time each morning, hot and homemade....

This place is really run down, and the person in charge is rude. The rules for the place are VERY strict and the place is not that good.Sofa bed is old and advertice for 8 only has 2 beds. I would not stay here again.

This is a great place to stay. They are very accommodating and supplied us with everything we needed. Beautiful hill country surrounds this place! Will definitely be back. Oh, the breakfast is amazing!

We spent a weekend staying in the Retreat cabin with our 2 children, aged 8 & 1. We used our GPS to find it and it was easy, even in the dark. The cabin was spotless, and the beds very comfortable. Everything we needed was there, including shampoo etc. Desiree (and their beautiful dog!) delivered us breakfast with a huge...

If you're looking for a getaway nestled in the woods of the Texas Hill Country, consider Trails End Guest House. Located five miles from Kerrville, Texas, guests have their choice of log cabins or rooms. Views from the outside balcony of the Southwest Room where we stayed were excelled only by the view from the pool area. The owners of...

This place is really run down. We stayed upstairs and the tile is all cracked, bathroom unfinished drywall, no shower just a hot tub with a hose. Breakfast just comes, there isn't any kind of selection in what you get. It's like a ranch hand style breakfast what happens if you don't eat meat and you get two large pork...

“There are several stand alone cabins away from the main house if you cherish your privacy but we stayed directly adjacent to the main house and it still felt as if we were there alone.”

“The Sleepy Time Cabin has a separate sitting area and bedroom, each with its own tv. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo (not a jetted tub.) The Hunter's Cabin has the cutest décor... it's also a very cozy cabin. The Tuscan Barn Room is the one closest to the main house; it has a very nice closed-in patio area for sitting and relaxing.”
