Staying at Alouatta is probably the best decision you can make during your holiday. It has everything you would want. Great atmosphere, fantastic owners, super clean/comfortable accommodation and facilities, delicious food and drinks, friendly staff and the other guests all seem to be happy and engaging. Also there are always cool animals and birds visiting the property. Highlights for us were: troop of howler monkeys passing through the trees 3m directly over our tent as we were waking up in the morning, super rare anteater walking directly up to my wife during yoga, tree frog, humming birds, toucans, pizote, and iguanas. Basically, if you stay here and don't fall in love with this place then something is wrong with you. Thank you Misha!!! Love from Jay and Fjorenca

Quaint chill zone close to a nice quiet beach with a left point break. The location is good but the tent life was even better. The owners were exceptional and I would definitely stay here again. The puppy was a bonus :)

We stopped for drinks when we found out this was actually a hostel / campground. We ended up staying for 2 nights because the atmosphere was just too good. Went to watch the sunset on the beach together with the owners and other guests, and had a lovely barbecue the next day. Nice calm beach just a short drive down the road (walking distance) with a great walk up to a viewpoint. Clean amenities, quiet place, just perfect. Best shower I had during our month in Costa Rica (and most were actually pretty decent). Go here!

This is a place where you must stop. The couple who runs the place is sincerely welcoming and makes you feel at home. We slept in a tent and had an iguana as a pet on the tree... I was in love with this place the first moment I stepped in. Do not miss it!

We found a very nice postcard of Hostel Alouatta in another campground in Costa Rica, we saw the website and we fell in love with that lovely place! Accommodations are beautiful, clean, surrounded by the dry forest of Nicoya Peninsula. It's the ideal place for people who want to reconnect with nature! And the two guys that own that place... just perfect! Nice, helpful and always with a smile on their face.. because you can see that it's what they love to do! It's really a nice detour from the busiest Santa Teresa and a great reference point for people who want to discover Nicoya Peninsula.
