We reserved two rooms. One was ok, but very musty. Mine was incredibly dusty and smelled of cat urine. The quilt and throw pillow on the bed were stained. The pillow I had didn’t seem fresh, so I looked in the cabinet. Two were in there but both had heavy yellowed sweat stains. We expected a few amenities like a hair dryer, but it was a very bare bones operation. Entrance to the rooms and the checkin spot were heavily mildewed. The leaves could have easily been blown off the walkway to our rooms. The hosts were very friendly,But I would rather have had a room that looked and smelled clean. Breakfast was eggs Benedict, but mine was cold by the time it got to me. This could be a great place with more attention to detail.

Oh we had a marvelous time, our motorcycle club members took over the whole place and our hosts were fantastic, they catered to all of our needs. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, each day was something different. The bed was super comfy, I slept like a log. The gardens were so pretty, and the outdoor cats, Biscuit and Bacon were so friendly, I actually miss them!! The room was decorated with antiques, and had the perfect old world charm expected of Jefferson. We will be back for more fun same time next year!
