This was our second trip to Azalea Inn after trying multiple other places all over. We have never found any other B&B's that pay such particular attention to detail. From the stocked refrigerator and snacks in the parlor to the homemade candy, chilled sparkling cider, coffee bar, and even ear plugs in the rooms. The place is very safe, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The bed and pillows made me not want to go home! The shower was very hot with excellent pressure and the breakfast was absolutely amazing and served to us in our room. We will go back time and time again, there is no need to go anywhere else.

My husband and I recently returned from a 3 night stay at The Azalea Inn. Ditto, a thousand times over, to all the wonderful reviews for this property.
The Inn is amazing in every way. The Perry Room had everything you would need. The room was spotless, bed was so comfortable, flat screen TV, in room coffee pot, etc. Valerie, the owner, has thought of everything. Her attention to detail is extraordinary and the house, our room and gardens were immaculate.
Valerie is a wonderful hostess. She is very gracious. She made us feel so welcomed and at home. Each morning the breakfast was phenomenal! It was better then any 5 star restaurant. So much food, so delicious, a gorgeous presentation, pretty china and cloth napkins. Breakfast was served in our room just at the right temperature. I could rave on and on about the breakfast and her cooking. It was a breakfast I will never forget!
The Azalea Inn is indeed a VERY SPECIAL place! Its a step back in time. You will thoroughly enjoy the peace and tranquility the Inn has to offer.

Laura We have been operating the Azalea Inn for almost eighteen years and have actively encouraged TripAdvisor reviews since the beginning. We have had many 5 star reviews and a few 4 stars that praise Valerie, her cooking, and her hospitality but yours by far has brought tears to her eyes as one of the best because we are at the end of our tenure as innkeepers. Thank you so much for your kind words and we hope you will come back to visit the Azalea Inn and the new owners soon. PS your cookbook is in the mail.

My wife and I love B&B's and the Azalea Inn is excellent. The host was wonderful to help us with things to do around town and the house itself is the perfect mixture of large common areas and comfortable private rooms. We would definitely recommend this to anyone.

My husband and I really needed a weekend away - and we didn't have a lot of time. I decided to surprise him with a no-expectations weekend in Jefferson where we would just relax, sleep, eat, and maybe shop. The Azalea Inn was perfect! Our room was so quiet and we felt free to come and go as we pleased without bothering anyone. The breakfasts on both days were delicious - and way more than we could eat. I am picky about food because I am a recipe developer and food writer and I can tell you that the food at Azalea Inn was as delicious and beautifully presented as any that I have had. We came home relaxed and ready for the week...

We always cherish the reviews from our guests and most of them, like yours, really like the food. There is nothing special that Val does, except serving what is known as a southern breakfast. She puts a twist on hers by serving a wide variety of sweets. Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We look forward to seeing you again.

We had a lovely stay. Sweet innkeepers made sure we had everything we could need or want. The breakfast served in our room each morning was a feast! Reasonable rates were the icing on the cake. We would highly recommend a stay there.

My sister and I spent two nights here. We stayed in The West Room. Nice quiet room at the front of the house. Our innkeeper was Jodi. I can’t say enough good things about this sweet lady. She is gracious, funny and an awesome cook. The new owner happened to be there while we were there along with her sister and her family. All of them were so nice and accommodating Of course, we all had breakfast together and it was like having breakfast with family. Truly enjoyed our stay

The rooms and common areas are beautiful and full of interesting antiques. However, unfortunately, not one of our favorites. The owners live in another city and have a very part-time innkeeper. Luckily we have realatives in the area to make recommendations. Very noisy trains and nearby highway. Ears are provided for sleeping.

My husband and I spent three nights at the Azalea Inn, along with my sister and her husband. The B&B was wonderful, so beautifully decorated and in a great location. Our rooms were comfortable and inviting. Breakfast by Jodi was amazing, complementary soft drinks, juices, coffee. Such a great place. Visits by Butterbean the cat were a bonus! Some rooms with central heat/air. Ours was in the front of the house and we had a window unit, which kept us very, very comfortable. Jefferson and Caddo Lake are amazing places to visit; and this very lovely B&B was the perfect place to stay.

Absolutely loved this place. It was very comfortable, accommodating, and peaceful. They innkeeper was very hospitable. The in-room coffee was a wonderful amenity. There was also a daily devotional book I enjoyed reading for the days we were there. Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend and look forward to returning.

We have stayed in Jefferson at several different hotels and Bed & Breakfast places, but Azalea is our favorite. I can not say enough wonderful things. The room was spacious and clean, bed was super comfortable and the sheets were divine, breakfasts were delicious and Jodie, the innkeeper, was amazing. It is close to a wonderful restaurant, The Stillwater Inn, and the historic area is just a short drive away. I would recommend to everyone. It will become your favorite as well!
