We are conveniently located a few blocks from the downtown area for easy walking to all the antique shops and restaurants. The AC worked really well which was great since we were there in August. We were within a 4 block walk to town center. The bed was very comfortable, they supplied a Keurig with all the stuff including real 1/2 and 1/2, wine glasses and a cork screw, bathroom soaps and stuff and there was a mini fridge if needed with cold water bottles inside. The neighborhood was just lovely and very quiet and the owners were accommodating and friendly.

Wow! The owners of White Oak Manor really made staying at a B&B during a pandemic feel safe, cozy and normal! The breakfasts were brought to our room and were wonderful for each day of our weekend stay. There were patios and verandas to eat outdoors, if you preferred. The location is lovely-close enough to walk to the main street, but far enough away that you feel like you are in a small town. Sweet place to stay for your visit to Jefferson!

I waited on purpose to post this review from my stay at the end of Feb. I did not want it to be passed over due to Covid-19. Stayed at this lovely B & B while on a girls weekend. The decor is very tasteful and the downstairs public restroom is adorable. Loved reading the history of house on the walls of the staircase. We stayed in the bedroom on first floor in back of house. LOVED the porch!! Even though the house was sold out, it was quiet...could not hear anyone above walking about. Loved the old fashioned tub with the wrap around shower curtain. Big king bed was comfortable and cozy. In room beverages and snacks was a welcomed surprised. Homemade breakfast woke us up and was very delicious. Parking is limited but street parking is very safe. Not walking distance to downtown but is a short and easy 5 min drive. Best park for me was talking with the owners. Really nice people and full of information on things to see and do. Will certainly stay here again on our next trip....maybe I will just bring my husband for a romantic get-away.

We enjoyed a lovely anniversary getaway and our stay at White Oak Manor was just perfect. The room was cozy and quiet. The linens from the bedding to the coziest bathrobes are some of the best we have ever experienced. Dan and Tami served up a delicious breakfast, and even accommodated my vegan needs. The location is just a quick drive or pleasant walk to the downtown shops and a few places to grab food and drinks. If you are looking for a B&B option with just a few rooms for guests to bypass the normal hotel stay, I think you should definitely check out White Oak Manor.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay at White Oak Manor. Stayed in the Rose room. Bed spacious enough for 2. 2 robes provided in addition to make up remover disposable and black cotton cloth, shampoo, lotion, etc. Also in room - 2 wine glasses with wine bottle opener, fridge with water/cokes, microwave, coffee maker and supplies. Wi-Fi worked. Good breakfast - egg dish, diced hash browns, yogurt with fruit, orange juice and coffee. Will be a repeat customer.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at the White Oak Manor and visiting with Dave and Tammy during our stay. The home is beautiful. The moment we pulled up my daughter excitedly said "we picked the right one"! White picket fence, large trees on corner lot and historic home with wrap around porch. Our stay was short but the accommodations were cozy, quiet, clean and convenient walk to historic downtown. To echo the guests in the many questbook entries and here, the breakfast was AMAZING! Waking up to the smell of puff pancakes, sausage and eggs as well as fresh squeezed OJ was nothing short of a luxury. And the great chat on the home's history and town relevance made us wish we could have hung out with Dave and Tammy longer. Both such lovely people. Beautifully maintained, clean CLEAN (you will not find a speck of dust, I swear) and lovingly decorated - every room as distinct as their names - you won't go wrong booking with White Oak, so have a chat with Dave and Tammy and book your stay with confidence.

White Oak Manor is conveniently located to the hub of Jefferson. The place is clean and has a family feel to it. Innkeepers are very friendly and a hearty breakfast awaits guests each morning. The Keurig and coffee in the room is a wonderful addition, along with the mini-fridge stocked with bottled water and coke. The place is clean and a very comfortable bed and soft bedsheets promise a very good night rest.

My husband and I were visiting East Texas for a vintage motorcycle event in the town. We absolutely loved our choice! Loved the environment, the quaintness and home feel about the White Manor. Our room had everything we needed and it just felt like we were part of a period piece. Our hosts made it very enjoyable and loved the homemade breakfasts made by our host, David. We highly recommend staying in their home.

David & Tammy made us feel very comfortable during our Valentines' weekend stay. The stuffed french toast with apple brandy sauce was magnificent! They helped us out with a free cancellation of our 3rd booked night, in anticipation of the Texarctica Snowmageddon. The distance from Jefferson Main St district was just right for a couple of relatively inactive 50-somethings, being far enough for quiet rest, but not too far to walk. Pro tip: if you get the Southern Charm room, the small pillows fit nicely in those lovely glass art windows for a little later sleep. 😉

Staff are friendly and served a nice breakfast. The Mardi Gras room, however, has a bed that requires a high step stool to climb into and the mattress sinks under my weight to the point that my midsection was in a "hole" that I had to climb out of. Some might find it quaint, but the entire floor creaks loudly with every movement, even moving in the bed. Location was great and I can't speak to the other rooms, but my experience was mediocre.
