Wonderful room (comfortable bed, clean, and quiet) and breakfast. One of the best breakfasts with lots of choices. My only issue was with the shuttle service. When I landed I was told the wait would be 45 min. I was going to take Uber but the cost was $30 for a short trip. I waited for the shuttle. I would call the hotel once you land

Travelling from Europe to Tulsa, I stayed 1 night at this hotel. Very welcoming staff at the reception and at the restaurant. Room would defintely need some refurbishment but good stay. Shuttle available to and from the airport,

I stayed on the first floor. It was loud. The person working the front desk hung out with people every night and talked so loud I could hear every word in my room. They also propped open the side door all night which made me uncomfortable. I went to the front desk to tell them it was propped open again even after I closed it and they said they keep it propped so the kitchen staff could go outside to smoke. It did smell like smoke down the hallway and in my room. I won't stay here again.

Although this property bills itself as an airport hotel, it is further from the airport than the Westin and a Marriott and other brands. One selling point was the availability of free shuttle service to and from Dallas-Fort Worth airport. Don’t believe it! I called the hotel as soon as I landed and they told me to call again when I got to the courtesy van area. I did so and was told the van would be there in 15 to 20 minutes. Half an hour later I called again and was told that the van was making a pick up elsewhere and could be there in half an hour. So I ended up taking a $50 Uber, about half the price of the room itself. The room is fine, serviceable, but if you decide to stay, don’t count on Springhill Suites for transportation.

We got trapped in the DFW area due to a flight cancellation and the airline gave us a voucher for this hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and the room was exceptionally clean. No complaints.

First, I will start out with the pluses. The staff mainly but also convenient location to area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the best staffs I have encountered. Jenn B was especially gracious and a lovely young lady. That is about all I have on that. Now for the negatives. The property in some places is in disrepair. In fact, parts of the ceiling were coming down in the bar area and some fell into the chair right beside me the other night. There are other areas like that in the dining area; actually several of them. Some other things to be aware of: The cupboards in the room were almost bare. 2 paper plates and that was pretty much it. There is no stove in the room but a micro and a mini fridge which was not secure and fell out of the opening when trying to open the door. If you shove it up into the space to prevent that, your knuckles will be scraped up trying to open the door. Also, 2 very small trash cans in the room so any dining you had in there with the remnants there was not enough room for it all after 3 nights of stay. Worst of all would have to be the "buffet breakfast". By far the worst I have experienced especially in terms of the selection. See the attached photo especially noting the bananas. Really?? To me these are management/ownership issues as again, the staff was wonderful.

My wife and I stayed here after a late night arrival at DFW. We chose it because of the price and the fact it was close to the airport. It served our purpose for a place to sleep before driving home, but I would not want to stay here more than one night at a time. The staff was helpful and friendly, but the facility was old and our room smelled pretty musty. It was also the little things like rips in the carpet and the calking around the shower not being the best. It was fine for a night, but I would not want to stay here for a week or so on business.

When I come to North Texas for business this is my go to place to stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the breakfast is awesome, the hotel is clean and "Adriana C" at the front desk is incredible! When I come here I always feel like I'm at home... Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

I am a Marriott person so I chose one of the closest, lowest cost hotels to the airport. The location is convenient, it is about 12 minutes to the Rental Car Return and the staff was friendly. It was an in and out trip for me, so I was a looking for convenience and proximity to the airport. The curtains could have been a bit better as some light leaked in, but otherwise, close and quiet.

The staff were great. Check-in was quick. The room is OK. As far as a suite, well, kind of below average. The secondary part of the room is not inviting at all. I didn't use it. And I don't like the work desk tucked into a dark corner. If I was going to be staying longer I would have dragged it across the room to the window. The room was clean. The microwave was clean. (But the turntable did not work. Not a big deal at all. ) The bathroom was clean. Sloppy ceiling repair. Didn't impact overall satisfaction. It just reflects on workmanship standards. The pool is indoors, and way too small to be useful for exercise. I was looking for a place to sit outside and enjoy my book and a glass of wine. There is an area off the pool and a gazebo. But they are kind of tucked into bushy areas and are not at all inviting. The breakfast buffet is good. Sliced fruits, lots of different breads, sliced cheeses, etc. Probably one of the better free breakfast buffets I've experienced. The bar is tucked into a corner of the dinning room. Just few bar stools. No windows or other outdoor light. One more "not very inviting" area. The hotel is not near anything that you can walk to. Transportation is needed to do anything. Overall, it was a slightly above average hotel. Except for the ceiling repair, everything as clean and in good repair.
