The place has potential but I’d wait until the construction is complete to visit. Stayed in April 2024 and seems like everything is under construction. Pool and spa were both closed and coffee shop is “coming soon” A lot of construction noise all day including early Saturday morning. Not within walking distance to anything. Not get up to Ritz Carleton standards. Staff was very accommodating to make stay somewhat enjoyable.

I really loved the reviews and it looked great. My bed squeaked all night. I finally put my earbuds in. I got up for my 1st visit to the bathroom and a roach ran across the floor. I killed it with my shoe then called the front desk. They apologize but I just couldn’t make myself get in the bed. I slept on top of the covers and used my blankets from the car for the rest of my 2day stay. I loved that they are pet friendly. My puppy was with me for the trip. I asked the front desk to come to my room so they could see what I was talking. The desk was aware that it had happened. But when she came to my room she was more concerned about had I paid my pet deposit and where was my door hanger showing there was a pet in the room. She took a picture and said they would refresh my room. I am not sure if I will visit there again. I look a picture for my personal reference but I won’t share it here with this review.

You should know that now they are hosting Spa services in hotel rooms during the renovation. Not a terrible idea, but know what you can expect. The masseuses here are still generally excellent; one of the most consistent massage experiences in DFW. Everyone is still super nice and helpful. My problem is the current value. Does spa management really think they can charge the full price with NO AMENITIES?! No jacuzzi, no sauna, no cold plunge, no fancy coffee, no snacks, no lotions, no spacious locker room where I can walk around, relax and watch Golf channel in a fancy robe and flipflops. Instead, you get to change in an airline restroom with mini soaps. The music comes from a little tin cup bluetooth speaker and can be overwhelmed by jackhammering. During my last treatment, the poor masseuse must have apologized 20 times and had to lean into the rickety massage table to keep it from wobbling when I asked her to go a little deeper on my lower back. I understand that the masseuses get around 25% of the fee, which is surprising if true; but this means spa mgt puts a value on amenities over 75% of the price. Well now there are no amenities at all, but the price is the same. The massages are still great but don't expect anything else until the actual spa reopens. Ask before you book. Consider bringing your headphones until then. Maybe they should offer an in-home for that price.

Had an unexpected trip to the area. The hotel was excellent at a last minute accommodation. From the valets to the front desk staff everything was professional. We were pleasantly surprised at how great the service was here. Having stayed here years ago the room updates are fabulous. Great access to a gym facility with everything you would want or need. Room service was prompt and the food was good. We look forward to coming back soon.

This hotel and staff do not yet know how to be a Ritz Carlton. I made calls in advance to try and upgrade and promised return calls never came. Onsite visits to front desk never got promised return calls. It took four calls/visits to front desk to even get answers. I did get a modest room upgrade but questionable it's value given time spent to acquire it. The rooms are nice but have serious design flaws. The two most egregious are: 1. Cannot watch TV from the bed. It has a sort of L shape and you can only fully see it from the couch. They should have reversed bed and couch positions. 2. Lighting. It is bad. It's impossible to have just a reading light on in bed. Choices are dark or reading light plus an up light behind the bed that is quite bright and a light over the coffee/minibar setup. No option to just have a reading light. It's unpleasant. They did install new convenient plugs with USB and USB C plugs, but they didn't work on either side of the bed. Only the regular outlet did. This is a wiring flaw that if repeated on both outlets in this room, could be widespread in hotel. The food is mediocre. Better than average Marriott but not up to Ritz standards. Lastly, There is construction / major landscaping going on. It appears that the pool is closed. I didn't try to go in but never saw anyone there and has construction all around it. So check if this is important to you.

Formerly the Four Seasons Dallas, this legendary institution recently became Ritz Carlton. The property has undergone full-scale renovations and is still in the process of working on many more things, including its pool area. My stay was made even more special by the superior customer service of CLAYTON (front desk agent) and NAHIN (valet/bell service). Both these gentlemen were helpful beyond words and deserve recognition for their stellar professionalism and generous service. They are priceless!

I have been visiting this hotel for several years as The Four Seasons. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the noise and distraction from the construction and remodeling underway. I knew that going in and almost did not stay because of it but glad I did. While there were glitches due to the transition to The Ritz, my stay did not disappoint. All issues were resolved quickly and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was double pleased. They spoiled me so much that I almost felt guilty. The renovations are a bit distracting -- limited gym equipment -- but the staff makes up for it with excellent service and warm regards. Looks like the makeover will be worth it. My usual room was recently renovated and was much improved from the last time I stayed so I do look forward to the updates, particularly in the very outdated spa. Every person on the staff was amazing and wish I could remember everyone's names but they were all fabulous. I do remember my massage therapist's name, Dale, and highly recommend him for an A++ massage. Will come back again.

Had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was outstanding. The facility is very nice. Very service-oriented hotel. Everyone I encountered knew my name. I was treated like a king. The rooms are comfortable and very modern. In room dining was top notch. The presentation and food quality are 5 star. The fitness club at the hotel is the best I've ever seen at any hotel. I love this pace. Very reasonable price for the level of service offered.

Had a great experience staying for a weekend with my dog! We stayed in a villa, which is a great option when traveling with a pet as we could walk right out the sliding door to the grass outside. Saturday I had two spa services booked; fantastic service from start to finish and was encouraged to take my time enjoying the sauna/cold plunge after my services. I ordered 3 room service meals (2 dinners and a breakfast)-unfortunately forgot to get a photo of my salmon dish, which was probably in the top 3 room service meals I’ve ever had, and we travel frequently. Looking forward to booking another stay in the summer when the renovations are complete and outdoor pool is open!
