I took my family to this hotel as I had many times before but this time I regretted it. The behavior from a group of unsupervised teenagers at the pool area and the I don't care attitude by management ruined our stay. Apparently teens or any others wishing to be that out of control by the pool at this so-called luxury hotel is acceptable. All other adults left the pool that Friday afternoon just as we did also. Management I suppose is wanting business at this hotel no matter what. I remember years ago when this hotel was the Jewel of the Dallas and Ft. Worth area. We won't be back because all complaints fell on deaf ears.
Staff was great and attentive, house keeping was on top of any potential issues. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool area was well designed and parking was easy and a few steps from the hotel entrance.
From the moment I drive up until I departed, I was treated well by all members of the team. The Valet team was outstanding and very helpful. The front desk staff was polite and helpful as well. I had some specific requests that the staff gladly supported. I really enjoyed my stay.
I stayed two nights while attending an on-site business conference. I have nothing but good things to say. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. I noticed some staff working at more than one job. My room was great, all the food was yummy, and the conference facilities were wonderful. I highly recommend.
We stayed at this resort for two nights. Our room was clean and the view from a high floor was great. This resort seems more fitting for adults rather than families with very few non-adult guests at the hotel pool. There was an outdoor children’s movie at the lawn by the pool in the evening which was fun. The staff was okay- some friendly and helpful (pool servers & gift shop) and some not at all. Our stay was okay but this won’t be a favorite of ours.
We had a one night stay at Omni Las Colinas over the weekend and it was great! We enjoyed a spa treatment then spent the afternoon at the pool. The service was not great at the pool area, but it was also packed. The umbrellas/chairs are first come first serve, but thankfully we lucked out and got some shade, since I am 8 months pregnant. The drinks were good, and fresh. The food was also great poolside, but expensive for the small portions. Our room was clean but could definitely have used an upgrade, especially in the bathrooms. But was nice and comfortable overall. All the staff was friendly and courteous! Breakfast at Flossie's was also really good. I deducted a star for the slow service in the pool area, rooms needed updating, and the server at Flossie's. But otherwise it was great, clean and we would come back!…
I booked this hotel because one of the reviews said the bedding was so comfortable you melted in the bed. I didn’t think that meant I would literally melt! The room was so hot I felt as if I were melting! The way the room is set up the AC doesn’t make it to the bed and it’s like a furnace. I was only there for one night and it was not a pleasant one! It’s too bad because the hotel, pool area, bar and little store is super nice! I complained at the front desk and they said they would let the maintenance department know. I won’t be back.
What a great spot to getaway this summer! Our weekend started with an upgrade to a Mandalay Suite with phenomenal views! Our breakfasts and Flossies were amazing- loved that they offered gluten free breads & muffins plus many other menu options! The service was great too! We ate outside in the shade. The coffee bar in the lobby made delicious lattes as well. The bar was great- good drinks, great views and even live music Saturday night. The pool area- wow! Tons of chairs, many umbrellas, pool at perfect temperature, and phenomenal service/drinks/food available all day! The room was slightly outdated and the A/C could have worked better, but we didn't spend much time there so it was fine. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Could not have asked for a better weekend!…
Dave, Misael, Jese, and Lupe were excellent with the valet! 10/10 recommend! They were so quick when calling to get the car and courteous! They even were so nice enough to pull our car back out after we mistakingly left something in it. You don’t always see this kind of service these days!
Upon our arrival at the Omni in Las Colinas, we were taken aback by the grandeur of the lobby and the surrounding areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the added convenience of valet on site made coming in and out a breeze! Jay, the overnight, blew me away as he had our name memorized and always greeted us with a smile right away. The only negative to our stay would be the suite we stayed in, which seemed extremely outdated compared to the modernity of the arrival area. It needs an update and a refresh across the whole area. It served its purpose, but definitely needs work to reflect the elegance of the Omni brand.
