This hotel has been completely updated, expanded and modernized. Gone however is the beautifully expansive lobby with trees and relaxing sofas and chairs. Gone also is the classy piano bar with a pianist who specialized in soft classical music. All has been replaced by the brightly lit hotel restaurant manned by servers who busily move about but cannot find the time to stop by your table. Instead you have to follow them and almost force them to take your orders. The selections are good and preparation is fantastic, but it's hard to get in the mood for enjoying a fancy dinner with bored waiters. The tables are small and sit low which will result in constantly shifting and stretching. The hotel staff are equally slow and non attentive. There's no valet and no bell staff. There's usually only one person staffing the front desk and he or she has to be located and walked to the desk to check you in. The rooms have not caught up with the hotel renovation. Sofas are dingy and saggy and the carpet shows fibers and seams. It's said it's the result of the pandemic which is true, but it's also because the hotel owners are cheap. There are plenty of sanitizing stations and social distancing is practiced because there's hardly anyone there. There's plenty to do. The lake around the hotel have several first class restaurants and bars. A great place to walk and enjoy nature, but the hotel offers relaxation presented by neglect.

Lovely! Great service, very attentive staff, shuttle service was especially helpful... could not have been better! The dining was great - the complimentary late checkout when I screwed up my travel plans and had to leave a day earlier than planned was especially thoughtful!

Omni is missing the Mark! We stayed here a couple of years ago for Valentine’s Day weekend. Since then, the public areas have been renovated. Light and airy. Very nice. However, for a holiday weekend, the hotel has been understaffed. No Valets or Bellmen. Only the Lobby Bar and 24/7 Over the Counter Shop available for food. The advertised restaurant has not been open for months. We had reservations for NYE to dine with friends at the LHR restaurant (Turned out to be the Lobby Bar). We arrived and stood at the check in register for 10 minutes - no one acknowledged us. We found our table. A special 4 course meal was offered along with the full menu. Food was good, but main course plates were cold when served, and we sent them back. They were returned warm. We had to remind the waiter dessert was included. In year’s past, the hotel had a piano player and served champagne at midnight- No longer- Room Mandalay Suite - room was freezing when we arrived. Thermostat turned up but did not work - they sent someone to fix it. The carpet in the sitting area has an unravelled seam across the center of the room. The low slung couch has a broken frame and is not comfortable. Bathroom is clean and the bed comfortable. Towels and linens nice. The Keurig coffeemaker does not work. The mini fridge did not have water or cold drinks available. The ice machine on our floor was out of order. The coffee shop had one barista and packaged foods. Coolers with packaged food and drinks. The spa is advertised around the hotel and in the website, but when we called to book massages we were told it has been closed and not reopened. We understand that The Covid shutdown affected the hotel industry negatively, but the hotel has reduced services to skeleton levels and is no longer a 4-5 star hotel. Sad to see.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind words about our newly renovated spaces. I apologize that we did not meet your expectations with our offerings being limited at the time with pandemic. We understand how disappointing that is and we look forward to the days when we can provide all our services again, our Spa included. Your feedback concerning the thermostat and coffee maker has been passed to our Engineering team so we can rectify for future guests. We hope you will give us another opportunity in the future to wow you. Best Regards,

I do not recommend holding a meeting at this hotel. I had to participate in a certification test held at the hotel and they had us packed in the function room too tight. The side aisles were too small, there was no center aisle and they had set up a hand sanitizer table on a large round table right in the middle of the traffic flow. When I commented about the tight set up, the planner told me that we were supposed to be in a larger room, and she came early and had the room reset, dealing with the unfortunate situation as best she could. Hotels are supposed to be our partners in bringing back F2F events but this hotel apparently hasn't received the message.

My husband and I decided a quick trip would do us good. We decided to stay at the Omni and splurge for a suite. Calling and making our reservation was a breeze. I had to call the hotel directly for a question and they were very kind and accommodating. The grounds are very pretty and well-kept. Check-in was very easy. We went up to our room and noticed the decor in the common areas is dated. The carpet leading to our room had big rolls in it causing us to trip. Our suite was nice and big. It was clean and we appreciated all the precautions Omni is taking. Our room was dated, especially the bathroom. The tub needs a serious remodel, the bidet is a dated, clunky feature that didn’t work, the light fixture was crooked, and the ceiling in the bathroom had peeling paint. We went down to the pool area to explore and it looked like they are starting to remodel from the ground up but we aren’t entirely sure? They treated us with a bottle of champagne and chocolate cake for our anniversary which was a really nice touch. We did enjoy our stay but wish the hotel was updated.
