My family and I have been visiting Roddy Tree Ranch (RTR) annually for the best 9 years and love the atmosphere, the people, the area, and the activities. It is a chance for us to relax, cook, and hang out. We travel quite extensively and always look forward to our days at RTR!

We arrived late, but was told via email that a package with keys and information would be there at the office waiting for us, and it was. We found the cabin pretty quick using the signs on the roads. The grounds are kept clean and the cabin we picked was way nicer than we expected. We stayed at the Green... More

My extended family of 4 adults and 5 children rented Pecan Springs at Roddy Tree Ranch for 3 days, 4nights the weekend before Christmas. The antique log cabin was 5+ stars for charm. Roddy Tree was a child's delight. We fed the horses, had a lunch picnic in the tree house, canoed on the river, played basketball at the canteen,... More

Thank you for the kind words. Yes would could have done better supervising our cleaning staff, however I manager did say if you need anything else don't hesitate to call. We really mean that, it's not just something we say. As for the hand rail and landscaping they are on the maintenance to do list and are in the process... More

We rented the Ponderosa for 2 nights recently as we were attending a wedding nearby. Positives: spacious home, multiple outdoor patios Negatives: At a rate of almost $400/night their basic "housekeeping" was disappointing: full load of dirty dishes in the dishwasher, multiple lightbulbs in bathroom burned out, no extra toilet paper. These seemed to be very basic cleaning and preparing... More

This was our first year to stay at the Roddy Tree Ranch & we found the accommodations met our group's needs. We were unsure upon arrival, when our cabin was hot (apparently the air conditioning needs to be turned on 24 hours in advance & they forgot) but, 2 large floor fans were quickly produced. Also, the ice maker in... More

Nice property. Guest houses are awesome. We stayed in the Cordi's Pier. Spacious clean. Large property with catch and release pond. River front access just across the road. Would stay here again for that getaway away from the hustle and bustle of a big town

We enjoyed our three night stay at Cody's lil Bear Cabin. The place is superb for a family. We were with our children and three grands ages 6, 14 & 16. They loved the grounds with so many fun things to do there. My daughter and I enjoyed the shops in the town of Ingram and Kerville is close so... More

A group of us went to hear a concert at Roddy Tree last weekend. It was advertised as the Cowboy Way with a chuck wagon and cowboy grub and the wonderful Mike Blakely performing, the reason we went. We were expecting some typical chuck wagon food like others have done with things like brisket, beans, coleslaw, cowboy stew, and maybe... More

Another awesome visit to Roddy Tree Ranch despite the bitter cold. We watched the Spurs win in the clubhouse before heading over to listen to the music and sample the great food at lazy Days canteen. We love this place. We will be back once the weather warms up. The Knights.

I believe the owners of Roddy Tree Ranch do not run an honest business and I think it is best to avoid doing business with them. A long story short, we spoke with the owner who personally agreed upon honoring an expired groupon. The amount paid for the groupon was $258 for a 3 night, 2 day stay. We then... More

I think you will be able to tell by most of our other reviews that this disgruntled guest was way off base. The person who wrote this review did not make the reservation. His friend talked directly to me and all of his information is second hand. I did not say I would honor a coupon that was several months... More
