had to wait over an hour and call them five times to finally get a pickup at E202 pickup spot. room is ok but an old outdated holiday inn they converted. some new remodel stuff but other things like painted over doorknow. rusty door hinges, mattress with sloping sides. Hallways are old and outdated as well. stayed at the sleep inn a couple of blocks away last year and it was overall much nicer and more friendly staff. It was the cheapest choice hotel for the airport location so went with it. get what you pay for I guess.

This hotels owner is terrible. I had a vacation for central America. And tour was starting from houston and finishing at houston. So I had to stays in this hotel. Both of them were one day and there were 14 days difference each other. I left my two packages at this property. They told me they will kerp them and I can take it back 2 weeks later. But when I came back one of my package was missing which was a retail packaged laptop unused and unopened. I wanted them to check yhe cameras but the owner disnt cooperate. I understand why he didnt cooperate when suddenly my laptop was found after I leave the hotel. Because they tried the steal it but calling police changed their mind. And they told me that laptop was found owners room behind a curtain. So It is so clear why he didnt want to cooperate. Here are the photos when I got the laptop back. Never stay in this hotel. Beware of it.

My wife and I stayed here for my second time and her first. I had to be at work at the airport at 4:30 am to work a 5:28 am flight, and so I requested at 4 am shuttle. I did the same thing my first time. Both times the shuttle was late. This time I was in the lobby at 3:37 am and at 4:02 am I rang the bell on the desk. The front desk rep came from the back squinting like you do when you're just waking up and come into a room with bright light. I asked when the 4 am shuttle was going to get there since it was 4:02. He said, "Should be in a few minutes." I said, "Ok but this happened last time I stayed too. I have to go to work." Last time I stayed at this hotel the 4 am shuttle was late and I had to check with the front desk on that too. When I said that, he could have cared less. At 4:04 am the shuttle arrived. There was no sense of urgency by the front desk agent (of course he was asleep) nor the shuttle driver. In addition even though my wife was still asleep in the room, I saw my invoice emailed to me said we were checked out at 6:29 am. Her shuttle was at 10 am. Even though I don't have an issue staying at this hotel facility wise and the location is ideal with several restaurants nearby, I'm going to have to rethink staying unless you can guarantee that the shuttle issues can be fixed and implemented. Also it's unprofessional for the clerk to be asleep.

all guests without an US phone please be advised that it could be difficult to use the free airport shuttle. This happend to me and my wife after arriving in IAH late at night after a transatlantic flight from Europe. When we booked our room I specifically asked about the free shuttle service, but never got an answer from the hotel staff. I have been travelling in the US for many years and have used often a free shuttle service to reach a hotel, so I waited at the designated pick up area for the hotel shuttle, but even after waiting for over 40 minutes no bus from Comfort Suites Beltway arrived. Since I didn´t have a phone that would work in the US, I asked somebody waiting for an uber ride to call the hotel on my behalf. Nobody at the hotel reception picked up the phone. So we waited another half hour, no bus came. Since it was getting late and my wife was tired from the long trip, I approached another gentleman waiting in line to have him call the hotel again to see when the bus would show up. This time a lady answered but said that she would need my phone number, otherwise no shuttle would be sent to the airport to pick us up. Since I could not provide her with a phone number that she could call, we decided to take a cab to reach the hotel. When we arrived finally the lady at the desk was very unfriendly and blamed us for the situation. Nowhere on the website from the hotel can I find the info that the shuttle will only come if you call from the airport. Then I sent an email to the manager to ask for a refund for my cab ride expense, he did reply once but until today I have not received my money. Just to be clear, I booked this hotel because of the proximity to the airport and the free shuttle. This service is offered by many hotels in the area, I saw their shuttle busses pull up very frequently to pick up their guests, just my hotel was not able to send us the promissed shuttle. Usually I don´t like to write reviews, but I hope that I can spare my fellow international travellers an unpleasant arrival. Unfortunally this hotel chain lost me as a customer forver.

Our experience with the facility in Humble, Texas, was one of the worst I have ever had. Ever. My mother in law booked (2) rooms at this facility, off of a search engine. There were 3 people in each room, and therefore, two beds in each room was requested. One of these rooms was for (3) Senior Citizens. This reservation was made through Agoda/booking.com. The rooms were guaranteed and paid for in September 2019. We are from Idaho, and are a long way from home. We booked one of your properties because we all had positive stays with Choice. The proximity to the Airport was also a selling point, as we needed somewhere close after a great cruise. Upon arrival, we were informed that there was a construction issue, and that there were no double bed rooms on the ground floor and that the elevators did not work. This probably wouldn’t have been a huge issue, except there were (3) Senior Citizens in one of these rooms (that were again, PAID for, two months in advance) and my 87 year old mother in law is in a wheelchair. Our options were – to cancel, have the refund her, and for us to go elsewhere, or for them to be put in a room with a king bed and a pull out couch. Not ideal for a Senior Citizen by the way... Do the words ADA compliant strike anyone? This hotel is NOT ADA compliant. That should be a serious concern to you at this point. UNACCEPTABLE. As they got into their room, there was no bedding, and one of the ladies had to go to the housekeeping area and gather their own bedding. UNACCEPTABLE. The second room, with two beds, was up on the third floor. None of that group was wheelchair bound – but we had very heavy luggage - (2) suitcases of almost 50# each. But we were tired, and just wanted to take a hot shower and go to bed. So we conceded. At check in, on the front desk, was a note, stating to use the west or east stairwells, due to the elevator being out of service. So, I went to the stairwell on the left, and lugged some of the heavy baggage up to floor three. I understand there was a construction accident, but what I came across was totally unacceptable! Drywall, insulation and carpet was torn up everywhere, wet/musty/ moldy odor, several cords draped across the hall – SUBSTANTIAL TRIPPING HAZARD. This is acceptable to put your customers in a room in area like this? UNACCEPTABLE. There was construction plastic tacked up at the end of the hall, and our room, was beyond this plastic. Now what? I turned around, with all my heavy luggage, and went back down the hall, across all the electrical cords and insulation and drywall hanging down everywhere, and then back down the stairs to the front desk. As I asked the inconsiderate front desk clerk where our room was, she said, and I quote “oops, my bad” - Unacceptable. Her lack of communication, empathy and direction is UNACCEPTABLE. Are you catching the theme here? So, as the room, on the ground floor with the Senior Citizens is getting settled, we haul all our luggage up to the third floor, again, on the other stairwell. We get to our room, and thankfully, it was a fairly nice room – but the stench in the hallway was bad. The walls inside the room are scuffed up, sheetrock was moldy around the tub, and there was a beer bottle, sprite cap and misc papers under one of the beds. It does appear there has been a remodel, but based on the plastic outside our door, it is not finished nor is the room cleaned very well. As we get settled, my husband tries to take a bath, but alas – there is NO HOT WATER. UNACCEPTABLE. Tepid at best. We let the water run for over 10 minutes. NONE. My husband calls down to the front desk, and informed them there is no hot water. They told him – that is the normal temperature, and they have never had any complaints. Must have been that same front desk clerk... I went to the other room – they had no hot water either. We went to the front desk in the lobby and was super thankful to talk to a new person. She told us that the maintenance man just left and would not be back until Monday. We told her there was no way to bathe in the tepid water. She said she’d make some phone calls. We were offered two other rooms thinking that perhaps because the room was so close to construction, that may be the issue. Both other rooms offered also had no hot water. The hotel manager was called and I am assuming he came in and re-lit the pilot light or flipped the breaker – after a couple hours the water started getting hot. But it was too late for us – we had a 6am flight and had to be at IAH at 4am. We were thankful for the shuttle, and had no issues checking out. However, when my Mother in law tried to catch the shuttle mid morning, they would not assist her in loading her 50# suitcase into the shuttle. She was in a wheel chair for hells sake! UNACCEPTABLE. This was a disastrous stay, and this review has been cross-posted. If your property is under construction, it should be closed. I do not think it is appropriate to subject your reputation to unacceptable conditions. My photos will not upload all my to this site.
