We stayed at The Whitehall for a concert. From the moment that we got there the valet, the front desk staff, and all the restaurants were over the top with customer service. I definitely felt like this hotel was above all others. The cute restaurant outside had great drinks and food and the guys at the bar were so nice. The room was beautiful and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast and coffee the next morning was delicious. I will always stay at this hotel when I come to Houston.
This is the second or third time I come to this pool to hang out with friends. The pool area at the hotel is always comfortable and clean. We have a good time every time we come. It’s nice that the hotel provides soft clean towels a lots of seating space.
We stayed at this hotel last month and we will be staying again! The staff was absolutely amazing and sincere. The room was clean and spacious. We ordered breakfast and it was wonderful! We highly recommend this hotel and we will only stay at The Whitehall Houston when we visit downtown from now on!

I have stayed at the Whitehall previously, and I no longer even look for other hotels in the Houston area. The hotel is clean, the staff is amazing, and the dining options are phenomenal. We also got to sit out and listen to the live music at the outdoor bar this time, and that was icing on the cake.
The hotel has excellent service at the front desk. They helped me quickly solve an issue. It is easy to get around Houston from this location and they have clean and well organized rooms. I didn't get to try the pool, but it looked nice.
The Whitehall is immaculately maintained, convenient to everything downtown and midtown Houston. The restaurants offer artfully delicious dining, and the rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable and very clean, but the best part of the Whitehall is the gracious hospitality of the wonderful staff!
Our staycation includes an Astros game and a stay here. Nothing was really bad but for the price you pay nothing really stood out. $35 to valet your car (only option at this hotel), and the gentleman literally drove my truck about 500 feet. Check in was a breeze and everyone was friendly. The only downfall here was we wanted to catch the shuttle to the game, so I asked at the front desk and they said “when you are ready just tell the valet people and it will take no time”. Well not the case, went down at 6 PM to get a ride over to the game. The valet called the shuttle driver on his cell phone and let us speak with the driver, the shuttle driver said a gentleman had already reserved a 7 PM ride to the game, so we would have to wait until then. If I new you took reservations I would have done so upon check in, and should have been told when I asked. So we took a ride share. Hotel lobby and outside patio bar were amazing, only downside is the patio bar closes at 9 PM. If you choose to stay here just realize nothing on site is open past 10 PM. Very small pool, rooms were nice but no refrigerator and no microwave. The refrigerator seems to be a norm in most hotels. Went to get ice, sign said must go to (and it listed other floors). Went to one of the other floors and nope not working. Literally took 4 stops before finding just a bucket of ice. Place definitely needs some TLC in the hallways, carpet dirty, looked like room service left out all day, scrapes all up and down the hallways. Would not stay again for the price they charge for what you get.…
First time in Houston, first time staying here and chose this hotel over another because of the shuttle service. Decided to book executive room to have a mini fridge in the room. Check-in woman was not very friendly or welcoming. We make it up to our room and while very clean & tidy, there was no fridge. I called front desk and a man answered (very kind & polite) and ensured a mini fridge would be delivered up to our room shortly, which it was. We tried to use the shuttle and valet service said that a group had "reserved" the entire shuttle for the next hour. If a hotel gives certain customers the option to reserve the entire shuttle, then there should be 2 buses available for other customers who did not reserve in advance. Check out experience was the same unfriendly woman and did not thank us for staying.…
Great location. First time stay, I asked about good restaurants in the area at check in, told me it would be easy to Google or have Uber Eats deliver, turn off. Asked the bartender same question, his response was, I don't eat around here so I really don't know. Nice clean room. I would stay again but will do my own research before arriving. Maybe have a flyer to give as guests check in. Thanks
