So, we just spent 4 days at this hotel. And, even though the room and facilities were great, the service was very disappointing. On the second day housekeeping did not clean our room, as we supposed there short on staff or was an accident, we let it slide. But they never came on the next day either, so, when we called and ask for someone to come and clean, they said it was because of COVID restriction. Which that would have been understandable if it would had been clearly stated at check in and reflected on the price. Anyhow, the sent someone with fresh towels, but she was rude and unfriendly. One would expect that a Global Hotel Chain as the Westin would had in place the right protocols and manage customer satisfaction better. Anyhow, I am never staying at a Westin again, and I wouldn’t recommend someone to stay in this hotel specifically.

Greetings Javier, I sincerely do apologize that we failed to communicate to you the current guestroom cleaning process for guests who are staying multiple nights, Marriot has always had a very strong commitment to clean and we have implemented numerous other COVID-19 protocols to provide our guests with greater peace of mind & options. One of the initiatives we currently have in place is that we do not automatically enter guestrooms each day to ensure that we are providing our guests with the ability to make decisions on whether they want somebody entering their guestroom during their stay. We do have a great many guests that appreciate the option and we do provide guests at check-in with welcome letters outlining all of our food & beverage outlet operations and housekeeping options. It is evident that we failed to share this information with you upon arrival and for that I am deeply sorry & embarrassed, we typically get great comments about the service and cleanliness of the hotel, I can assure you that your most recent experience is not reflective of our typical high levels of service. I was pleased to read that you found the guestroom and facilities were great, I do apologize for the housekeeping miss step and do hope we will have the privilege of hosting your next visit to Houston. Be Well

I stayed at this hotel last month and it was okay. The beds are great but the service wasn't anything "wow". Front Desk was good, the restaurant not so much. I had high expectatioms since my friends were recommending us the hotel.

Greetings; thank you for the feedback, I do apologize that the restaurant experience fell short of your expectations, they typically do a great job and have always been a very popular dining destination within the Galleria. I was happy to read that the Westin Heavenly Bed didn't disappoint! Your friends recommendations were obviously based on their past experiences, I do apologize for the miss-step, we typically get it right and do get LOTS of great comments about the hotel & service. Be Well

Two night stay, last week of March 2021. Very Clean Room, King on the 18th Floor, Resort quality Shower, quiet, clean very Covid compliant. Room attendants work very hard and do a great job, exquisite sheets, comfortable bed. This is not a resort style hotel, No Spa, 2nd class Pool - Front Desk refer to themselves as a convention hotel. Concierge service was being recalled after a covid furlough, they will be back in three weeks. No restaurant within the hotel, you need to go outside into the mall where are you will find high end restaurants and unlimited shopping opportunities. Never tried Room Service, so I don't know if it's available, now that Covid is ending (in Texas) we will see what services are restored & when.

Greetings Louz; thank you for the great feedback, we have been working very hard over the past several weeks to re-open all of the hotels services and welcome back our associates who have been furloughed, we still are not offering Room Service but all of our other F&B outlets are open and the mall is once again vibrant with happy shoppers. I hope we will see you back again very soon.

It was a busy weekend and the valet attendants were so helpful and friendly! We really appreciate their kindness and services even when they were busy. They were also all very quick and efficient. Thanks!

Opted to stay in the vibrant area and this particular hotel because it was connected to the Galleria Mall. At 195USD a night any guest would have expected more, but then again, looking at guest reviews online, we should have been forewarned. It would have been wiser and much cheaper to stay at the White Oaks Galleria Westin with a much lesser room rate. Why the low rating? A couple of reasons: 1. Reception/Check-In was a mob scene. There was no order and no particular attention given to Bonvoy members. 2. Reception Associate made no mention of or thank me for Titanium Elite for Life status. 3. It was as if we were on a scavenger hunt. At one point, we came down and had to ask if there were an executive lounge (there is but extremely limited service and offerings). 4. In the morning, again, we had to go back down to the desk and find breakfast options. Why weren't we told at check-in of the courtesy card for the diner in the mall given to elite members? 5. The room is not well-suited for the business traveler. It lacks proper resources for charging technology.

Greetings Patrick; it is always a great disappointment to me & our team whenever we fail to deliver the service levels that we are known for, it is of particular concern to let down one of our loyal & valued customers. Your right the weekend you stayed was EXTREMELY busy and we struggled to meet the demands, no excuses, we were overwhelmed! I promise you that we have made significant staffing adjustments over the past couple weeks and are now much better prepared to meet & exceed our guests service expectations. Please accept my sincere apologies for the miss-steps, come back and visit and I promise you will experience a visit far more reflective of our true abilities. Be Well
