After a 17 hour long flight and arriving early evening - all we wanted was to eat and sleep. From the moment we stepped outside of the cab we we're welcomed by the concierge and helped with out bags with a big greeting and smile. The check in was super smooth with Danny (I believe his name was) and another gentleman - Super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you for the sweet potato fries recommendation!! We ordered them on room services and they were THE BEST we've ever had. Room was nice and clean and SUPER quiet. Large comfortable bed. I used the gym room (only cardio) and unfortunately didn't have a chance to use the gym close by which had weights and was complimentary - a brilliant touch. Breakfast - excellent choice and super tasty. If we are ever in Houston again, we wouldn't even look for anywhere else to stay as it truly was PERFECT.…

From the valet service at the front door, to Laura at the front desk, my initial welcome was perfect. Laura was extremely personable, informational, and conversational. You could tell she was happy to be there and her welcoming approach made that clear. The rooms are gorgeous, the staff are friendly, and the food at Cultivated was delicious. I was here on business and chose to stay at this hotel even though it was farther away from where I needed to be… would do it 10/10 times again!

Danny was very friendly. He quickly and courteously corrected an issue. The pillows were super fluffy and the food in the restaurant was amazing. The breakfast was a little different each morning as well.

The facilities, rooms, and service were all excellent. However, I would like to particularly note the honor and integrity of the staff. I’m my haste to check out I accidentally left a watch that was a family heirloom (and quite expensive). The housekeeping staff found the watch and I was promptly notified by the front desk. The incredibly accommodating staff agreed to hold onto the watch for me for two days while I helped check my fiancé into MD Anderson for Ovarian cancer treatment. I would like to personally thank Jesus & Kaylee, and by extension the entire staff, for their professionalism and integrity. If I ever need to stay in a Houston hotel again, I will undoubtedly choose the Lancaster.

When we checked in for our very first visit to the Lancaster on 3/14/23 we were met at the reception desk by Laura. She did an excellent job of making us feel very welcome and confirmed our expectation of the Lancaster as a first-rate hotel. Amy at the bar also did an excellent job. Staff members such as these certainly help maintain the Lancaster’s classy reputation.

My dad booked a room for me and it was my first time staying here. I enjoyed my stay so much. The in room coffee and snacks were included, which were way better then average. Staff were friendly, helpful and patient, especially Gary. He bent over backwards to make sure my stay was pleasant.
