Beautiful property.. great location in West Houston. Front desk took great care of us! Nice clean room. Only issue we had was the shower water only being luke-warm early in the morning when we left. Overall, a great stay!!!!!!

Was surprised to see how spacious and lush with greenery and koi pond lobby was. The hotel was decorated for Christmas, so it made it even more beautiful. I’m a light sleeper, so could hear the cars from there highway in my room at night. I would recommend requesting a room that is not facing the highway.

This is a large place, so expect to have to walk a long distance from the elevator to get to your room. Also, there is road construction going on all around the property, so getting in and out is a bit tricky for now. NO extras are included with the room such as breakfast or coffee - everything else is extra.

This particular weekend there was no hot running water...only cool. The front desk has young inexperienced staff. It is very telling that they have no tenured employees at the front desk....NONE. They have ALL left and moved on to other Hyatt Hotels. It says they were very unhappy. It makes me sad they are not there.....I miss there welcoming smiles. You won't get that here!!

The hotel is in a perfect location. The only problem we encountered was the HVAC unit making noises whenever the heat came on. We switched rooms and the HVAC unit still made noises in the other room. I reported the issue during checkout. Hopefully it's repaired

Stayed here four nights around Thanksgiving weekend. Have stayed here many times, even before it changed from Omni to Hyatt. Seems that Hyatt has not kept up with basic maintenance items. Mattress was so old and sagged so badly in the middle husband and I kept rolling down into the “hole” in the middle. Only bathroom outlet was not working (tried rest and test buttons, no dice). Grout in bath/shower is mildewing and needs redone. Also, we stayed four nights and never received any housekeeping services, not even an offer of fresh towels or refills on coffee/ kcups. Disappointing because I am World of Hyatt member and this hotel is close to family, but will consider other options next time we come to visit.

Stayed in a Park Suite, at Globalist status through Gift of Hyatt. Checked in around 3:15, and had to wait until almost 4:00 for the connector suite to be ready (did get into the main bedroom immediately, though). The room was very clean, if a little run-down (scratched finish on furniture, fraying carpet, wall outlets that needed replacing, a non-working lamp). Both beds were quite comfortable, and the room had a nice layout. Hot water took FOREVER in both bathrooms, even in the middle of the night (so it wasn’t a high-usage time issue). Breakfast was delicious, with a generous portion, service was polite and quick but not particularly “friendly” (however at 9am I kind of prefer that!). The lobby of the hotel was absolutely beautiful and very well kept (loved the koi!). Hallways to the rooms could use new carpet in some areas. Overall I was very pleased with my stay and would go again, although if I had paid full price out-of-pocket (rather than getting it through Gift of Hyatt) I might be a little less impressed. …

The experience was great, they have all jinds of itema at the reception, they gave me toothpaste for free. The fish pound is beautiful and the diferent places to get foob make the experience really convenient.
