I understand that the water main broke and that isn’t the fault of the hotel. However, upon check in the man told me that they would supply bottled water for us because it is t safe to drink or brush our teeth. Then tonight after the event we are having here at the hotel, on our way back up to our rooms we were told we would have to pay per bottle. This is unacceptable. As a hotel you are required to provide clean water for your guests. I’m also writing corporate about this. I will not be staying at any of their hotels again because they could t simply provide some bottles of water without the $5 per bottle fee. The guest service man said “we will supply it, but you’ll have to pay for it”. Ummmm, isn’t that why I already DID pay for the hotel room!?! We should be able to have drinking water! Unacceptable. Because of his rudeness, I’ll also be sure to write this review everywhere that will take it. I went to CVS and had to pay over $15 for 6 bottles of water because they were sold out of regular water. The hotel should be reimbursing us for this and that man needs to learn what guest service is if he’s working in guest service. I’m not a complainer. But this, no. You don’t treat people like that who are paying to stay in your hotel. On another note, there is a good bit of water damage in the bathroom ceiling which concerns me for mold. I went to the hotel restaurant, I got the hot wings and they were barely fried. The skin was sticky and the sauce on the side instead of tossed. Because they were barely fried, the sauce no joke dripped off, wouldn’t even coat them. I’ve not stayed at one of these properties before, and now I know why. It will be the last time. I travel for work a good bit, and they won’t get any more visits from me, or my family when we vacation. Unacceptable to treat your guests like that.

I stayed at this hotel because it was hosting a dance convention that I was attending. The dance/ballroom was enjoyable and the service staff attended to our needs very well. I had issue with the hotel room I was given. I requested an early check-in which was a $50 up charge. When given a room, I was given one that already had guests in it. Luckily, the guests had their internal lock on so I could not fully walk in. I was asked to come back down to the front desk to be re-assigned a room. I was given a room that appeared clean but had small/hidden issues. My bedding (sheet and pillow cases) both had new stains on them. Most disturbingly to me, there were several long, fine hairs on both the bathroom floor and in the shower. I would stay here again, but would be sure that the cleanliness of the room is up to my standard.

I reserved a King Deluxe room. I checked in around 4:30pm and received the room keys. When I was able to go to the room around 9pm, there was a piece of clothing on the bed, trash from making coffee on the desk, and a dirty washcloth on the bathroom counter. I went to the front desk and they offered me a second room. When I went to that room, it was not a King bed. I returned to the front desk and they gave me a third room that was cleaned and had a King bed. Finally settled in, I started to make coffee. As it finished brewing, a small roach crawled out of the water reservoir (I took a picture because it was getting unbelievable). I called the front desk, but nobody answered, so I walked back to the front desk and asked for a new coffee maker. Housekeeping brought one, but when we opened the water reservoir, a used tea bag was in there and the coffee maker was missing the pod holder that holds the coffee pods. Not at all a great start. We used the complimentary bottled water to make the coffee we threw out due to the roach and the lady at the front desk said it was only complimentary when you first check in, so they didn't replace the waters. There were also no sheets/pillow/blanket for the sofa bed. We called the front desk and they said wouldn't bring them to the room, and that we needed to come get them. We had a room right off the lobby/near the pool because that was apparently the last King room available (that was cleaned and ready for guests). Unfortunately,there were kids running and playing a screaming in the lobby area near the pool until 11pm when I asked the adult out there to please keep it down. Parking is free, but you need to use your room key card to enter. In Sharpie, someone had written "upside down", which was supposed to indicate that you enter your room key upside down, however it took several tries to get the gate to open. Overall, not a great experience and I definitely would consider many other brands before booking with Wyndham again.
