Hotel is one of the noisiest we have ever experienced, and maintenance of physical premises is very inadequate, well below "Four Seasons" standards. Even for a downtown hotel the noise at night was unbearable.
We were in town for a concert at Toyota Center. Changed to this hotel last minute due to location since it was gonna be freezing. (Easy walk to Toyota Center). From the minute we drove up, the service was impeccable. There was no employee that didnt go out of there way to make sure we were taken care of. Dennis at the bar was THE BEST! Great drinks and great company. We also had Kate at Toro Toro and she was awesome as well! The twice daily housekeeping is wonderful. Spa was great too. We will now search for Four Seasons in the future for the great service you receive. Great trip!
Stayed at a number of Four Seasons and the rest were outstanding at 9/10 but this is a 5. Inflexible reception staff who didn't listen to my issue and no feeling they had delegated powers to sort things out especially in a quiet hotel where they could have easily moved my room and made us feel special. Only saved by a great concierge team.
Disappointing , poor service and not accommodating . Room was not clean and room service non existence. I waiting for 90 minutes for a blow of fruit and coffee which never arrived. When I called they had not even stated the order. The next day it took an hour and I did not get what I ordered. Was told I could not go in the dining room in my exercise attire.
We had booked the “ Deluxe two Bedroom Suite” at the Four Seasons in Houston for 3 nights. The price was steep, but the brand and advertising had us excited. The suite we were given, was barely furnished and decorated, two porcelain cups for coffee, for the rest paper cups and no pillows or blankets on the couch. The second bedroom was next to the elevator shaft and our family sleeping in this room had to move into the living room to get reprieve and sleep. The noise from the elevator was unbearable. Yes, the rooms were clean and modern, except for the bathrooms, but in no way did they represent what was advertised or what the respective nightly rate promised. I am a top tier member in a couple of other major Hotel loyalty programs, but have never been so disappointed, when choosing one of the top tier rooms of a property. Btw, the Hotel itself seems somewhat dated. The Bar and restaurant were understaffed. The Hotel staff was friendly.…
Everything was good—the support and response time. Of all four seasons, this is the first one I didn't have a problem with, Valet. I'll be back, and it was across the street from the house of blues. It made it easy to work.
Short business trip Excellent rooms - junior suite was large and very comfortable Great gym. Concept 2 and lots of other cardio. Excellent free weights (up to 90lbs dumbells) Breakfast at Toro Toro is just brilliant. The breakfast tacos superb Hugely recommend
Came to Houston for a wedding and chose the Four Seasons. The hotel was very beautifully renovated with vibrant rooms and decor. I booked a suite for this trip. One thing to know about the suites is the bedroom areas don’t have windows in some of them and also don’t have direct access to the bathroom. Some people might appreciate this because you get complete darkness to sleep in, but I wasn’t very fond of this being on a personal trip. I asked for another room and they understood. This part was a little messy but one of the managers took the time to personally show me some the other suites until I found one that was perfect. That was an amazing gesture. I chose the state suite, which has windows in both living area and bedroom. Extremely spacious with a nice wet bar area. The bed was extremely comfortable, valet was very attentive, and housekeeping was very prompt and thorough. There were a few minor pitfalls but they went the extra mile to make things right. I tried Toro-Toro for breakfast after hearing good things about it. It was okay at best, the concept seems good but lacks quality. Regardless of this, I would still recommend this property to anyone traveling to Houston. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable, the location is good, and service is good as you would expect from a Four Seasons property.…
We stayed here as a family of 6 over winter break in December 2022 and would highly recommend it for families or couples. The staff are super friendly from the minute you get out of your car. It was super cute how they had a hot chocolate bar out with all necessary ingredients multiple times per day. They offered us an upgrade to the suite and it was a great decision given that our time fell over the holidays and super cold weather outside. We were able to relax in the room with ample space when we didn’t have enough activities outside of the hotel. Anything you asked for they brought in little to no time. The hotel prides themselves on being family friendly and they exactly that. Upon our arrival in the room we had cookies, chips and salsa, toiletries and blankets for the baby ready to go. The hotel has been recently renovated and it’s clear as soon as you step into the rooms. The bathrooms are beautiful and everything works perfect. We came from another hotel where the hot and cold water didn’t even work properly so this was awesome. They had good quality toiletries and amenities for adults in the bathrooms as well. The room is stocked with a mini nesprrsso and necessary supplies. Additionally, we took advantage of the Christmas brunch at the Toro toro restaurant, which comes at a price but a good experience nonetheless. The staff here were super friendly as well and took great care of all of us. The brunch had roughly 8 stations of nonstop eating (bagels, egg station, hot sides, cold sides, dessert, kids sweets station, sushi station, etc). Some of the food items weren’t super fresh but okay. If there was lesser variety and better quality it would have been best. The gentlemen at the front doors were super friendly and you never had to wait for your car to be pulled up. It was a pricey stay but I would definitely stay at this location or other four seasons if they are all in such great quality with awesome staff such as the ones here.…
It is so beautiful at Christmas. The rooms are super nice and clean and the staff was amazing. I have to say the restaurant was amazing and ambiance was beautiful. One detail I loved was the sliding door on the opposite side of the shower. You could pull it back and if you were sitting in the room you could see into the shower and bathroom.
