Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! Definitely arrange a private chef meal with a dedicated bartender….outstanding experience. Chef Godstime, Bartender Maxamillion and General Manager Raul are STELLAR! They arranged a private 5 Star meal with custom mixed creatives. @fourseasons Way to be Amazing! Ask for one of the upgraded/remodeled rooms for your stay….epic. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Thanks to the whole staff there… U Rock!
This Four Seasons has gone all out on maximizing your experience while at the same time providing the highest level of safety. Friendly, efficient staff. Great bar and dining experience at Bayou and Bottle, and for afternoon drinks there’s always the best pool scene in downtown Houston IMO. Highly recommended!
When we had to move our covid-postponed wedding from Boston to Houston, with 60 days until the wedding, the Four Seasons was available to hold our event. The hotel, and particularly Andrea, Director of Catering & Conference Services, made the planning and execution of our event painless and stress-free. We had such an incredibly great experience....from the spacious and newly-renovated rooms for our guests, to the delicious food, to the above-and-beyond service at every turn....our daughter's wedding celebration was absolutely wonderful thanks to the staff at this hotel. The staff was attentive and responsive and very, very accomodating! We are now fans of the Four Seasons!
This is pretty much an update from my previous stay. Last time I was here I wasn't terribly impressed with the rooms. To my delight the rooms have finally been updated. The interior reminds me of fs Atlanta. I'm guessing most fs going through renovations will share similarities with color and design. This was a last minute mothers day weekend staycation. I thought it would be cool to have a cabana room next to the pool so everyone can wake up and jump right in. I used my amex plat for for guaranteed late checkout and $100 f&b credit. I initially asked for early check in but ended up not arriving until regular check in but my room still wasn't ready (covid?). My room was 404 which was on the residence side. It wasn't explained to me when they handed me the keys but not an issue, just 5min of confusion when I took the regular elevators to the 4th floor. But once I figured it out it was just a quick walk through the pool area to find the other elevators and my room. To FS credit everything I asked for pre-check in was waiting for me (rollaway bed, extra water, kids toiletries, kids robe). The best part about the room is being steps away from the pool. So if you're cold, hungry, tired just sit in your covered patio just steps away. Now since it's still covid I can't answer how loud it can get with a full hotel but for the most part when the doors were closed you couldn't hear what was going on outside. First night we ate room service. I ordered the burger and she had the wings. The burger was ok, nothing special but the wings just weren't that good. All in all an OK stay My issues The sliding door to the cabana. It was a pain to lock with the small lock. You had to pull the door in to get the hook in. There is also a large lock but the door and the frame were off to the point it was made useless. Remember when I told you my room was on the residence well if you need ice after the pool area closes call for it. So when I first looked for my room on the hotel side at check in I found the ice machine. With that location committed to memory one night I went through the sliding door to the pool area to go through the adjacent hotel door and grab some ice. Unlike on some other floors there is no hallway that connects the residence side to the hotel side because the gym separates the sides. So after I get some ice I discover the pool entry door is locked and I have to take the elevator down to the lobby and walk across to the residence elevator. I later saw I prob could have went down to the 3rd floor and used the elevator there. But it was a stupid hassle. And finally mothers day brunch. All I'm going to say for $100+pp that was it? Very disappointed especially since their regular Sunday brunch was so good and had tons of options. It was only around 6 stations and all the food was just ok. There were some hits but nothing impressive. Also for $100 I'm not asking you to make donuts but setting out shipleys cmon man lol. I'll chalk it up to that damn covid lol.…
This FS hotel is conveniently located in downtown Houston, close to Minute Maid park, the convention center, and plenty of restaurants. However, as compared to other FS properties that I’ve been to, this hotel was just a little bit better than a Marriott, ie. it did not “wow” us. The room was comfortable and spacious with a large HDTV. Bayou and Bottle provided decent food, but disappointingly there was no fine dining restaurant on site (which may have been pandemic related). The pool area looked like no one has been there to tidy up, and the pool was on the smaller side.
