I love Four Seasons and I've stayed at over 20 different hotels of the chain around the world. This is by far the worst: No soap in the bathrooms (they have large bottles with liquid soap that probably last for a year, same type that you will encounter in a cheap motel) No half baths, even in the large suites The receptionist bluntly lied to me, I asked for 2 connecting rooms and she gave me 2 that according to her were right next to each other, it turns out they were on the same floor...about 100 feet apart... Etc...etc... Long story short, if you are a Four Season fan and you have experienced other properties, this will be a massive disappointment. I need to go to Walgreens now to buy some soap to use in my 2grand x night suite...ridiculous

We were in town for a concert at Toyota Center. Changed to this hotel last minute due to location since it was gonna be freezing. (Easy walk to Toyota Center). From the minute we drove up, the service was impeccable. There was no employee that didnt go out of there way to make sure we were taken care of. Dennis at the bar was THE BEST! Great drinks and great company. We also had Kate at Toro Toro and she was awesome as well! The twice daily housekeeping is wonderful. Spa was great too. We will now search for Four Seasons in the future for the great service you receive. Great trip!

I have stayed at this hotel several times and am impressed every time I visit. The rooms are well appointed and never feel tired, the food is excellent at all of the restaurants and the in-room dining, the Wifi is high speed and the location perfect foe downtown Houston. Staff are well trained and know what they're about. I just love the hotel bar - great atmosphere, good bartenders that make an excellent cocktail and always an interesting (and friendly) cast of characters.

Recently took a business trip that turned into a family trip too. I am pleased to say that the Four Seasons were exceptional on both ends. I was so excited with the level of comfort and care during the business part of my stay, I couldn't wait to extend my stay two more nights for my wife to join me and enjoy the atmosphere I'd been enjoying. She was also just as impressed and we both look forward to another, care free, relaxing weekend in the near future. Thanks Four Seasons for living up to your name!

The hotel is well located and the condo rooms are large and well appointed. The food AG the restaurants was very good as well and so was the service particularly at Toro Toro. Unfortunately, the service from the front desk and concierge is more like a one star if at all. They are completely untrained and it seems understaffed. I had numerous instances over my stay including requesting the concierge to make a booking for an excision and 3 hours later was informed by her that she doesn’t have the time. Besides this another staff member sent me to the wrong restaurant in the middle of nowhere without checking the details accurately so I had two futile taxi trips….no regard to anyones time or costs. Packages I knew had been delivered as I had proof of delivery took 5 separate calls to the concierge to locate including first denials of any delivery. My oven that I requested be diced on day one never was because no one came to do it….Even the bill that they sent me at check out was in the wrong name!!! I can go on and on…the only person who was extremely capable was a lady who was the head concierge (I believe her name was Michelle)…if only all the staff were as committed or capable as her…is that asking too much from a supposed 5 star hotel? Very disappointing and unfortunately drags down the name of a very good hotel brand.

I have gone from "stay only at Four Seasons" to "stay anywhere But Four Seasons." This hotel chain is way overpriced for the quality you receive. The rooms are the same as Marriot's; there is no such thing as organic food choices; they don't provide alternatives for food allergies (not even a dairy free butter option!) and their customer service is non-existent. The pool at the Houston location is from 1972 and shows it (ick).

Hello, I guess I could put this on trip advisor as well, but wanted to make you aware beforehand to give you a chance to correct the very sub-par experience for a Four Seasons hotel that I have ever experienced. We chose a stay-cay for one night after rodeo at the nicest hotel in Houston, and spent half a mortgage payment for a one night stay, happily, and this is what we got upon arrival and thru checkout… Upon arrival in the front lot, our family pulled in behind the car in front of us, as we waited our turn for a bellman or valet. After waiting 5 minutes, another vehicle pulled in the center lane up toward the middle and was greeted and unloaded immediately. We were then led to that spot after they were all done. 15-20 mins in the front lot. Yes, we were politely finally greeted and unloaded. Upon check in, we were given our keys and welcomed to our room, #917, facing Louisiana st. Entering our room, we went to fill the bathtub that was specifically confirmed for our room by phone, and there was not one. Ok, so they made a mistake. Enter minibar fridge, multiple drinks missing from the fridge. Check. Down to Bayou and Bottle for our lunch, no one there to greet or seat. We had to walk to the bartender and ask him if it was seat yourself. He advised we could seat ourselves and a server would be over. So we seated ourselves. No server greeted or brought us our first glass of water for over 10 more minutes. Then they dropped the water and left without asking us if we would like to place Our order. Another 10-15 minutes passed before I had to walk to the bartender and ask if I needed to place my order there or if there was a server? He advised there was a server and she would be over. Finally, we got to order our food. Highlight of the day, mushroom flatbread, fish and chips, and cheeseburger. The food was good. Ok, back up to the room to get changed and go to the indoor pool, also confirmed by phone booking and confirmation of our reservation. Nope, this heated salt water pool was outside, and it was a bit chilly outside, it’s one of the main reasons we booked the stay for the kids. Also, we specifically asked for the kids pool package, nobody ever brought us or contacted us about this package or assisted us with info upon arrival, also confirmed on phone booking and confirmation. We swam for a short time since we had already promised the kids a swimming adventure. I wouldn’t say the pool was “heated”. The hot tub felt nice though. Back to our room for dinner, ordered a filet, spaghetti, 2 Caesar salads with grilled shrimp, and cheesecake with a scoop of vanilla and chocolate ice cream. The grilled shrimp looked To still be raw so we called down for a new salad. The steak and pasta was pretty good. We got our new Caesar and grilled shrimp salads. Shrimp, again, still undercooked. They asked for our feedback upon delivery, so we called down to let them know it was still undercooked. The gentleman on the phone advised he had let the chef know that they looked like the first order we were displeased with, but she (the chef) told him that she cooked them a little longer and thats how they were supposed to be prepared. We did not want to wait for a new salad, our ice cream was already melting, so we just pulled the shrimp off and ate the Caesar salad. He advised they would cover the food ticket, and we said just the salads would be appreciated. Then off to sleep, except, that was nearly impossible facing Louisiana street with blaring music and exhaust pipes revving all night. Forget we have a 4 & 6 year old to boot, who wake easily to foreign loud noises all thru the night. At checkout we were asked about our stay and I mentioned the fact there was no bathtub or indoor pool as promised upon booking the room. He then apologized and asked if the kids had received their gift, to which I replied no, and he gave them 2 stuffed horses. That was a nice surprise for them, thank you. I’m pretty sure those were supposed to be in the room waiting for them based on what I was told when booking by phone. I will never recommend this hotel, nor stay at this Four Seasons location again. By no means is this the same Four Seasons standard I have been accustomed to over the years. Very disappointed and thankful I only booked one night. I can think of a million things I’d rather spend $1500 on for one night for my family, and not one of them would be the torture of this stay. Sincerely, Daniel M. Lee 832-875-7430

Stayed one night after an evening flight from the east coast, prior to a drive out to San Antonio and Austin. Our one bedroom suite was spacious, modern and impeccably clean. There wasn’t much of a view from the 16th floor but that didn’t matter to us. Service was attentive and prompt, with a special shout-out to the gentleman who helpfully jerry-rigged our malfunctioning automated mini fridge and brought us our room service dinner. We did not stay long enough to comment on location and other services, but it was perfect for us, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
