NUMBER OF ROOMS
This place is a real home from home. Amazingly friendly staff and a genuinely warm atmosphere. Great food for breakfast and thre dinner options on Monday to Wednesday. Very suprised to have veggie options at all mealtimes. Very unusual and much very appreciated. I can't recommed this place highly enough. A really enjoyable 2 week stay and I wll be back for sure.
Stayed a couple of nights while visiting friends who live nearby. The room, #110, was quiet and clean. My only complaint is the horribly noisy A/C. There’s no way I can sleep with it on. So, we only visit Houston in Winter! The staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast is the usual hot and cold selections. Easy access to the freeway.
With family nearby that I visit regularly, Staybridge Energy Corridor is a wonderful find--by far my best Houston-area hotel experience. Quiet and clean, with well-kept buildings and grounds, plus a great location close to restaurant and shopping options, it's perfect for exhausted travelers. But even better is the staff: friendly and helpful, absolutely top-notch. Shout out to the housekeeping staff for finding a treasured left-behind jacket, to the front desk staff for tracking it down, and to Myyar for making it sure it got back to me!
I stayed 3 nights at this location and I give it 3 snaps due to unappetizing breakfast. If you like the sound of traffic, make sure to get a room facing Eldridge, like I did. The Staybridge in Torrance, California serves much better breakfasts (ham, bacon, omelets, white rice, seaweed, yogurts, pastries, cold cereals galore .... ) I envisioned the same set up when I booked here at Eldridge. NOPE! Every day, sausage and watery scrambled eggs and boiled eggs (hard-to-peel unpeeled) greeted me. This coordinated well with the cloudy weather and small pool. Blah. Thankful that: The room was clean and didn’t have any strange overpowering moldy or air freshener smell (same with hallways) 🤩 I got fed🤩 (they do have the customary fruit, breads, cold cereal, oatmeal, waffles) Bed comfy 🤩 Staff courteous 🤩 Nice safe area and restaurants abound 🤩 You can also fill up with free food on Monday and Wednesday at “the social” hour here. 🤩 …
Hotel was clean and well cared for. The issues we had were pretty minor, but notable. The AC in our room read that it was 71, but we were all hot. Even my wife who is cold natured was warm. The breakfast left alot to be desired. One morning they had veggie breakfast sausage that looked like taco meat. The next morning it was turkey sausage links and the scrambled eggs had spinach in them (that actually wasn't too bad, just different.) The ONLY option for waffles was strawberry. Give me plain and I can add fruit IF I WANT IT! But I should have the option. Finally, this is TEXAS. THIS is the kicker for me. Why is there a 30.06 sign at the front? If I cannot carry my concealed weapon inside (I have a concealed carry license), then I will not be staying here ever again! If some lunatic starts acting a fool, I want to have the means to protect my family! As I stated, the hotel is clean, the people were nice, so if the issues I brought up do not bother you, then you will have a wonderful stay here.…
