Very nice and clean place for the price I paid. Would definelty come here whenever I come to Houston to visit. Staff is kind and very helpful. Would definetly recommend this over the Motel 6. Good spot and close to many restaurants in the area.

This sire was very clean and welcoming. The staff made me feel very safe and secure as I was a female traveling alone. I would highly recommend this facility for not only for safety but also the proximity to local shopping needs.

The+: spacious and good refridge, full size. The NEG: they ran OUT of toilet paper the entire weekend! No one even attempted to make amends. Breakfast is meager instant oatmeal, instant hot choc, and packaged muffins, gran bars. Coffee n hot water run out quickly and no one to refill for long time. Front desk often unattended. Don't expect to get what you reserve. Apparently other people staying at hotel are allowed to extend their stay, and thus bump your reservation into a different room type. The pool is small n in the middle of the parking lot and people are constantly smoking just outside the door allowing the smoke to drift to the pool. The folks next to us demanded a refund because their room was too dirty to remain in ( they had 2 tired kids at midnight and they just departed w nowhere to go, that's how bad it was). Our room was relatively clean and we had nowhere to go so we had to stay out of exhaustion. Another patron reported that the Humble location was WAY better and had a full up hot breakfast. My advice, never book at this location Hwy 6,I-10 near Bear Creek soccer fields. If you consider other locations, chk out the reviews first and be prepared to get a different room type than the one you reserved. Also the queen size beds seem to be smaller than normal queen size.

I always make reservations with the same hotel simply because of the location... and the kitchen...I make it a point to reserve well ahead of time... I can’t understand why every time that I make a reservation it is never GRANTED... I always request a 1st floor room... Due to the fact that the elevator close to the front desk is always out of order...Climbing the stairs is not good for my health especially when the receptionist say that they only have 3rd floor rooms available...Having to walk to the back section of the property to the 2nd elevator is very inconvenient... I’ve been staying here for the last year for business... I’m considering changing...Breakfast to go has always been a problem... I just don’t go to get anything because there’s nothing to get besides coffee... You might be lucky a day or two to get a muffin or granola bar.... I stayed a whole week and had to cook myself breakfast...The room was okay and everything worked fine... The year of 2018, I have spent hundreds of dollars at this hotel...

Thank you for making us your home away from away. Please accept our sincere apology for the lack of attention at the front desk and for the inconvenience you had with your reservations. Your experience is not indicative of the service we train our associates to provide. We have shared your feedback with the entire team as we take your comments seriously, and our training will be revisited to ensure this does not happen again. We hope you will visit us back in the future and will try our best to accommodate you in the room of your choice. Sincerely, Hotel Management

My wife and I came to Houston for a particular purpose. We planned the trip in such a way that we would be more out and inside so we required a budget hotel that can at least make us feel comfortable during our stay at nights. We couldn’t really care too much about the speed of the WiFi because all I needed it for was to check emails and messages. The connection was very slow (about 0.7 to 0.8mbps down and about 0.1mbps up). Surprisingly, despite being the slowest internet connection I’ve experienced in years, I still managed to get what I needed to be done online without any issue. The signal strength was good but bandwidth was poor. I will not make this an issue though because I did not come to Houston to download and stream videos, movies or play online gaming. The reception/front desk young ladies were generally friendly and accommodating however, there were two things to note. Firstly, we asked for a maintenance person to take a look into an issue we brought up which was never done, despite the lady taking a note of our request and secondly, when asked, I was told that there were no DND door handle signs as the explanation given to me was, people would steal them. Well that’s a first! In terms of maid service, it doesn’t appear to be a frequent thing but we did not request this. The hotel itself seemed okay in terms of facilities and cleanliness but I did notice some dust to the top of the refrigerator which can only mean that something so obvious and easy to clean being easily overlooked doesn’t resonate the right feelings as if other areas were given any attention at all. The pillows and sheets seemed okay despite observing very tiny black particles randomly at times. I attributed this to general dust or particles released by the air conditioner. The air conditioner did work okay but was noisy and I get the feeling that the air filter was in a mess. The carpets required changing out or shampooing/steaming because it smelt like it was there for 10years already and one could only imagine the dust, germs and mites that probably reside within it. I wore a slip on whilst in the room which had a white sole. By the time we checked out, my slip ons white sole was black. No kidding! The shower head had a slight leak and there was a stain on the bathtub. Hot water seemed to work fine 95% of the time and the water quality also seemed okay. The toilet for the most part flushed okay as well. Towels and general linen were also okay despite the general odd smell emanating from them. The room access swipe card did give random trouble which took a couple of tries simply to enter the room at times. The GE refrigerator was small but worked fine. It seemed okay also in terms of cleanliness but it looked like it suffered hurricane damage in a past life. The GE microwave we used once or twice and seemed okay as well and was relatively clean without foul odor. The LG flat screen tv worked perfectly fine and seemed relatively new with a descent selection of cable channels that showed in HD quality. The remote control though may have had some weak batteries inside. The room did not come with any kitchen utensils and cutlery so we purchased our own disposable ones from the nearby HEB grocery store. We had cause to use the iron and it worked perfectly fine for us. The parking lot had more than sufficient space for many vehicles. We never encountered an issue in terms of available spots despite being all sold out for several days when we stayed here. The outside pool seemed okay but it was closed probably because it was too cold or it’s down for repairs/servicing. Breakfast was just coffee and granola bars. We did not notice any type of security on the premises nor lots of CCTV cameras but we did notice on two occasions when we were returning at night, a black Chevy Camaro with a guy seated on the drivers seat acknowledging our arrival into the compound with a friendly wave and the brief turning on of the blue lights. We simply assumed he was some sort of law enforcement. I can go on and on trying to find faults with this hotel including the laundry room where most washers and dryers were out of order but we did not use this service because we were prepared for this scenario. We purchased our own soap, toilet paper, plastic utensils and disinfecting wipes etc. to make our stay comfortable. May I also add that we did observe cigarette smoke in the hallways and in elevators which contributed to the diversity of strange smells throughout the hotel. All in all, we were not repulsed in any form or fashion since for the price, I would say the overall experience was not bad. I know for others this place would be horrible but with an open mind, it’s really a good place to crash at nights and head on out on mornings to conquer your busy day.
