The parking attendants were great! Samantha at the front desk was awesome! She was very helpful and knowledgeable about things in the local area. The room we stayed in was very nice and clean. My son loved that the bathroom had two showers. The elevator to the top floor was fast. We enjoyed our stay!
the entire experience was top notch, i just left about an hour ago and the front desk people were the kind of folks they had at all hotels, only in town for a couple of days to see baseball games and will never stay anywhere else in houston. if you are in town for astros baseball i actually counted my steps from the front door to the left field entrance was 81 steps, you cross two crosswalks and bam you are at minute maid park. it was hot so the ballpark cafe was perfect right across from the front desk, again everyone involved in making my stay one of the best, please accept my heartfelt thanks. hope to see you again next year, or sooner.
From the moment we arrived we were greeted with genuine southern hospitality from every one of the staff from the valet to the reception staff. Rooms were clean and updated we couldn't have had a more restful stay. Front desk staff were knowledgeable of the area happenings and local events. They truly helped make our last minute New Year's Eve stay a memorable experience! We look forward to visiting again soon.
Had a wonderful time with my son!! Enjoyed our talks with Alexis and had the best service at the restaurant. We played cards in the lobby and had tons of laughs with everyone Made great memories
As a businessman who travels all over the country I expect the basic customer service from the staff. Not at the Westin Houston Downtown. Zoe and Jessica are the best bartenders in Texas. Definitely go to this bar in Houston, TX fantastic customer service.
This is to review the valet was excellent, they got our car in no time. Vallet attendant: Adonis and Jordan. The hotel was ok, service could be better. We were there for Houston Marathon and they promised breakfast station at 5am, but by the time we were there at 5:15 they were still setting up the station.
The room was lovely and the staff were great. Very convenient location downtown across from the stadium. First issue wa that housekeeping seemed to struggle to keep up on Sunday when a large group left. The second was that our room opened onto the atrium in the center of the hotel. This meant a great deal of noise lasting late into the evening. Would recommend asking for upper floors.
I stayed at the Westin downtown Houston from the 7th -11th of December 2022, and my experience was as good as I had expected. The front dest agents were welcoming and the front desk manager was also helpful by answering my chat before I had even arrived! My room was large and had a classic look and feel to it. My view was a lobby /inside view and that was fine with me. I ate breakfast each day of my stay and my waitress Alexis was spectacular!!!!!! She made sure to check in with me frequently to make sure everything was okay. The front desk agents and the security even went above and beyond for me on the 11th when I started to feel a little ill (flu) by opening up the marketplace for me to purchase some medication!!!! I highly recommend staying at this property and when I am in the Houston area again this will definitely be where I will be staying!!! Thank you sooo much for the wonderful experience!!!!!!…
I want to give shout out to all these employees that make the experience here at hotel amazing! First off General Manager Brian make the welcoming a great experience. His supporting supervisor staff such as Sofia is very nice and professional. All in security Humberto, Marlon, Patrick and others help feel safe and always attentive to all. His staff in the check in area, and dining area are superior, the Chefs make amazing food daily and all the supporting staff in bar, check in and dining area, Yolanda, Filimon, Alexis, Lalo, Claudia, and Bianca and others I didn't get names for. This hotel is great location in downtown, great rooms, great food, great service and a place I would visit again and recommend to all friends and family. Great hidden gem downtown!!!! a++++++++++++++ From: R. Juarez…
My family and I traveled to Houston to visit families for the holidays. We don’t know the area very well, however Karin at the front desk is very knowledgeable in term of recommending what tourists attraction to checkout. She suggested us to check out Post Houston where there is a rooftop overlooking the Houston downtown, and nearby was an aquarium which was very convenient. Additionally, Karin was very kind and enthusiastic. The hotel is clean and cozy. Staffs were friendly and cool. We would definitely stay here again!
