The worse hotel we have ever stayed at. Rooms are in poor shape, not clean, stained and smelly. Repairs have not been made with many items broken. Trash is allowed to collect in hallway room causing nasty odor. The hall carpets and room carpets are not vacuumed. Absolutely disgusting. We chose this hotel because of the close proximity to MD Anderson. Would NEVER stay again!!

I chose this hotel because of the price, it was by far the cheaper in the area, and of course you get what you pay. The "breakfast" was ridiculous, just coffee, prepackaged muffin and honey bars. My room was never cleaned during the 4 days I stayed there. In fact, it must have been a while since someone cleaned, because I found a pair of jeans under the bed, probably from a previous guest. Plus, check-in lady was not very happy to see me at 11pm, not one word of welcome. The location is awful (unless you need to use the hospitals nearby), but that is not their fault.

We chose this place because it was close to MD Anderson, the price, it had a fitness center, kitchen and offered continental breakfast. Upon arrival, their signage suggested if we need something to "just ask." The kitchen had nothing in it to prepare food or to eat with. Every cabinet was empty. When I asked for a teapot or sauce pan I was told there were none left. They were all checked out. The next morning I went down for breakfast to find coffee and prepackaged oat and honey bars. Starving. I had to buy groceries to have breakfast only to be told again, all the pots and pans were gone. When I told the manager that both Expedia and hotels.com said they provided a continental breakfast, he said he would call them. No apology or attempt to make it right. The fitness Center was s joke. There is no place to hook your headphones into the elipticle so the TV volume had to be ridiculously loud to be overheard by the creaking of the machine. The layout of the room is odd. The TV is in the middle but does swivel enough to be see clearly on the sofa or the bed. The towels are thin. There is only shampoo and no conditioner. Our little friend Bear liked the pillows. That was the highlight. The fitness cen

The location is close to the Houston Medical Center. The hotel has a small pool and a micro gym packed with vending machines. Internet OK, cable TV good. The rooms have a good size and are generally clean. Grab and go breakfast means granola bars and coffee (pots often empty). They only have small cups which don't fit the car cup-holders: more or less useless. The big problem is the housekeeping service. Totally unreliable, unpredictable, when (if) they come grumpy and you have to leave the room for at least half an hour. No flexibility at all to adjust their schedule... All in all a good hotel for the price. Management of breakfast and housekeeping in particular needs TLC.
