Once more spent 10 days at this very comfortable and welcoming establishment. Tom is a most convivial host who serves a delightful breakfast, (his cheese & ham omelet is to die for, as is the maple sausage). Situated in Montrose area of Houston so within easy reach of the many museums and galleries in the city. There are many and... More

I'vhhe lost count of the visits to this charming and welcoming B&B in the heart of Montrose in Houston. The welcome is always so warm and the comforts are "home from home". Tom, mine host always produces a wonderful breakfast, and anything extra is never any trouble. I have already reserved my stay for May 2016 'nough said !!

Another wonderful stay in this charming and friendly B&B, located in the historic district of Montrose in this exciting city of Houston. Once again Tom "mine host" excelled himself with his warm and sincere welcome, where nothing to make one's stay comfortable is too much trouble. The breakfast table is a delight with something different cooked every morning. The front... More

Very caring owners! We stayed two nights in January 2015. I've been traveling for almost 50 years and I favor staying in B&B's, small hotels, and inns as much as possible. Tom and Richard are very good owners who were hospitable, witty, provided good recommendations and cook a delicious breakfast. The house is in the museum district on a quiet... More

This lovely B&B is near to the /Montrose/Museum District in Houston. The home is historic and filled with many treasures, antiques and mementos. Browsing was always a rewarding experience. Tom, the owner, was very hospitable and helpful. We enjoyed a excellent and different breakfast each morning of our stay. He accommodated my desire for coffee well before breakfast time. Our... Another 10 night stay in this very welcoming B&B in the heart of The Montrose district of this awesome city. Montrose is an up market older district of the city and is full of beautiful colonial type properties, with a lot of character. This esablishment offers an excellent breakfast or in the 2 suites off the outside deck there are... More

If you are planning to visit the museum district in Houston, this is a great location to stay in... less than a mile or so from all the major sights: Menil, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Natural Sciences, plus close to downtown, Whole Foods, Trader Joes & lots of good places to eat. The B&B is in an old... More

Had another 10 night stay end April/early May, and once again was more than comfortable at "The Palms". staying in The Dynasty Suite which is in the main house. Mine host Tom, provides a plentiful breakfast, and a regular morning chat. The property has a genuine warm and welcome feel, due to Tom & Rick's attention to detail, and their... More

I have little to add to previous well-written reviews but "Ditto!" Tom was an exceedingly friendly and accommodating host -- he made me scrambled eggs both mornings I was there, and even gave me (and my ridiculously heavy suitcase) a ride to my friends' house in Montrose. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Savannah Suite. I also greatly... More
