Just opened in Feb2019, this is a very nice addition to the Marriott family of Residence Inn hotels. These are all-suite rooms with very comfortable mattresses, full kitchen, and living room area. Friendly front desk service. Good quality free hot breakfast and then fee-based dinner is available (I tried their chicken parmesan - very tasty). Very decent gym and pool; $7 parking garage. If you need to be in the area - walking distance to NRG Park - this is a great new choice.

I'll start by saying our room and bathroom were very spacious as well as clean! I definitely enjoyed the room. My only complaints are two things: 1. They charge you to park when the room itself isn't cheap to start with. But it's only $7.00/night so then again it's not too bad. 2. I was overcharged by $115.63. We stayed on a Thursday night and checked out Friday morning around 10:00. The charge for the room was showing on my card Thursday so that's great. Monday morning I check my bank account and they had charged us $115.63 on Saturday. A whole day after we had checked out, for some reason they decided to run it for $115. Apparently no one noticed either, because it took me calling to get it refunded. All in all, because the room was great I would give this place another chance. It was very nice, it was just aggravating they overcharged us. So, make sure you check your accounts if you stay here.

Checked in to this hotel, as I am in town for business. My company office is only a couple miles away so I thought I’d try out this new hotel. The hotel is beautiful, very elegant decor and modern rooms. Upon checking in my check in experience was average, nothing out of the usual. After settling in I decided to go downstairs to have a drink. The bar was full, however the bartender John made every effort to make sure I felt welcomed. He was attentive and had a great energy. After a long work week, this is the kind of service you expect but seldom receive. Food was great, John made sure I had everything I needed even though it was very busy. He asked not only about my dining experience, but also about my stay, how I liked my room and what I was in town for. I had to ask for his business card to write a review. This will be my first choice when I come back to Houston!
