The room was nice, clean, and larger than expected at the very affordable price. The owners were very friendly and were able to switch us from a smoking to a non-smoking room upon check-in. The hotel is right on the purple-line so it was convenient to catch the train to go downtown. We'll be staying here again!

I didn't know the neighborhood when I booked the hotel. The hotel was clean - and convenient - right off the freeway. When we looked for a place for dinner, we realized it was in 'the hood'. Not a place to walk around even though it is near the university. We had hoped for a better neighborhood. The breakfast was...

This was my second stay at Scott Inn & Suites. Room was clean comfortable, staff is friendly. Great location for downtown. I had an event at the convention center and loved having a 5-10 minute commute on area streets - no freeway. Great price for downtown area. There's a great breakfast taco place at Leeland and Dowling, on the way...

It's on the outskirts of Houston but only 15 minutes from the center by car. The place is cozy and clean. The room was very large. Breakfast was a little scarce, but free. Free WiFi and nice staff. Not a bad place to spend a night or two!

We aren't from around here and so weren't sure of the area and some of the reviews are mixed. We were pleasantly surprised, our room is a standard room of decent size, with a couch, desk, wall mounted tv, microwave/fridge, and a hairdryer. It's a clean room. Booked thru booking.com, checking in went by without a hitch, friendly guy at...

My daughter and I recently went to Houston on a business trip. We decided to spend the night and so we got a room at Scott. Were were not sure what to expect based on the budget pricing, but we weren't looking for fancy this trip, just a room a step up from sleeping in the car, if you know...

This hotel is a no frills place but it is reasonably priced and not too far from downtown right off the highway. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. It is an easy drive downtown without having to use the crowded highways. I also found it to be within walking distance although some may think it is too far as...

This place deserves a higher rating than it's received. I've stayed here whenever I've had to for over a year. I've never had a major concern with anything here and the staff has always been fast and helpful when I've made a reasonable request. The rooms are always very clean and stocked with fresh towels and bathing products. The motel...

I travel for work frequently and have stayed here at least twice in the past. It's always been clean and is very accessible by car to various neighborhoods and attractions. Because Houston is so large and spread out, I like to stay near downtown as cheaply as possible, and this hotel fits that bill. It's not a very walkable area...
