The ambience, the staff, the bar and dining were absolutely superb with the finest attention to detail. I was greeted as an Ambassador Platinum Member and provided with the utmost in royal treatment. It will be an honor and relaxing pleasure to be a guest at this marvelous hotel. So accommodating, genuine and welcoming are just some of the reasons this establishment is better than five star!
Such a high level of service and attention to detail, they make you feel extremely welcome from the beginning! Great service has been felt across all areas of hotel and it’s excellent location, especially if need to visit nearby hospitals. Also decor of the hotel feels very refreshing with a lot greenery, which has almost felt therapeutic walking through the lobby each day.
This was our first visit to this property. We normally stay at the Rotary House, but this visit changes our future. We made a short notice trip and booked using points, so I won't comment on value. I will say, this is a 5 star property all around. The room was excellent as were the staff and restaurants. We will defiantly visit this property again.
This hotel was very accomendating and nice place to stay. From the very start Keith Wilkerson made the reservation process for our entire cook team as easy as possible. Kat at the front desk made the check in process run smooth. And the gentleman, Crew who ran the bar was awesome. Only issue we had was the entire computer system went down worldwide but Keith was on top of it and helped us get the last few of our people into a room. We will be back next year!
I have had to travel many times to Houston for a risky medical condition for my daughter's infant. Each time I have stayed at the Intercontinental. The rooms are definitely the cleanest I have seen in a long time. And the hotel itself also sparkles with cleanliness. But the jewel is the in-hotel restaurant and its staff at the Safina. Their level of attentiveness and professionalism is superb. I would like to specifically mention the managers, Carl Alias and Ngoc (sorry..don't know last name). Ngoc was extremely friendly and Carl was a true gentleman (a rarity today). I also cannot fail to mention the excellent valets. When I was dealing with some stressful situations at Texas Children's Hospital, it was a place I could come back to and feel at 'home.' Thank you.
Ronita helped us so much. As out of towners, she made us feel at home with her friendly and helpful demeanor. A true delight, I look forward to seeing her on the shuttle on my next trip to the Intercontinental!
Good location, very convenient if you’re looking for a place to stay near the medical center Or Rice University. Great stay, very attentive and helpful staff; specially Victor Garza from the Valet parking team was outstanding! The rooms were nice, spacious and very clean, thanks to Mirian at housekeping.
The valet service on February 13th and 14th were amazing! They were attentive, friendly, professional and provided extremely quick service. The manager on duty at noon on February 14th was an incredible example of leadership and professionalism.
the room was spacious and very clean has all the amenities and even has two showers rob with slippers staff, room lighting is pleasant, loved being a club member to get all perks that come with it. Safina restaurant has Mediterranean-style cuisine delicious Ngoc with her pleasant smile received you in the morning for breakfast with a big smile staff well trained, Rigoberto and Kat HOSTING YOU IN THE EVENING. extremely happy with their services.
Food was incredible, service was even better! The hummus was amazing and the Brussels sprouts were the best I have ever had! Carl and Jose treated us like princesses! We were given pillows when there was excess space between our backs and our chairs, and after telling the manager that we were vegetarians, he made us a fresh salad, free of charge!
