The staff and the Moran were awesome. They helped me hide the balloons and carry everything upstairs. I was super stressed and they helped make it easy. These were all led light candles FYI.Thank you.

My boyfriend and I stayed at The Moran MLK weekend and would defined stay again. The rates are a bit higher than other options but it was easy to see why when we arrived. It’s attached to a popular shopping and restaurant city center so you have tons of options for mid and high end dining, entertainment and shopping. We had dinner at The General Public and breakfast at Sweet Paris Creperie and enjoyed both. They were mid range and did not require reservations to dine (coming from Chicago that was a relief). The hotel has free parking on the 3rd door which is huge if renting a car. We were able to come and go with no issues finding a park. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from central Houston so we didn’t make trips back to the hotel during the day but it’s not so far that it feels completely out of the way. The city center makes up for the distance from central Houston because there’s so many dining options to chose from. Our room came with a seal on the door and cleaning was only by request. We had no problem requesting extra towels or even coming to clean. One night we arrived back to our room late and I wanted to heat up my food so I asked the receptionist if there was a microwave in the lobby since the room did not come with a fridge or microwave. To my surprise she let me know she would have one delivered to the room. We left back out and came back to a microwave as promised. The room was clean, hotel quiet and staff extremely friendly. Loved the decor as well. The bed was pretty comfy although I wished there was a mattress cover under the sheets because you could see the mattress through the sheets. Other than that no complaints!

The facility was fantastic. Rooms were beautiful and the area around the hotel were great. Lots of shopping, restaurants and activities. For a working location, it was ideal with short term office rentals across the street and a gym at the end of the block. The service was exceptional with Sophie at the front desk making my stay from ordinary to extraordinary!

Had a stay cation this past weekend. I arrive about 7:00 PM, the first thing you notice is how clean and nice the hotel is. being right in the middle of city center was just a great bonus. Tons of dining and shopping all within walking distance. The check in staff was great. Ms. Sophie Akers went out of her way to make the stay perfect. I was lucky enough to experience a top floor suite, and I have never stayed in a nice room. The veranda was the place to be at sunset. I got to experience one of the most beautiful sunsets ever. The room was modern and clean, the bed and the linens were top notch. Can't wait to return, and another thank you to Ms. Akers for making my stay truly special.
